"We spent 4 weeks in the sun enjoying the local Nosara food, people, and two stunning beaches and sightseeing up and down the coast and central Costa Rica. Casa Ventana is ideally located between the touristy area and the local downtown providing a mix of all we wanted to do. We loved listening to the Howler monkies while drinking coffee on the porch early in the mornings and again while drinking martinis on the porch late afternoon. We would recommend renting a car at the airport but be prepared for the inescapable, high rental insurance costs."

"I have rented this house for extended times (approximately 5 months total) during 3 different trips since 2013. It sits in a comfortable small neighborhood of foreign nationals and with native Costa Rican houses mixed in on the outskirts of the neighborhood. Its location is a 20 minute walk to an undeveloped part of Playa Samara or a 5 minute drive to Samara's restaurants and shops. The property location also allows for a 10 minute drive to the beautiful undeveloped Playa Carrillo. It comes as advertised and is ideal for simple vacationing at an affordable price.
A great feature of the house is the elevated patio to enjoy simple entertaining , watching wild life in the yard or enjoying the view. It is very interesting watching the living habits of the multiple bird species and iguanas in the yard. Bring your binoculars! Occasionally you can view howler monkeys and you certainly hear them during multiple parts of the days. The favorite parts of staying here occur out on the patio watching wildlife , enjoying early morning breakfast and the evening to view the night sky or watch storms.
I would recommend this house to anyone that is looking for a reasonably priced , comfortable , fully equipped rental. In my 3 years coming here it is my first choice in the area when looking for an affordable , air conditioned house with a pool. The owners, Peter and Maggie, have been very accommodating and responsive. They provide local property management if you require immediate assistance."

"Our stay was truly one-of-a-kind! The views from the Diria were incredible. The units provided everything we could have needed. The staff took great care of us. We are forever grateful for the great cleaning service they provided - clean fresh towels, neatly-made beds, and clean dishes. The really took care of us, to ensure we had a great stay. One of our friends organized a trip for using Blue Water and our trip was seamless. Tony took great care of us and made this one of the most memorable trips ever! We will definitely be coming back and asking for Tony again. He was so attentive and provided a great experience for us in Tamarindo. He went above and beyond his work and we are truly grateful for his hospitality. With such a big group i was worried about how our activities would play out, but he was able to accomodated all of our needs. I highly recommend staying at the Diria, the views alone are remarkable, and using Blue Water (ask for Tony)!"

"We stayed at Casa Sullo for two weeks from March 1 to 15, 2015. It is going to be difficult to cover a 14 day stay in a short report for others to read in a few moments. The house is in an ideal location. It sits on a hillside overlooking Lake Arenal. The view from the rear deck is an evening paradise. We spent most evenings sitting there for an hour before sunset enjoying the view and wild life that would drop by for us to see. We had Toucan birds on five different evenings, a howler monkey one evening for an hour before sunset until he settled in for a night’s sleep just above our heads. There are so many different birds that we will never identify all the species.
We did day trips from the house to see a coffee plantation, Hermosa Beach, La Fortuna, Town of Arenal, Frog Hall, Tilaran and a weekend trip to San Jose. The location of Casa Sullo works well for easy trips to many sights in west central Costa Rica. The Puerto San Luis club restaurant is a few hundred feet away and San Jose is a 3 and a half hour drive. Super Market is 15 minutes to Tilaran. The property manager is a phone call away, and if needed is very responsive. She even invited us into her home to see a sloth sleeping in a tree outside her living room. The local people are very friendly and helpful. We never felt that we were anything but secure and welcome.
Casa Sullo is a fully furnished, comfortable two bedroom home. The grounds are lush, and fun to explore. Since we have returned home some of our friends have asked if we would go back again in the future. I answer, absolutely; we have already begun a savings account for just that.
By the way, Pat, the owner, provided a lot of helpful information on what to do and see in the area. He spent a great amount of time on the phone with us before our trip. His guidance was accurate, timely and helpful. Our take away from the whole experience is a warm and peaceful joy for the country, the home, and the wonderful friends that we made in a two week adventure that makes us want to go back. WOW!"
