  • Five stars is not enough!!

"We come to Costa Rica every year and this was the best trip yet! Casa de Vre was perfect in every way! The staff, Zulma, Randi, And David, provided us with every convenience from delicious meals prepared by Zulma ; coconut water from Randi; the security provided from dusk to dawn by David! The booking agent, Leanna, was very helpful. She was easy to get ahold of and always returned my calls. They are the sweetest, kindest people and we were in tears saying good-bye! The location is amazing! The beach is directly in front of the house. You almost feel like you're dreaming when you wake up to that spectacular view every morning! Having the beautiful infinity pool was a real bonus! I definitely would recommend staying at Casa de Vre. And I definitely will be staying there again!"

  • Absolutely PERFECT!

"Twelve of us stayed here for seven nights. We ranged in age from 17-59. Everyone had a fantastic time for several reasons: 1. The house is perfect for enjoying outdoor living in Costa Rica. The beach, the pool and the outdoor seating areas were perfect for lazy days on Playa Grande. If you like camping and resorting, this place will be a slice of heaven for you! 2. The location is perfect. You are close enough to get to Tamarindo easily, but you feel worlds away. Most of the time we had the beach to ourselves! If you like surfing or boogie boarding, it is perfect. Experienced and novice surfers will love it. We were able to stroll down the beach at night too, which was delightful under a full moon. 3. The FOOD experience. Nova bought our food for us, and Ana did all the cooking and cleaning up. What a treat!! The best part is that Ana is an EXCELLENT cook. I would come back here just for that. We went out to eat twice and regretted it both times. We all sat around and said, "Ana could do this SO much better!" Thank you Casa Velas for an absolutely magical vacation. It's going to be hard to beat this one!"

  • Awesome Beach

"The home exceeded our expectations as did the beach. We have stayed at many different beaches and this was our favorite...sand for miles, warm water, water depth and waves excellent for anyone and we felt very safe. Safe at the beach and at the house. The owners (and definitely don't forget Wilbert and Wil-Mart and Manfred the baker) were very gracious, warm, caring folks that did all they could to make our stay comfortable and memorable. The house was extremely clean and comfortable. It was great next to the beach and the pool was enjoyed by all. We felt very safe (was traveling with my children) and just "felt at home" - granted it was a lot warmer there than in Montana at the time. Loved and would stay again for sure."

  • COULDSTAY4EVER

"My husband and our 2 teenage daughters spent a week at the beach bungalow. We absolutely loved it. We found the bungalow to be very comfortable and truly enjoyed the simplicity of the location. SURF, SURF, SURF! The owner of the property came by to educate us on the home and surroundings which was very helpful. We requested a grill and she dropped one by later. She even called a couple days into our stay to check up on us. We have rented several homes throughout the years and this has never happened. My only recommendation would be to add a place to have dinner as a family. We sat around the coffee table and it worked out. Thank you for your hospitality and sharing your beautiful casa with us. We were soooooooo sad to have to leave."

Playa Grande Travel Tips

Playa Grande Beach Rentals Are Tropical Paradises

Do more than dream about the tropical paradise of Costa Rica. Instead, book your perfect Playa Grande Beach rentals now to experience the Guanacaste Province and Marino Las Baulas National Park. Every day, you can rise and run down to the pristine shoreline around Playa Grande resorts for a dip in the clear Pacific Ocean. At dusk, set up dinner on the deck, so that you can enjoy the sunset. Vacations in Costa Rica are your dream come true.

Playa Grande Resorts and the Life of the Sea Turtle

Playa Grande resorts and Guanacaste Province are most notable for the endangered leatherback sea turtles that visit each year. These turtles struggle up the sand from the ocean to lay their eggs. Vacations in Costa Rica cannot be complete without a look at the natural park where the turtles are protected. If you cannot make the nesting season, try to come 55 to 75 days after the nesting occurs. During this time, you can walk from Playa Grande Beach rentals to witness the baby turtles emerging from the sand to crawl into the sea.

Surf Vacations in Costa Rica

Vacations in Costa Rica to Playa Grande are also notable for their surfing. The main beach at Playa Grande will see waves of varying heights for all skill levels of surfers. This beach is a lot quieter than Playa Tamarindo though equally as good. You will have to be an early riser most mornings to leave Playa Grande resorts for the ocean waves beckoning you.

Enjoy Tours near Playa Grande Beach Rentals

Vacations to Playa Grande Beach rentals do not have to be all about the beach. You can travel inland to experience eco-tours above the ground. Witness the waterfalls that allow the river to snake its way out to the ocean on a trekking tour of the rainforest.
