  • Slice of heaven

"We recently returned from our stay at Naxos in Playa Langosta. The condo had everything we needed and the views were spectacular. The condo itself was very nicely decorated, the beds were comfortable and we always felt very safe in the gated condo. The pool area is gorgeous and most of the time we had the entire area to ourselves. We used the BBQ on many occasions and it worked wonderfully. This condo is a very short walk to the beach or if you take another 5 minutes past Barcelo Langosta there is a really beautiful sandy beach where you can spend the day watching the surfers and swim. We never walked to town as we had my father with us who had bad knees but it would not have been difficult along the beach at all. It's just a $5 taxi ride to Tamarindo and taxis are everywhere so we never had any problems getting a taxi when we needed it. I corresponded with Donna many times prior to our arrival and she was always very helpful and informative. If you're looking for a place that is clean, comfortable, safe and relaxing look no further."

  • A little slice of heaven in Costa Rica!

"I just returned from a wonderful vacation at Casablanca in Langosta. This condo is perfect. The kitchen is nice and open to the dining and living areas. There are 2 nice bedrooms downstairs and a great loft bedroom upstairs with a half bath. The pool is beautiful. We saw 2 giant green parrots, monkeys and iguanas! The location is perfect. It is away from the hustle and bustle of Tamarindo but still close enough to walk to restaurants and bars. And of course you are right across the beach from the beach! Suzanne is a great tour guide also. I would highly recommend this villa!"

  • Our Favorite Spot in Costa Rica

"Traveled with a group of 4 around Guanacaste/Nicoya penisula and this was BY FAR our favorite spot. Michael and Daryl were always an email away when we had any questions, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Danny and his son (caretakers at casa las nubes) are also there to make your stay even more enjoyable. On our first night, we wanted to grill dinner at the house. In no time at all, Danny had the "parilla" fired up and we were grilling chicken/pork/vegetable kebabs as the sun set over the countryside. The pictures are amazing, but when you arrive... You realize that they don't do it justice. Absolutely BREATHTAKING VIEWS! If you are headed to this general area, I would highly advise staying here. Samara beach was a quick 25 minute drive>>> however, our favorite beach "playa carillo" is just beyond that. Will return in the future!"

  • Beautiful, spacious house in a great location

"The house is comfortable, spacious and beautiful! It was a great place to relax in the evening by the pool or in the "backyard" patio after a busy day of activities. Just a quick walk to the beach. Great to walk the beach to Tamarindo at low tide (or spend hours exploring the tide pools). Just a $5 cab ride to/from Tamarindo. Maria, the property manager, was helpful with recommendations for surf lessons and restaurants. My daughters loved Princess (or Prince?), the resident cat! We enjoyed surf lessons, scuba diving, snorkeling, boogie boarding, zip lining and lots of amazing food in the Tamarindo restaurants. I've already recommended this home to friends who are planning to visit Costa Rica!"
