"My husband and I enjoyed a week at Ron and Gail's lovely home away from home after two weeks of traveling through Panama and the interior of Costa Rica. Ending up Beachside was the icing on the cake. The unit was perfect for us as it blended so well into the natural beauty of the area. The variety of wildlife right outside the door was astounding. We enjoyed the company of a large family of Howler Monkeys the second evening we were there from inside the screened porch for the better part of an hour. Every comfort and convenience was provided for within this unit that was necessary to relax in paradise. Everyone we met everywhere we went was kind and welcoming. I cannot say enough good things about the Management Team and the Security. It was truly one of the happiest places we have ever been. Thank you Ron and Gail for sharing with us. All of your travel tips were greatly appreciated and helped make this the vacation we really needed and thoroughly enjoyed. We hope to be back very soon for some more Pura Vida."

  • Amazing Villa!!

"We just returned to MN after spending 7 nights at the Flying V Villa. The villa was beautiful! After a full day of travel, customs and dealing with renting a car, we were welcomed to the villa with a care package. We really appreciated all of the information on local restaurants, shopping, activities, etc that Verda had emailed to us and was also waiting for us at the villa. We snorkeled almost every day - what a treat! Fishing with Raffeal, George and Freddy was great too - we caught several black fin tuna and a couple of Rooster Fish (50+ lbs each). The Adventure Tour is a must. There was everything we needed in the villa to cook many of our meals. However, we also enjoyed dinner and snacks at the Picante. I can honestly say that I had tears in my eyes when leaving the villa and saying goodbye to Ceasar and Jackie. If we ever make it back to Costa Rica - this is where we will stay!"

  • Great Stay!

"My family (brother, brother’s fiancée, father) and myself went to Costa Rica for vacation. After spending some time in the rainforest we headed to the beach. We stayed in villa 19 at Los Almendros and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The views out the back of the villa were amazing, overlooking the water. The villa was clean and modern and air conditioned – which after days in the jungle, hot and wet, being cool and dry was wonderful! The villa is well stocked with entertainment choices (flat screen tv, wifi, computer, books, movies etc.) in case you need some time inside. The kitchen is ready to cook in and easy to find items in – always a plus. There were also lots of little things to make your stay nicer like plenty of towels, a hairdryer, safe, and access to the washer and dryer. All the pillows and beds were comfortable and everyone in our group was comfortable temperature wise since each room had its own A/C unit. The sound of crashing waves lulled us to sleep every night. A few steps down from the villa is the sparkling pool, complete with lounging hammocks under shades. Just a bit further down the hill is the main entrance where you’ll find security and the dive shop. If you continue walking from there you’ll find yourself at Father Rooster’s (a restaurant and bar) on the beach. It’s probably about a 5 minute walk from the back door of the villa to the beach. A short drive down the road is Playas del Coco where you will find tourist shops, dive shops, restaurants, the grocery store etc. It’s a very short drive. We did scuba from Coco, we saw sharks, a ray, tons of fish and generally had a great time. I would highly recommend this villa as a base of operations for your costal explorations in Costa Rica!"

  • Villas Las Olas

"Overall good experience. Friendly and helpful agents. Wished layout of place was better as no living area on first floor; not very open. Beautiful view 2nd floor. Biggest issue and danger is the steep entrance to driveway/ garage; scraped bumper few times. Problems with shower temperatures and water pressure, but willing to have it fixed. Miss heat in hot tub/ jacuzzi. Main reason we stayed here was access to beach and fair price. Must do Rincon La Vieja Volcano Tour recommended by owners; best deal ever!"
