"I wish I could give 10 stars. The condo is beautiful! Large living space opening up to a balcony with amazing views. Starting every morning sitting outside listening to the monkeys and birds while drinking coffee was one reason we came to Costa Rica. The concierge was very helpful with suggestions and setting up excursions so that we were able to do everything we wanted during our stay. Definitely rent the golf cart-super fun to drive and allowed getting to all the places: beaches, burger shack, marina, beach club, etc., with ease. Highly recommend."

"Gato Cansado is a tiny bungalow at the top of a hill in K Section. It's a 15 minute walk to the surf. Small and cozy, this Casita was perfectly functional for my wife and me. If you are looking for luxury, this is not your place. If you have simple tastes you will love it. The fence around the property gives you privacy and the cottage is bordered on three sides by forest, so you will see some wildlife. You’ll have neighbors are close by on one side and you can hear their conversations as they sit by their pool. Gato Cansado’s small soaking pool is refreshing after walking up the steep hill from the beach. We did not contract for the AC, preferring to enjoy the Costa Rican heat after a long, cold New England winter. If you want to go out for dinner you will need some type of transportation.
Virginie, the property manager, was responsive and sweet and made our trip hassle free. We would have no hesitation renting Gato Cansado again."

"Great little townhouse in beautiful garden with nice pool. The condo had excellent air conditioning (necessary in April!), a lovely patio and simple but nice decor. A few things need repair, such as random holes in the wall and noisy toilets. But that said, it's overall a wonderful clean option at an affordable price and in a great location: very close to the south entrance of the beach and the yoga Institute with its wonderful juice bar and great yoga classes. The kitchen was perfect. We loved that it felt safe too. Also Francinny is especially helpful and nice - so responsive and a wonderful resource. She recommended restaurants for us that were incredible, eg., La Luna. We loved our time in Nosara!"

"Awesome home with easy access to the sand beach and beautiful sunsets. Safe and close to town however, you will want to drive, it is too far to walk. Pool is perfect size and bedrooms and bathrooms are huge. Beds are good. If you are looking for privacy, maybe not your place, neighbors are close and always outside doing something. Also lots of dogs, but we loved having them. Management was awesome and Randy the owner is a pleasure.
Will definitely return to this paradise and I highly recommend."
