  • Breathtaking, exceptional view and top notch service.

"We ( group of 8) arrived on Dec 12th with very high expectations, only to find ourselves speechless as everything we saw and experienced exceeded our expectations. The view from the villa was breathtaking, the open living area awesome, spectacular pool and very comfortable bedrooms. The service we received was wonderful and gracious. The entire staff ( Jose Luis the chef, Mario Jose the caretaker, Erica and Gerly housekeeping) under Isabel Zungia's supervision and guidance was top notch, always smiling and willing to attend to you anytime. Would recommend Villa Vista De Oro to all our family and friends."

  • Nice location

"The location of the condo to town and the beach was great. It's far enough from the noise of the town, yet close enough the 5 minute walk doesn't make you feel you are missing a thing. I suggest you walk the beach to get to town, it's just as quick but more enjoyable. Beach access is right across the street. Making breakfast and walking over to enjoy the morning surfers and the waves was nice. Although we didn't take full advantage of the clubhouse, it appeared other families did, and they were happy with the activities offered. Security at the condo were very nice and helpful. The concierge, Sebastian, was great. He always had an idea/place to go/adventure to take/solution to a problem. Don't hesitate reaching out to him. The condo was nice. We were greeted by the local land crabs upon arrival, made us all laugh. They are harmless and more than happy to be put back outside. The space in the condo was plenty for three. There was ample closet room for bags and clothes. And having the washer and dryer in the unit was great. All in all, we enjoyed our stay in Tamarindo. The only hiccup we had at the condo was the internet. If you need/want it, be sure to verify it is working. I'd recommend the condo for groups and families. The access to town and the beach are both great, and the security and concierge make for pleasant interaction as you come and go."

  • Fantastic Experience

"This was our 2nd trip to Costa Rica, but this time we brought along my mother in law (77 years old) and two boys (2 years old and 18 years old). The property was amazing with fantastically decorated rooms and unbelievable views. Candace was very helpful when working with us to plan the perfect experience for our family. Velma greeted us each morning with a fantastic breakfast and steaming hot coffee. Alex took us on horseback rides through the rainforest which included the Macadamia Nut Farm. This house was built to provide for large families or groups, but cozy enough for our party of 5. This home is the perfect vacation spot for anyone wishing to experience Costa Rica since it is so convenient to Nuevo Arenal (my most favorite town in Costa Rica!!!), zip line adventures, Arenal Hanging Bridges, Eco Termales, ect. We had a fantastic time!!! :)"

  • The best way to see Costa Rica!

"We began our trip to Costa Rica at an all-inclusive resort in Guanacaste. While nice, we felt like we could have been anywhere (even the U.S.) and we really wanted to experience Costa Rica. I was so glad we chose to stay at Estrella Del Mar for the second half of our trip. We really got the feeling that we were in another country complete with a rain forest with the perfect beach. What a beautiful and very comfortable home. We loved interacting with Fresia and her family and she prepared the best Costa Rican breakfast our second morning there - gorgeous local fruit, eggs, the most delicious coffee and gallo pinto. We sat on the patio and listened to the monkeys. What a perfect Costa Rican experience!!"
