  • Relaxed Vacationer

"Had a wonderful stay here. Close to the stores and restaurants, and you can hear the ocean while relaxing with a coffee outside in the morning! It's very easy to get used to chilling out in the pool every day when you return from exploring all the amazing things Costa Rica has to offer! The villa is a great place to stay, being comfortable, private and affordable. You can enjoy your vacation at your own pace, either preparing your own meals when you want or going to one of the various restaurants Playa del Coco has to offer. We will definately be back :)"

  • A Beautiful Condo, Stunning Views, and a Lovely Beach Town....What More Can You Ask For?!

"It was my first time in Costa Rica and I couldn't be happier with my choice!! Went down with a friend and we decided to stay at this condo. The owner of the place, Debbie, was excellent to work with and always got back to us promptly with any questions we had. As for the condo, itself...WOW. The first thing you'll notice is the amazing view! The floor to ceiling windows that overlook the Samara coast offer a stunning, picturesque view that is a delight to wake up to every morning. The condo itself has all the amenities you could ask for from cookware, to internet, to towels and pool floats. The infinity pool was probably one of the best features of the condo! There weren't many other residents around during our stay and on most evenings, after a day on the beach and walking around town, we would have the pool to ourselves and just enjoy the sunset. The condo is perfectly located about a 2 minute drive (10 min walk) outside of town and offers a nice isolated setting when you want to just come back and relax. As for the town of Samara, I feel its one of the best kept secrets of Costa Rica! The locals are really friendly and I could sit for HOURS on the beach by Gusto's restaurant while enjoying a delicious Desayuno Completo (a must have!) every morning. Overall it was AN AMAZING STAY!!! And this was largely in part to our choice of staying at this condo! Will definitely be back again!!!"

  • Flamingo Marvel

"My wife and I celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary while in Costa Rica for 2 weeks at this condo. This condo is relatively new with amazing views of Flamingo Beach. Our local contact, Willie, was excellent in answering all our questions via e-mail. He had a local phone number also but we did not have good cell reception so we just e-mailed. This location's internet router is not personally protected, but connectivity worked fine for us. The king size bed was very comfortable, but I can not attest to the queen bed in the 2nd BR as I did not sleep on it, but our guests said it was OK. The best thing about this particular condo is that you could walk down the hill to Flamingo Beach, go to the end of the buildings to its own pool, shower, and grill or walk 200 yards down the hill in another direction and use Flamingo Marina Resort's pool, swim-up bar, or restaurants. Great location, super views, and very convenient to restaurants, supermarkets, other beaches, and within 30 minutes to Tamarindo for the best shopping. There is shopping right there at Flamingo, but we like Tamarindo the best for shopping, but not for staying because of its hustle and bustle feel."

  • Pura Vida

"We had a wonderful stay here for a week at the beginning and end of our stay in Costa Rica. The sunsets were great every night and there is nothing more peaceful than to sit outside, overlooking the ocean and beach on the north, and listen to the birds and the odd chorus from the howler monkeys. We had no vehicle and didn't need it, but that did require walking up the short, but relatively steep, dusty road from town, often in the heat of the day. But the AC was a welcome relief at the end of the walk. We were without internet for the first few days, but other than that, no complaints. The only drawback for me were all the people hawking the same things on the beach. Too much like Mexico. You get tired of saying no every 10 minutes. We had a great time on the sunset sail and recommend that for a nice afternoon, but do not expect too much from the snorkeling."
