  • AWESOME HOUSE + AWESOME OWNER = BEST VACATION EVER

"We stayed at this vacation house for five days and absolutely loved it. It was completely accurate with the pictures from the website. The house is right on the water and has nice clean beaches, great for romantic walks and to watch the sunset. All the bedrooms come with working A/C. the maid service was awesome the girls kept are stuff clean and organized throughout our stay. The owner came by and showed around the town. He showed some of the best surf and snorkel spot. As well as where to eat and was able to lets get into the big resorts and allowed to use their pool and hot tub. He was able to get us some great deals at restaurants, pools and spas, and other activities such as surfing and snorkeling. This property is highly recommended for families and active or lazy groups. it really has it all."

  • Awesome!!! Just what we wanted for a Honeymoon

"This place was great! We were not expecting much based on the price, but were greatly surprised at how awesome Mike and Irma's home is. The breakfasts were phenomenal...from plates of fruit that included papaya, star fruit, mangosteen, passion fruit, and pineapple, accompanied by "coffee thirty" and the best typical food we ate while in the country. I still need your recipe for the gallo pinto Irma! I could eat that daily with your fried plantains. The penthouse was very clean and comfortable. Views from the balcony and even the shower are missed already. We rented a car and explored the hidden treasures in the surrounding area and enjoyed the charm of the nearby Playa Danta, finding a local fisherman to get fresh Mahi Mahi, and access to hacienda and tours at El Viejo. We drove to Arenal for the second half of our journy and ran into difficulties with an acclaimed resort. The thought of driving the 4 hours back to your home would have been a reality had our travel agent not anwered their phone. Thank you for answering the dozens questions regarding the local culture and for going above and beyond to make us feel welcome and appreciated."

  • Great Stay.

"We had a great experience during our three day stay here! Fabulous and prompt service, the place was clean and spacious and the pool, while shallow, was private and refreshing! It was a quick walk into town, the many restaurants and the beach."

  • Wow simply everything you can ask for.

"My fiancé and I rented this house with two other couples for 1week. It was AMAZING! The staff was very friendly and the owner is quick to answer emails. We saw monkeys in the trees only 50 feet from the house and more butterflies than any of us had seen before in lots of different colors. The ocean was probably 80 degrees and only 100 feet from the house. We went to a swim up bar right down the beach from the house which also offered ocean side massages! (It was truly amazing). Four of the nights we stayed in and had a private chef prepare dinner for us. It was local food and flavors that we miss so much (fried plantain, yum) I can't wait to return to this perfect house and beautiful country."

Playa Potrero Travel Tips

Relaxing Atmosphere in Playa Potrero Vacation Rentals

Located on the northern Pacific Coast in the Guanacaste providence of Costa Rica, Playa Potrero vacation rentals offer a more secluded beach getaway. Keep your vacation simple with relaxing days strolling along the bay or sunbathing on the beach. For more energetic activities, consider a brief swim in the waves, snorkeling or scuba diving to view the beauty of life under the water, or spending the afternoon sport fishing. Horseback riding along the coastline adds a new element of relaxation, while kayaking across the surf offers a more sporty activity. Spend evenings basking in the spectacular sunset over the water.

Playa Potrero: Travel Away From City Life

Playa Potrero vacation rentals are among the most secluded in the area because Play Potrero travel isn't as bustling as other options for Guanacaste beach homes. This gives you the opportunity to truly enjoy your Costa Rican vacation without worrying about crowds or distractions. The small fishing community of Potrero is at the northern end of the beach, providing small shops and local flair. There is also a small harbor close by, giving you the opportunity to hire a local Tico fisherman to take you on a once in a lifetime fishing excursion. For a little more action, you can take day tripsto places like Witches Rock or Playa Naranjo.

Vast Selection With Guanacaste Beach Homes

The Guanacaste providence, the northern portion of Costa Rica, gets its name from the native Guanacaste tree. The area offers miles of shoreline and bustles with Costa Rican culture. Whether you plan to simply stick with only Playa Potrero travel, or intend to make it a part of your full scale Guanacaste beach homes excursion along the whole region, many possibilities are available. Visit volcanoes along the Guanacaste mountain ranges or spend a day in the bustling city of Liberia. The possibilities are endless.
