Beautiful Home, Great Location, Amazing Views. We're ready to come back!
"It's my final morning here. We are about to pack up and leave, and I already miss the house. The house is beautifully located on a hillside above the beach. It's about 1/4 mile walk to the beach, but you can still hear every wave crashing and see the water from every front window. Ana Marie deserves a raise, as she was here every single day cleaning, doing our laundry, and making the place look and smell cleaner then before. Ernesto washed our rental car for us and was diligently working in the yard all day everyday. Raking, watering plants, sweeping, and keeping the property and pool in tip top shape! The huge front porch, and gazebo were great for eating out, bird watching, or just relaxing and listening to the ocean and monkeys down below. The Rouku was great when it wasn't trying to load. Mic had it set up for our local television. We were watching a tornado and storms hit an area close to home as we were sitting in CR enjoying our beautiful weather. The dogs were the best part about this house. There are 4 dogs living on the property, although we only got to meet Rusty once (he was tied up at Ernesto's house the entire time we were at the home except for one morning when he must have broke away), he was my favorite. We spoiled Kanga, Jack and Sky with dog treats we bought at the store, attention, a walk to the beach, and letting them sleep in the air conditioned bedrooms most of the time we were there. Every time we come to Costa Rica we like to stay in a different area, but those dogs make us want to come to Villa Bueno Vista next time we come back. I have a feeling they are going to miss how much we spoiled them. The house is in close proximity to very nice grocery stores, 2 banks, lots of restaurants (Sol Y Mar being the best and cheapest), and lots of beaches. There isn't really anything bad I can say about our 8 nights we stayed here."

"We arrived at Montelaguna Residence on February 1st, 2015 and departed March 31st.
This condo unit is one of the most beautifully appointed, well-equipped condos that we have ever had the good fortune to stay in. There is every available kitchen utensil, bath towels or any other amenity you can imagine. The beds are comfortable and the layout of this condo is superb. Because of the beautiful long balcony accessed by the master bedroom, living room and dining room sliding doors, made the use of the air continuing unnecessary. Beautiful stainless steel appliances including an ice-maker water maker fridge which we found quite useful.
Great supply of reading material, movies to watch and cd's to play.
All in all, with the addition of the huge private pool and with the luxury of choosing Samara Beach or Carillo beach which are only a stones throw away, this property was pure bliss.
And for the above reasons, that's why we have already booked this unit for next year!"

"Just returned from a wonderful week. Our penthouse unit was perfect for our group. We were celebrating our sons 50th birthday. He brought a friend with him to enjoy some of the activities in Costa Rica. The constant sound of the ocean will be missed. The apartment is well equipped and quite comfortable. One suggestion to the owner would be to have flash lights in the 3 bedrooms should the power go out which is common in Costa Rica. We lost power only once for a couple of hours. Cleaning service came twice during our stay which was an unexpected bonus. Security is very tight within our complex...guards on duty 24/7... The pool area is great place to meet other guests and owners who will share with you best of tours to take. Rental agency can arrange all the tours. I do think a car is a must since town is more than a mile down a dirt road...cab costs $5 should you not have a car. All and all we loved the location of this unit and would stay there again."

"Traveled with a group of 4 around Guanacaste/Nicoya penisula and this was BY FAR our favorite spot. Michael and Daryl were always an email away when we had any questions, which made our stay even more enjoyable.
Danny and his son (caretakers at casa las nubes) are also there to make your stay even more enjoyable. On our first night, we wanted to grill dinner at the house. In no time at all, Danny had the "parilla" fired up and we were grilling chicken/pork/vegetable kebabs as the sun set over the countryside.
The pictures are amazing, but when you arrive... You realize that they don't do it justice. Absolutely BREATHTAKING VIEWS! If you are headed to this general area, I would highly advise staying here. Samara beach was a quick 25 minute drive>>> however, our favorite beach "playa carillo" is just beyond that.
Will return in the future!"
