"My husband and I and our three young adult children (ages 18, 21 and 23) had a wonderful vacation in this lovely home. The unit is very spacious, beautifully decorated and maintained. We especially enjoyed having the three bedrooms upstairs and living area downstairs so people could sleep late and not be disturbed. The balcony is so comfortable and we spent countless hours outside reading and enjoying the spectacular sunsets. Melissa, the personal concierge, was terrific. She made all our arrangements (airport shuttle, car rental, fishing trip and catamaran sail) with quality tour operators and was very helpful answering any questions. Playa Conchal is a lovely white sand beach and we loved having the workout room, pool and restaurant at the Beach Club. Reserva Conchal is a beautifully landscaped, quiet and secure and the town of Brasilito had many good restaurant options. It really was paradise and we can't wait to come back next year!"

"My wife and spent 2 outstanding weeks here. The condo was just like home, had everything we needed and the ice maker was used a lot. Lots of room and very peaceful. Will definitely stay here again, looking now at next year. Had only one issue with the internet and after contacting Rita, they were out and had it fixed within 2 hours, very impressed with the service.
We were only woken up two morning by the howler monkeys, they sound like dogs howling, its loud. The walk to the beach is really 2 1/2 minutes about 250 meters, closer than some of the resorts we have been at. We rented a car and visited 7 different beaches in the area, so this condo is very well situated for traveling around. There is some excellent restaurants in the area, El Hurto has outstanding pizza and the Café del Pueblo has a Mahi Mahi in shrimp sauce that is to die for.

"We stayed at Ibis #8 for 2 weeks, from Jan 4-18th. As other reviewers have pointed out, the unit itself is very well appointed with high-end appliances, sturdy furniture and all of the modern conveniences one would expect from an upscale condo. The condo itself does not have any amenities onsite (pool, gym, etc.) - these are located directly across the street at the Langosta Beach Club. Ibis guests have full access; the club is also features one of the nicer restaurants in the area. This is the quieter, more scenic section of Tamarindo beach, which may appeal to those seeking a slower pace.
Sebastian (the concierge) was very friendly and approachable. He always greeted us with a warm smile and was great with our kids. Bob handled a few issues that came up and he took care of them promptly. The security/groundskeepers/housekeepers were all very friendly and helpful. One of them kindly fixed a broken strap on our luggage, which we really appreciated. The crew at the Langosta Beach Club were also very fun and energetic.
Some might find the location a bit remote (you will need to drive or walk 5-7 mins to get to Tamarindo, down a busy dirt road with no sidewalks) but we liked the fact that it was quiet and relatively secluded. We were a bit disappointed with the dust and road noise that came from the adjacent Langosta Road. Apparently a paving project is imminent, so the dust issue may be addressed soon. Nevertheless, if you are a light sleeper, I would suggest looking for a unit facing the rear of the building, which faces the Tamarindo Preserve.
The unit boasts comfy beds, a pull-out sofa sleeper, nice plumbing fixtures, tasteful decorating, modern appliances and three separate decks. The WiFi is not particularly strong - barely enough for Netflix, fine for e-mail and social networking. There is no VoIP line in the unit, so you will need to rely on mobile or Skype for making calls.
Overall, this unit served us well and we were not disappointed. We would recommend it to others, seeking a quieter location in an small & modern building."

"My family of 5 adults stayed at Pacifico and we greatly enjoyed the condo and the community experience. The condo is decorated beautifully, the furniture is comfortable and allowed for plenty of space for our family. The Pacifico grounds are beautiful, exceptionally groomed and clean. The round the clock security made us feel even more safe and secure. The condo is equipped with everything you could possibly need during your stay. The washer and dry was a plus since we were on our last leg of our Costa Rica experience.
Pacifico has 2 pools, one that offers poolside service. They even provide food delivery to your home if needed.
The condo is walking distance to the beach, stores, restaurants and to the Pacifico Beach rsort. Please don't pass on an opportunity to stay at Pacifico -- its worth every penny!"
