  • Great place to stay

"My sons and I had a great stay at Casa Punta Vista. We loved the pool, it is a nice size and has a great view, any time of the day. Watching the stars at night was phenomenal. The pictures are accurate. The management company were very helpful with the house as well as setting up activities. Small maintenance issues were dealt with promptly. A car is a must. The roads in this area are quite an adventure. We did drive to south to Somara and north to several of the beaches. Playa Ponies was a great place for a horseback ride, Miss Sky zipline was a lot of fun and the Nosara River cruise was very informative for bird watching. This was a great getaway from the -20 degree F temperatures and deep snow we left behind!"

  • Heaven on the beach

"Nosara and Casa De Memphis was the ideal ending destination for a 2 week tour of Costa Rica with my wife and kids. Having spent over a week in LaFotuna and Monteverde, we were looking for a relaxing few days on the Pacific coast at a comfortable home. We hit the jackpot with Casa De Memphis. The home was well furnished, including one of the best kitchens of any VRBO home in which we've stayed, owner and manager who were very communicative and responsive and a killer location. The house is 100 yards from a postcard perfect private beach that can rival any beach we've been to on the east or west coast of the U.S. And the town of Nosara was fantastic. It's 'costa rica rural', filled with expats, vacationers and surfers all tickled to have found their nirvana. Tons of outdoor activities, lots of casual but great restaurants, and an ideal spot to 'just do nothing.' Knowing what we now know, we would have come earlier and stayed later at Casa De Memphis. If you are looking for the quintessential Pacific Coast Costa Rica experience, you need not look any further. You won't do better than this rental in Nosara."

  • A Little Piece of Paradise

"We loved staying at the Beach House. Paige was so much help, giving us suggestions of restaurants and activities in the area. It was such a quick walk to a great beach to enjoy the sunsets. Enduardo was very responsive to any issues we had and also helped me with the phone number for the Sibu Wildlife Sancturary. Vicki & Steve Coan, who operate Sibu, are amazing people. They rescue and rehabilitate baby monkeys who are orphaned raise them to be released back into the wild. Most of the babies were orpaned when their mother's were electricuted on the uninsulated power lines & transformers. Vicki is also working with the electrical utility company to try to get these insulated. It is only a 15 minute drive from the house, just past Santa Marta. Even if you can't go there, they have a website where you can see the babies and make a donation, if you would like to. The Nosara area is so much better than being in a busy tourist area. The rough dirt roads are well worth it to stay there. I would definitely recommend it to our friends!"

  • Tough to beat this property at any price!!

"We travelled with 3 families, 6 adults and 7 kids ranging in ages from 12 – 16. Our Hosts, David and Edie, were very accommodating during the planning process. They have extensive “lifestyle” experience in Nosara and coordinated all activities including surf lessons, zip-lining, snorkeling, fishing, etc. Even fronting deposits and grocery money to make sure we had supplies when we arrived. The “Jungle’s Edge” property is quite unique. The main house is spacious, relatively updated and well-maintained. The pool and outside living space is the greatest asset of the property. There are lots of bedrooms- a huge primary master, another that can be considered a master, 2 more with queen beds that share a fairly small bathroom, a large loft with 2 bunkbeds and another room with queen and bunkbeds and it's own bathroom. A walk out the front door offers a close up view to the Howler Monkeys. Would strongly recommend hiring cooks for your group. Shopping for groceries is not an easy effort and kitchen cleanup is best handled by them, especially with no dishwasher. The food that was prepared was very good but a little more variety and less effort on our part to coordinate would have made the meal experience much better. When David is not around to translate, it made communicating a little tough. We did not rent cars, but had them arrange taxis from the airport. Transportation once we arrived, is relatively well managed. There are 2 vehicles available, an SUV and a large pickup truck with bench seating in the cargo area for up to 10 people. David and Manuel are available most of the time, but its best to plan your activities at least a ½ day in advance. There is a nominal charge for transportation. Playa Guiones, is great spot for surfing and sunsets. Although you can walk there, estimate about 20 -25 minutes. Carrying surfboards, chairs ( which are all available on property for a small rental fee) etc. is best done with vehicles. You can easily walk to a very good restaurant, located at the base of the property. Don't miss Olgas for sunset and dinner on the beach. There is also a fitness studio at the bottom of the property- make sure to arrange workouts with Davis- he is amazing and the kids loved their tailored workouts. Pamper yourselves with massages on the deck of the house. Everyone at Jungles Edge was very pleasant and attentive to our needs. The more advanced planning you do with David, the smoother your trip will be!"

Nosara Travel Tips

Northwest Central America at Nosara Beach Rentals

For a trip into Central America, consider the Guanacaste Province of Costa Rica by renting Nosara beach rentals. Norsara, Costa Rica is located in the Nicoya Canton in the northwest. These Nosara resorts offer a little something for everyone on vacations in Costa Rica. Development of the beach is almost non-existent due to the Ostional Wildlife Refuge.

Ostional Wildlife Refuge near Nosara Resorts

The Ostional Wildlife Refuge was constructed to protect Olive Ridley and Leatherback sea turtle breeding ground. Vacations in Costa Rica can be limited during breeding season with beach closures, but do not worry as there are still plenty of places for surfing or other water sports along the beaches of Guanacaste Province. Nosara resorts can help you set up a scuba diving adventure that leaves from a marina rather than the beach, so that the turtles can remain undisturbed. Fishing tours are also available when you stay at Nosara beach rentals.

Vacations in Costa Rica for Yoga Enthusiasts

Vacations in Costa Rica to Nosara will put you in the heart of yoga education. One of the most famous yoga schools is located in Nosara, just a few minutes from Nosara resorts. Think about waking up to the sunrise in the east, as you sit on the beach facing the Pacific Ocean for your yoga workout.

Handicrafts of Nosara Beach Rentals

Downtown Nosara is a great place to spend the day for anyone who loves to shop. In the town, you have the market, pharmacy, churches, school, library, and many historical buildings. For those who love to shop, the market or retail shops that sell trinkets to remember Costa Rica are available. Bring home handicrafts, woven rugs, or tee-shirts to remember your time spent at Nosara beach rentals. Once you have gotten in all the shopping at the market you could want, head back to your accommodations for a home-cooked meal with fresh fruits and vegetables.
