"This condo is first rate in all aspects. The furniture, the appliances, the AC, the beds…. Very, very comfortable.
The two King Suites each have an view and private, large balcony- the views and sunsets are amazing. The third bedroom looks out on the ‘other side’ of the bay and the view there is really nice itself.
Internet access was easy, reliable and fast. There are two flat panel TVs and, using the menu to switch to SAP mode made quite a few channels work in English (and impressed my 11 year old daughter immensely – one for dad!).
There is a guard to monitor the comings and goings. The condo is located on the top floor. There is an elevator and you can hear the ocean from both floors.
Now:…. The trek to and from the beach, while short in distance – maybe 2 blocks - is quite steep. Doable but you are going to feel it. It wasn’t a detriment for us and you can easily drive the very short distance if need be.
Around and About
The beach itself is very nice, not too crowded and certainly not overcrowded. A pleasant surprise.
The Condo is in a very nice neighborhood. Very comfortable and safe with a nice little shopping center nearby.
There are lots of fun little daytrip events right there. Surf lessons, snorkeling, zip lining, hiking, restaurants, shopping…... fun, easy.
Across the way is the Monkey Bar. If you go there and ‘buy a drink’ you can use their pool. They actually have three pools and the main one has a wet-bar, nice tanning lounge chairs and a super view of the ‘other side’ of the bay.
There is a restaurant called Coco Loco just down the beach… as short drive or a long walk. Great food, arrive an hour before sunset to get a table on the beach. That sunset you get won’t disappoint.
Special Places (Kenny/Phem) were great to work with. Clear and fast communication. Understandable paperwork. Good/relevant information about local events. Their office is about a block away from the Oceanica 807 so that was convenient as well. We arrived on Sunday night about 715pm… they were there and ready to go. Super easy.
We highly recommend this area of Costa Rica (not that we are big CR experts). We are so happy that we have already recommended this area and this unit to our friends and, I know it’s cliché’, but we are already planning a trip back for 2017 and will look to stay here again."

"My family of 4 travels really well with 3 other families/amazing friends of ours. This was our 2nd annual Spring Break shared Vacation. There is no way I will be able to say enough about what an incredible time we all had at Casa Playa Bonita.
Where do I start? Lisa is so prompt and pleasant and made planning our trip a breeze. She and Yoko answered all of our questions immediately. Yoko will book your transportation and any day trips, she will make reservations for dinner, she is available to answer any questions at any time before and during your stay. When I called, she picked up. We were taken care of. Herman and Blanca were a dynamic duo for sure. Blanca is one stealth woman! She was like a ghost. We bought tons of fruit and she would cut it for us every morning and set it out without anyone seeing her. Any time we would try and wash a glass or dish she would stop us. She cleaned our rooms every day and I swear I rarely ever saw her! Herman and Blanca have perma-grins and they are wonderful human beings. Make sure you arrange at least one dinner cooked for you. They made us the BEST Tuna we've ever had. Even the non seafood eaters tried it and loved it!
Casa Playa Bonita is a perfectly designed home. 4 families, 14 people and there was plenty of privacy when needed. Best location, gorgeous sunsets, steps to the beach, a quick walk to Coco Loco's. It's like you have your own private resort. Coffee every morning looking out at the ocean, listening to birds and watching dragonflies buzz by was so incredibly relaxing. We rented sea-do's down the beach, kayaked and paddle AND boogie boarded right in front of the house. Fish would swim between our legs and the kids saw a sting ray. There were no vendors bugging you on the beach, it's super mellow and GORGEOUS. White sand and clear water. Yoko set us up with a 4 wheel/canopy tour and everyone had a great time. So much so that the kids decided to go on a 4 wheeling guided tour later in the week to ride again. We swam in the pool for hours and took advantage of the kiddie pool to float because we have no little ones. I want to be floating right now! Read the house book that Lisa will provide front to back. Everything you need is in there. We cooked in the amazing kitchen, went to Angelina's for dinner (tried octopus and LOVED) and there were daily walks to Coco Loco's for a coco loco served in a coconut. YES! I want to write more and I'm being cut off so....JUST GO. We can't wait to return. Pura Vida!!"

"We based our visit to Costa Rica from this terrific condo that was about 100 steps from the amazing white sand beaches of Playa Flamingo. The pool is right in front of the condo's doors. There were good restaurants within walking distance but the grocery store was about 8km away - a bit too far to walk in the mid day heat! Rental cars and taxis are available nearby. Many local places between 2 and 10 km away in Potrero, Prieta, Brasilito...We will probably go back."

"Casa Miramar was a perfect place for our 2015 spring break! Our daughters had a blast! The house was spacious and very accomodating. We soaked up a lot of sun relaxing by the pool on the terrace while enjoying the magnificent view! It is an easy walk to the beach (Playa Flamingo) and good restaurants. Marta was a big help in the kitchen (her guacamole was awesome) and kept the place clean as did Donald with the pool and hot tub. Jonas with Adventours set us up on memorable adventures, ziplining through the jungle, riverboat/wildlife tours, and our favorite, the sunset cruise on a catamaran! Casa Miramar is a wonderful place for an unforgettable vacation!"
