"The six of us ladies just got back from a week at the most beautiful beach. Our villa had a view that can never be outdone. We spent hours just sitting in the pool and on the large deck staring out at the Pacific Ocean. The location of the villa is second to none on that entire beach. And of course, thanks to house manager (Oli), we were able to do many truly memorable activities. Oli was able to set us up with great events and people, maximizing the entire Costa Rican experience. We all could not have been happier with the location, the view and the staff!!! Great time had by all."

  • What a beauty

"Thanks to Kai and Ruth ( sorry never met you!) we were on a whirl and Casa Linda Vista was Wonderful! You have an amazing piece of your own paradise Kai! You were hospitable inviting and warm! Wish we stayed the month but our 2 nights was all we could squeeze into our fantastic CR vaca! Love the walking paths and your foliage! Loved the comfortable house and the views! The upstairs deck was my go to when we were home...coffee in the am and sips of wine or cold refreshing water and tea in the eve! Easily hands down a winner! Walked and biked to the beach, ate at Rip Jacks, Bula Bula for cocktails and just down the driveway at El Heurto! Also managed a low tide bike ride from our beach area to Tamarindo ( with help from the local motor boats!) hung out pretty much at Nocuis while our kids biked around/swam/shopped and then we biked back via Frijoles locos suggestion of water taxi to Bula Bula! Biked the road from there! So fun! Live love be happy! That's life in Playa Grande"

  • Didn't Want to Leave EVER!!!!

"We booked a family vacation for my husband, my 13 year old daughter and myself at the Sea Shack. We had a great time here. The owner Anne was so very helpful in recommending restaurants, surfing lessons, beach visits, yoga and shopping. She made our trip easy and stress free. Thanks Anne!!!. The house is beautiful and exactly what we wanted for a true Costa Rica experience. We loved the outdoor area and kitchen and used it often. We are both Chef's and found the kitchen to be very well equipped. The pictures of the house are exactly what you get with the bonus of two great dogs to look after things while your away. The beautiful sandy beach is a pleasant 5 min walk from the house so we would go down early in the morning to catch the surfers and spend the first part of our day playing in the waves,. Then go down again at night for the most beautiful sunsets. Don't forget to cool off in the great salt water pool at the house. It's a great way to get out of the high sun and relax with a drink. People were friendly and helpful. The neighborhood is safe and well looked after. If your into yoga their are several options for classes within walking distance from the house. The Nosara Yoga Institute is a short walk down a jungle path and worth a visit even if your not going for a class. We had a great time here and didn't want to leave. I highly recommend a stay here, you will not be disappointed if your looking to get away from it all and live like a local for a while. Pura Vida!! We would go back for sure."

  • Excellent location and great property

"We stayed at Casa Verano from Dec 21 - 28 with our two young kids and the grand parents; there were six of us in total. The location was perfect; less than a 10 minute walk from the beach. Far enough away from all of the nightime noise (only noise coming from the American neighbours who played Christmas music all day). The house has all of the amenities needed; the pool was great to have when the sun was just too much at mid-day. Samara is an amazing city; people are so nice, and so laid back. A couple of things that I recommend are the Samara Trails tour (Alvaro is the best guide I've ever experienced); Samara Organics; Luv Burger (great vegan food, and best beer!); Oso Loco for movie nights, coffee and curry."
