"My family (four kids ages 14-4) stayed here for the month of June. We absolutely LOVED it! What a great house in a beautiful location! It is quiet and secluded which is just what we wanted during our stay. It was within an hour drive of some great places to visit (Tamarindo to the north and Nosara to the south which are both fun places to visit but I was glad we weren't staying there - too touristy for us). There are plenty of great beaches in-between.
The home itself is clean and comfortable. Well equipped and furnished with everything you would need. The kitchen had everything we needed to make meals (since we were there for a month we made most of our meals at home). Bridget (the home owner) and Mario (the property manager) put us in contact with a local fisherman so we had fresh fish which we prepared. It was delicious. We spent hours in the pool - it was always the perfect temperature an so refreshing.
Bridget (and Tom) are a pleasure to work with - so kind and responsive. We met Bridget while we were there and she is a lovely person. Such a pleasure to meet her!
The property manager is fantastic. He understands a lot of English and helped us with our Spanish immensely. If we had a question about the property or the surrounding area he was able to answer all our questions.
I would HIGHLY recommend staying here without any reservations. We LOVED it!"

"We had an amazing experience from beginning to end at Casa Ostional. The views from the house were spectacular. We were looking for a real jungle experience – and that’s exactly what we got at Casa Ostional.
We opted for the meals and the driver/guide. Both of these options were amazing and an absolute must. Carlos, Erica, and Daniel prepared amazing food – and kept the house (inside and out) beautiful. They are all so friendly and giving. Carlos, Erica, and Daniel really made the already amazing experience, even better.
Now for Elias - driver/guide. He is way more than a driver/tour guide. He was the heart of the trip for us. He is so knowledgeable about the area and the people, and he bent over backwards to make sure we had the best time possible. He set up the best local tours, and brought us to the best local beaches (that weren’t crowded), and made sure we saw as many howler monkeys as possible (which was very important for my 6 and 9 year old). We can not say enough about Casa Ostional, Elias, Erica, Carlos, and Daniel. This was an absolute trip of a lifetime for us – and we were not disappointed.
If you’re looking for an amazingly real, Costa Rican experience – this is the place for you. We had a blast! Thank you to everyone at Casa Ostional."

"Awesome home with easy access to the sand beach and beautiful sunsets. Safe and close to town however, you will want to drive, it is too far to walk. Pool is perfect size and bedrooms and bathrooms are huge. Beds are good. If you are looking for privacy, maybe not your place, neighbors are close and always outside doing something. Also lots of dogs, but we loved having them. Management was awesome and Randy the owner is a pleasure.
Will definitely return to this paradise and I highly recommend."

"Well appointed condo and very spacious. Great communication from the owner and support staff.
The best feature was the great view of the surf which was endless. We visited at the end of the rainy season and so there was an incredible thunder and lightning show practically every evening.
The condo was clean and well maintained. The lap pool in front was a great spot to cool off in the evening.
While close to Tamerindo, one section of the road was in poor shape and would make for a difficult stroll (muddy) to the restaurants.
You will have to walk a bit to get to a swimming area as the beach in front of the condo is fronted by a rocky area and the surf there is constant. The beach by the estuary is quite nice as is the beach in Tamerindo so there are loads of options.
We definitely recommend this property."
