"Casa Fuego in Playa Negra was the perfect getaway for our family (my husband and I, our two kids, and my parents). The house slept us all comfortably and we enjoyed beautiful views of Playas Sandy and Negra from the bottom and top floor balconies. The pool and pool area was perfect for hanging out, having a BBQ, swimming and enjoying the sun. We had our own private path to the beach where the whole family was able to surf any time of the day! Jarrod and Meaghan were super accommodating and available for anything we needed. What a relaxing, adventurous few days! Thank you!"

"This was my 6th trip to Costa Rica, and Rancho Playa Negra is the best place to be, and Casa Luna de Miel is the best home to be in. It's luxury living in a beautiful, quiet, secluded part of the world. The house is better than the pictures, beautifully furnished and very secure. Our sunset horseback ride began at our house; we visited the community of Guaitil, with its amazing pottery, after a 40 minute drive of spectacular beauty. The local restaurants are wonderful (arroz con pollo was my favorite), with offerings to satisfy anyone's taste. Tamarindo is a nearby city for lunch and good shopping (but too "busy" to stay in).
Jarrod and Meaghan are terrific down-to-earth hosts who are always available to answer questions and offer advice.
We spent a lot of time at this incredible house, walking the beautiful grounds of Rancho Playa Negra, and it's beaches and tidal pools. We left totally relaxed, and looking forward to returning next year to another perfect week!"

"I can't say enough about our wonderful vacation to Costa Rica and the fabulous experience with Casa Ola Perfecta. Not only is the house and location perfect, you get a fabulous friend in Mary to help with your every need. We spent the majority of our time at "sandy beach" with the kiddos (ages 4, 7 & 9) while my sweet husband was able to surf the much raved about Playa Negra break several times a day, every day. I could relax on the gorgeous beach while watching the kids play in the gentle surf AND watch my husband catch some great rides just 200 yards away. Perfection!! One afternoon the kids and I swam while watching my husband surf. Yep, that's right. We watched him catch wave after wave from the amazing infinity pool. The house is gorgeous, the view is out of this world and the outdoor kitchen and pool were heavenly! The town is small but we enjoyed that. We weren't looking for a bustling tourist town. We loved the bread/pastry truck and fish truck that come straight to your door. No need to leave town. Mary's recommendations were spot on. We attempted a meal out at a place not on her list of recommendations and we were sadly let down. Lesson learned ... Listen to Mary! The guards at the gate were super friendly and never once did we not feel safe. The house was very family friendly and had lots of board games and even an Xbox for the kids. We can't think of one negative point to mention other than 8 nights just wasn't long enough! ;) We can't wait to come back again to Costa Rica and Casa OP. Pura Vida!!
Top fav local points to mention:
Restaurant Latinos (Patacones!!)
Gelato at Playa Negra Hotel
Custom made bikinis by Marvel
Restaurant Buena Vida (great pizza!!)"

"Our family of 6 just spent two weeks at Casa Ganesha. What a wonderful home and property. The house was as pictured. Our 4 kids all had their own bedroom with air conditioning and we took over the master. No air conditioning but so open and with ceiling fan it really wasn't needed or missed.
Overlooking the ocean, it was nice to hear the crashing waves at night and the howler monkeys in the morning. Lots of wildlife: bird visitors every morning and two iguanas on our roof!
Our kids lived in the pool much of the day but enjoyed their time in the waves boogie boarding and learning to surf.
Good restaurants in the area and being part of the hotel Playa Negra complex made us feel safe (on site security). Being able to run a tab a the restaurant was convenient for beachside pina coladas (and smoothies for the kids).
House is located about 30 minutes south of Tamarindo (great touristy spot) which is nice for a visit, a dinner out or to stock up on groceries. Santa Cruz (also 30 min) was the most reasonable place to pick up groceries. Be sure to check out the cool church tower there!
Know that the weather it is HOT on the west coast during dry season. 33-36 degrees (91-97F) almost every day with high winds some of the time. Landscape is pretty brown. Well worth taking a day or two to see rainforest. We spent one night in Fortuna to see the Arenal Volcano and rainforest. This was the rainforest I had come to see. Rainforest hike and incredible zip lining experience over the canopy. It was lush and green. Great experience but was nice to return to the sun, beach, pool and wonderful home of Casa Ganesha.
Everyone we dealt with through this rental was wonderful! Serge answered emails quickly and answered all our many questions. Judy, the house manager was always available and Jennifer, the housekeeper did a wonderful job. People at the hotel were friendly and helpful.
Casa Ganesha is well worth the visit!"
