"This is great house in a perfect location in Playa Guiones. This was our second trip to the Nosara/Playa Guiones area and we had previously stayed farther from the beach in the hills above Playa Guiones in what used to be the Sunhouse (I think its some yoga retreat now). We wanted to be closer to the beach and the main streets of Playa Guiones. This house is perfectly situated at the end of small dirt road. There is a private walking path (less than a minute which puts you next to The Harbor Reef Hotel, Coconut Harry's and Beach Dog Cafe) from the house to one of the main roads in Playa Guiones. Then its another private walking path (about 2 minutes or less) to the beach.
The house itself is great. We only had 4 nights, but could have stayed much longer. We were a party of 4 so only 2 of the 3 bedrooms were used. The bedrooms are great, beds very comfortable and bathrooms with plenty of space. The back patio with the 3 hammocks is really a great place to relax. The pool is very nice and provides a good place to chill after the beach and before dinner.
We ate all meals out so we didn't use the kitchen at all, but it had all the appliances if you wanted to cook.
The house feels very secure with a big wooden gate which we closed at all times whether or not we were home.
I am already thinking of ways to plan a return to trip and would recommend this great house to anyone.
The owner, Alison, is very easy going and a pleasure to rent from."

"Our family of four had a great stay at this property. Loved the proximity to beautiful Playa Flamingo, and ability to walk to restaurants and bars. Spectacular view of the beach from two patios, and easy access to pool and rancho (bbq area) - great for younger kids. Note that Flamingo is a hilly place - so beach is down a set of steep steps. We always walked it, but if anyone has difficulty, can easily drive them down in one minute (seriously) and there seemed to be plenty of parking. Felt secure with gated access and friendly guards. Short drive to other great beaches (Conchal, Penca, more), as well as farm stands, fish vendors, and markets. Really well stocked kitchen made cooking easy, and owner provided plenty of bath towels, beach towels, and even beach toys. Although couch and bed spreads make it a little dated, would definitely recommend this to others."

"We went for a girls trip for our 40th birthday. Alex, Mae, and the rest of the staff were more than accommodating. We had one problem with the second bedroom's air conditioning. We notified the staff and they quickly had someone come and look at it. It was not something they could fix, so theyimmediately notified the owner, Keith. Keith came by to see us personally and had it replaced.
Things happen in homes, and Keith's response was nothing less than stellar! We would absolutely stay again. Five days was not enough!! Thank You playa flamingo for your hospitality. We always felt safe and taken care of!! Pura Vida!"

"We visited Punta Dakota in January of 2015 with friends (there were 9 of us total). The property was beautiful and the weather was amazing! Online pictures of this property do not do it justice! The villa had all of the amenities that we could have possibly needed and the pool/bar area was breathtaking. It was so nice not to have to fight for a chair by the pool like you would have to at a hotel/resort! The staff at Punta Dakota would get a 5+ star rating if it would let me. We did hire Wilberth while we were there and he should really be charging more! He was amazing!! He did everything; he was our personal chef (the food was mouth watering), our bartender (made from scratch pina coladas to die for), and our local tour guide (we did an offsite excursion almost everyday that we were there). He knows everyone around the area of San Francisco and beyond so everyone was always very friendly. Great experience! We will definitely be repeat visitors of Punta Dakota!!"
