"I truly can't say enough about this house. Right on the beach in Playa Hermosa, it was the perfect home for my family over the holidays. Walking distance to a few restaurants, great location for day excursions, truly an amazing and once in a life time experience.
I have stayed in 5 star hotels all over the world and this was probably one of my favorite vacations ever. If you are looking for an authentic Costa Rica experience I highly recommend working with PEXS and staying at the Blue Villa. Dali and Freddie (the live in caretakers) made our vacation even better with their in home meals and catering to our every need. Maria, our concierge, helped us with every detail of our vacation and everything was more than perfect.
Beautiful, relaxing, and we will be back!"

"What a truly wonderful place you have Scott! The pictures do not do it justice! (I know that is said a lot, but in this case it's definitely true!) We could not have had a more desirable location from which to venture out and see/do things from. The condo itself was well appointed and equipped. The grounds are well kept and secure, the poolside steps away and the beach just right out the back gate! Daryl was very helpful, met and took us to the condo, gave great information about the local culture, great places to eat and things to do. He was readily available for Q's that came up during our stay via email which was a great help. You have been a most accommodating host providing much needed info to make our stay awesome. The fact that you responded quickly regarding any questions your past guests had or left comments about was a great selling point for us for chosing your vacation home. It was our experience also, we very much appreciate that. We would definitely stay again and hope to in the future. And one last thing, meeting Marta was another wonderful delight! Best regards, Kris & Bill"

"Your condo was beautiful and very clean, Lori. We enjoyed the pool outside our balcony. The maintenance people were continually working outside to keep things in great condition. The four of us found everything that we needed in the condo. Walking to the beach was quite convenient. The only reason that I gave the condo a good instead of excellent was because the water pressure was an issue. The people in this country are so friendly and helpful. Neighbors in the condo area were very nice and helpful also. My family and I would return to your unit in this very relaxing area. Thank you for sharing."

"Really enjoyed our nine nights at Casa Colinas. Private areas make for a comfortable place to host friends, as we did. The pool area is beautiful, attended by a huge, mellow iguana and a friendly young monkey one morning. As mentioned in other reviews, Eric is very attentive and having Yohanna come and cook was an excellent experience. Dennis was extremely accommodating with our arrangements.
Maybe because the house is so large, it was not quite and clean upon arrival as one might like, as I repostioned the TV and the floor thee was a bit of a mess.
We also hosted a minor invasion of fire ants and a scorpion. We took these in stride. We would not want to have heard that major pesticides were applied, so taking care of these was no problem. This can occur anywhere in CR.
There are 24 hour security patrols and the gate attendants seem cheerful.
The dramatic entry foyer is a huge solar furnace which caused us to use AC more than we would have otherwise. Could use at least one sharp knife in kitchen.
Be aware that the location is on a steep hill, which is a long, arduous walk from the Hermosa beach, but a short drive. If you have 4x4 absolutely do not miss nearby beach Playa Penca, which has white Caribbean-like sand, aqua water and nice snorkeling. Recommended."
