"We initially started planning our Holiday with Pam and had nothing but exceptional customer service; she was so prompt at responding to any questions or concerns we had and made sure everything was taken care of before we arrived.
Upon arrival we were in awe of the beautiful accommodations; private rooms and on suites as well as a beautiful deck overlooking the ocean with comfy lounge furniture. We spent a lot of time at the pool and beach which was only a two minute walk from the Villa.
All the staff were Amazing! The chefs prepared delicious meals, baretender served up great drinks; even none alcoholic ones for the kids. The pool was always clean and laundry was returned washed and folded within an hour of leaving it out!
If you want an exceptional, all-inclusive and relaxing Holiday this is the spot!
I look forward to visiting Barefoot Vacation Villas properties in the future.

"Without exception, this is an awesome property and close to some of the best beaches in Costa Rica!
A car is necessary for shopping and site seeing. Locals stores cater to North Americans and English is widely spoken.
The local city is very safe and evenings on the condo balcony overlooking the ocean are outstanding. The howler monkeys and local wildlife helped us appreciate the time in a country that operates at a slower speed compared to North America.
Definitely a place to visit again."

"My husband and I stayed at Casa Luna Miel the first time in 2014 after having stayed in a hotel on our first trip to Costa Rica in 2012. We loved it from the moment we stepped inside and came back this year for a longer stay. It is a perfect house for a couple or a family as the guest room has a queen bed and the coolest built in bunk beds! Staying at Luna Miel is like coming home. My husband and I truly enjoy the entire Costa Rica experience one gets from renting a house. In 2014, Jarrod put us in touch with Adobe Rental Car for our vehicle and graciously explained where to go when we arrived...drawing maps for us, etc... so we were able to get groceries, gas, go to restaurants, and different surf breaks. This year, he did the same and after having helped refresh our memories, we can make our way around as easily as if we were locals! ...well, almost LOL... This year, the surf was pumping when we arrived, so my husband headed for the beach first rather than getting groceries. At the last minute, Jarrod had Mariah get us a few groceries to tide us over. To say Jarrod is accommodating is an understatement. The house itself is like a dream. The view of the ocean and the sunsets stay with me all year long. The exhilaration of jumping in the beautiful pool after coming back from the beach is awesome. The grounds are meticulously maintained. This year we did a few new things, which I recommend for anyone coming to Rancho Playa Negra. First, in home massages! Francis and her gentleman counterpart were unbelievable. I have massages regularly and have never been as relaxed as I was after having Francis work on me. The other is horseback riding along the beach to Avellanas. I have only been on a horse a couple times in my life and to ride a horse at sunset, along the beach and over rocks on the Costa Rican shoreline is an experience I will never forget. Jarrod and his team are honest and fair and a pleasure to be around. We have fallen in love with Costa Rica and Playa Negra and it is our dream to build a home in Rancho Playa Negra. While on this trip, Jarrod showed us some properties and spent time explaining the nuances of buying, building and living in Costa Rica. We hope we can be neighbors some day! Anyone thinking about a trip to Costa Rica should really consider any house in Rancho Playa Negra, but if there is such a thing as a perfect house, Casa Luna Miel is it. See you next year!"

"we really enjoyed our Christmas holiday time with the family in this spectacular home and setting. We loved the Spanish style to the home. We were happy spending the entire day- starting with coffee in the rockers overlooking the jungle with all the birds on the top balcony. We loved the pool and patio area in the afternoons- very hot, though- but just the way we like it. We had our cocktail hour on the balcony at kitchen level, watching the sunset and enjoying the increased activity in the jungle. We enjoyed viewing the howler monkeys in the trees and all the different birds. In the evenings, we had our dinner by the bbq at another balcony/patio with the large round table . It cooled down in the evenings- but we were happy to use the air conditioning in the bedrooms at night. Going to the beach was simple- a ride down the hill to one of the most beautiful beaches in Costa Rica. Very simple to park along the beach edge, where we set ourselves up for the day with chairs and cooler. It's a bit of a ride into town so we tried to stock up as much as possible. The road can be quite steep up to the house so a 4 wheel drive is useful. At this time of year, it was dry and not a problem. The home and location met all our expectations and made for a very memorable vacation in Cost Rica!"
