  • Fantastic!

"My husband and I and our three young adult children (ages 18, 21 and 23) had a wonderful vacation in this lovely home. The unit is very spacious, beautifully decorated and maintained. We especially enjoyed having the three bedrooms upstairs and living area downstairs so people could sleep late and not be disturbed. The balcony is so comfortable and we spent countless hours outside reading and enjoying the spectacular sunsets. Melissa, the personal concierge, was terrific. She made all our arrangements (airport shuttle, car rental, fishing trip and catamaran sail) with quality tour operators and was very helpful answering any questions. Playa Conchal is a lovely white sand beach and we loved having the workout room, pool and restaurant at the Beach Club. Reserva Conchal is a beautifully landscaped, quiet and secure and the town of Brasilito had many good restaurant options. It really was paradise and we can't wait to come back next year!"

  • Pure Life- Pure Vida

"The Costa Rican experience is Pure Vida! Upon arriving at the Liberia airport you feel the warm breeze and see the green all around you and your shoulders relax. You immediately unwind. We rented a car at Economy off site the airport. We would suggest you hire a driver to take you to Playa Conchal and rent your car from Ecomony at the Reserva Conchal office. The roads are dark and semi dangerous due to people walking and riding bikes on the roads. Upon arriving to our location the grounds and golf course are immaculate. The condo is well kept and very clean. The ocean views and sunsets amazing. The Westin Hotel is on the same property so the Reserva Conchal guests may use their Beach club and facilities. We enjoyed those facilities daily about a 5 min drive from the condo, little to far to walk back and forth. In our party of six we had age groups of teens, 20's and 50's. The condo sleeps six very comfortably , the markets are close by to stock up frig. We cooked daily. We had breakfast and serveral dinners in the condo, plenty of kitchen tools avail. We found eating out nightly could be very costly for a large party. The river tour was fantastic , plenty of monkeys and crocodilias to see. Our favorite adventure was the mega tour from Hacienda. We drove ourselves to the Hacienda Inn about and 1 1/2 hour away each way from condo. You can stay the night or just play for the day. We made it a day trip left at 6:00am returned around 8:00pm. Cost per person during this season was $85.00 per person included horseback riding, water rafting , lunch, fantastic zip lining with the grand finale of the hot springs and mud baths finished with a cool rinse . We were total noodles after and enjoyed American Pizza from Papa Johns on our way back to a Playa Conchal. If your looking for a Sunday Christian service , stop in for a visit at Community Beach Church up the street from the condo. Very small congregation led by retired Americans with a splash of locals. Sit under the grass roof and be inspired with the word and worship. We gave the church our unused food the day before we left. Wonderful surfing , shopping and eating , Tamarindo. Favorite restaurant The Coconut owned by a lovely Norwegian lady. Fairly priced , known for their seafood. Be careful of street and beach vendors trying to sell you their wares. Best not to make eye contact and keep walking. All in all this vacation was a 9, and 10 if we had someone else cook and clean daily! Wonderful time !"

  • Fantastic

"Incredible property - great for large families or groups. The 3 separate suites were perfect for the couples in our group. Support staff were very responsive (Mario is an great asset!). Playa Minas, Conchal easily accessible, (3-5 minutes by car) & are wonderfully secluded. Minas rarely has any people on it so it was like having a private beach. The house is simply lovely, well designed, well built, very comfortable. Close to Tamarindo (15 min. by car) which makes shopping easy. Nice to be able to run into town but then return to the relative seclusion of Brisas. Great views, great house for a party.....Pura Vida Yall!"

  • Awesome Costa Rica Stay!!

"My family was thrown into turmoil when our vacation rental in another nearby beach community didn't work out. We scoured VRBO and this one turned up! Sandra was wonderful to work with and was VERY attentive to getting us in touch with the property manager to arrange everything on such short notice. We were thrilled to learn it was on such a beautiful beach and offered privacy and serenity. Initially we were surprised how "off the beaten path" it was (you'd definitely want a car), but it turned out to be a GOOD thing..we stocked up in the nearby town for groceries, made our breakfasts and headed out for our lunches and dinners. We were exhausted by the time we returned at 8pm and just wanted a nice peaceful A/C place to hang out! It was luxurious! The Wi-fi worked great, the community was gated, the granite countertops and hot water were both bonuses to us based on our other accommodations! I'm an avid walker and I walked the beach every morning. It's a 10 minute walk down a charming dirt road, and on the way I saw a family of monkeys, roosters, and at the end is a cool local restaurant that services that end of Playa Conchal. The only development on Playa Conchal is the Westin, so you know it has to be a special beach!! I walked 1 hour north on the beach and had to turn around because I was tired! That never happens!! The beds and linens were super comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. We were able to cook and season our freshly caught fish for dinner one night! The pool was also great; it was refreshing with a fabulous view. We would definitely (and probably will!) stay again. Besides Playa Conchal, we visited Tamarindo, a fun town 25 minutes to the south, and played in the waves at Playa Flamingo, 20 minutes to the north. We also went to a nearby beach Playa Mina to look for nesting sea turtles at night. My daughter and I rode horses on the beach and it was arranged at that local little restaurant. Our trip couldn't have been better!"
