Penthouse with fantasic views
"My husband and I plus our two teenage granddaughters spent the week of June 21, 2015 in this lovely unit. The first thing you see when you walk in is the view straight out the sliding glass doors. It overlooks the Flamingo Marina and beaches across the bay. The balcony is the width of the condo with table and chairs, 4 Costa Rica Rocking Chairs, BBQ grill and Kyak.
We could not get enough beautiful photos, especially at sunset! The two pools overlook Flamingo Beach . A full kitchen with all the amenities you need. The bedrooms are separated by the living room, one on each side. Each bedroom has it own bath which was very helpful with teenage girls. They had a bedroom with two queen beds that opened to the balcony and we had the master bedroom with a king bed that also opened to the balcony. There was a good supply of linens, beach towels, a small cooler, beach chairs, etc.
The top 4th floor offered beach ocean views. This condo also offered free membership to the Flamingo Resort which sits right on Flamingo Beach. You can walk to it in 5-10 minutes or drive in 2 minutes. They have a swim up pool bar, a small casino, a rec room, spa, exercise room, restaurant and steps to the ocean. Waiters were quick to wait on you and the pool bar was fun. The sand on Flamingo Beach is white and you can have a beach massage from the locals for $40.00 an hour. She actually took 1-1/2 hours with me. The rental price for this condo is a very good value. Probably the one hotel room at the Flamingo Beach is somewhere close to the price of the condo and you get so much more. TV's in all rooms, individual AC in each room, WiFi, Elevator, laundry room and exercise equipment on the bottom floor. The condos offer plenty of parking and security guard. It was very easy check in and check out. The owner's manager, Amaya, was super and very easy to reach with any questions or tours."

"The Adventure Starts Here. This place keeps getting better. We are currently booking for the 3rd time. Everything you want in a vacation house complete with private pool with jacuzzi jets on the ocean. Last time it had a new cabana by the pool. Now they have renovated and added a new bathroom with separate quarters. Vaulted ceiling in living area with an outdoor deck with spectacular sunsets. The staff is like part of our family. Jorge the on site mgr. sent me a e-mail the day before our arrival with complete weather and road report. He told me not to get 4 wheel drive. Saved me $25 a day. Booked a fabulous sunset sailing cruise that saved us $20 per person. Gave us his personal beach inflatables when the house ones needed repair. Truly, an awesome house and experience."

"We recently stayed at Playa Flamingo Villa 6 and it was as amazing as ever.
Easily the best beach in Costa Rica and no crowds. Hung out in the pool and drank the best booze and fruit drinks I have ever tasted. The staff is awesome and the room is modern and convenient. Most importantly it has everything you need pots, pans, silverware, etc. If you book a stay here you can do as much as you want ( zip line, water reft, etc. ) or as little as you like. It is a nice mix. Also you do not need a rental car.

"I enjoyed our stay at the Flamingo beach. The condo was beautifully outfitted and very comfortable, air conditioning was outstanding. Renee, the Condo manager, was very friendly and helpful, before and during the stay. Her recommendations of tour guides was most appreciated. The only fault I would bring up was the water pressure was terrible, This made showering and getting rid of the fine sand from the beach almost impossible. By the end of our stay I had sand in the bedding that I couldn't get rid off. In hindsight I should have contacted Renee but didn't. I am not sure if she could have helped but I am sure she would have tried. I think that the problem was with the entire complex as they were not watering any of the grass at the grounds even though sprinklers were present. This made the grounds somewhat brown and not as pretty as they could have been. Yes we were there during the dry season.
Although the Condo sleeps 4 it only had living room furniture and dining furniture for 2 which meant the balcony furniture had to be moved in for all of us, a party of 3, to be together. When I had booked the condo the prior pictures showed different furniture that would have actually accommodated 4 people. This was unfortunate as we were constantly moving chairs in and out.
The balcony over the bay was an oasis with the waves crashing against the shore most relaxing.
There are no grocery stores in walking distance of the condo other than a very overpriced convenience store so consider picking up your groceries on the way in if you do not have transportation. Our tour guides that we had on Renee's recommendation were always most helpful with stopping on the way back from a tour to pick up things at a larger grocery store."
