  • A bit of paradise at Villa Veranara

"Our one month stay in Samara, Costa Rica was outstanding. Our villa with the infinity pool was breath taking. Our hosts were so wonderful and eager to help us in any form. Their friendship and caring was very much appreciated. Introducing us and including us when they entertained their friends was amazing. Our one bedroom appartment was exceptional and the balcony overlooking the ocean could not be beaten. Exceptionally clean and very safe. You can walk to the beach but it is all uphill coming back, therefore on our next visit we will rent a car. A first class accommodation with first class hosts. We thank you both for sharing your beautiful home, your time, your friends and little Meisha their dog and Lyle their cat. We felt very much at home thanks to them. We will definitely be back. We highly recommend this villa"

  • Stunning

"We spent a week at villa Casa de la Cascada as we were a group of 12 people and one baby. The house was beyond our expectations! The view is stunning and the house is comfortable and well maintained. We booked three activities and had a cook prepare meals for us twice a day. The activities were: 1. Deep Sea Fishing 2. Hiking in Ricon de la Vieja 3. Snorkeling The management communicated with us well before our arrival and made sure to respond to all our requests. They booked transportation to and from the airport which allowed is to feel safe on our arrival. Special thanks to all the staff including the maid and gardener!"

  • Spacious for Sure and the View is Stunning

"Really enjoyed our nine nights at Casa Colinas. Private areas make for a comfortable place to host friends, as we did. The pool area is beautiful, attended by a huge, mellow iguana and a friendly young monkey one morning. As mentioned in other reviews, Eric is very attentive and having Yohanna come and cook was an excellent experience. Dennis was extremely accommodating with our arrangements. Maybe because the house is so large, it was not quite and clean upon arrival as one might like, as I repostioned the TV and the floor thee was a bit of a mess. We also hosted a minor invasion of fire ants and a scorpion. We took these in stride. We would not want to have heard that major pesticides were applied, so taking care of these was no problem. This can occur anywhere in CR. There are 24 hour security patrols and the gate attendants seem cheerful. The dramatic entry foyer is a huge solar furnace which caused us to use AC more than we would have otherwise. Could use at least one sharp knife in kitchen. Be aware that the location is on a steep hill, which is a long, arduous walk from the Hermosa beach, but a short drive. If you have 4x4 absolutely do not miss nearby beach Playa Penca, which has white Caribbean-like sand, aqua water and nice snorkeling. Recommended."

  • Repeat customer

"Love this property! Very comfortable and well-appointed condo. Fabulous view and constant breeze. Lots of places to go for walks and bird watch. Walking distance to three beaches if you are in good shape to do a few hills. I particularly enjoyed walking through the villages and into the back hills - very peaceful and safe. Close proximity to many other beaches and particularly liked Bueno Beach, right beside Papagayo Beach Hotel. Favourite restaurants are Le Coq, Ocotal Hotel & Father Rooster. A car is necessary to reach other towns & National Parks, as well as doing grocery shopping."
