  • Amazing experience

"As others have stated, the view is absolutely breathtaking and the sunsets spectacular. Magda, the housekeeper, is one of the most precious souls we have ever had the pleasure of meeting and a wonderful cook. Her chicken and rice and ceveche were especially good but everything she prepares is authentic and delicious. The home owner is incredible helpful and knowledgeable, and the house managers are wonderful resources as well. Costa Rica is beautiful and exotic and the people warm and friendly. Lovely, lovely, home and fabulous week."

  • Great Place to Relax

"We stayed at this condo for 10 days and enjoyed every minute. The entire facility is meticulously maintained. There are people working on the grounds every day, trimming, pruning, and cleaning. The condo is very large for a one bedroom unit with a large comfortable balcony. We used the gas grill for steaks and burgers a couple of nights. Never had that in a rental unit before. Everything is exactly as described if not better. The washer and dryer are also a nice convenience. We went home with clean clothes! The resort was very quiet and never crowded. Even on the weekend when it was a little busier you could go to the pool at anytime and find a comfortable padded lounge to relax and read. We would recommend this facility and this condo to anyone looking for a nice, safe, quiet, beautiful resort. We are planning a return trip with friends this fall. Hopefully we can find a two or three bedroom unit that is as nice as L1108."

  • Wonderful location, perfect for a group!

"We rented this beautiful Costa Rican home for a week in August and could not have been happier with our choice. The location was exactly what I was after....peaceful retreat with a pool and on the beach, in a good central location in Playas Del Coco from which we could explore when and if we wanted to do so. There were only three of us but the location and property were right so we did it and are glad that we did. The house is plenty big enough for many more people to stay and have privacy. Because of the way the rooms are situated the property may not be the best choice if you have very young children that you would wan to have in their own room.....they could sleep in the loft area of the second floor outside of the master bedroom I guess but otherwise it would be difficult to have them near you. The photos are accurate. The house is well kept and clean. I will note because it may be important to some - there was only 1 TV, no DVD player, and no iron. We did not ask because we did not miss them beyond noticing that they were listed but not at the property. Unless you want to stay put, you really should rent a car or have some form of transportation...not that the town or other services are so far but in the heat even the .5km walk to a very small, not full service market would be a chore- not what I want on vacation. The main down is maybe 1.5-2km from the house. The beach is peaceful and beautiful. The sand is clean and free of rocks. The water is clear. The pool was perfect size and refreshing. We would absolutely stay here again."

  • Staying at Pacifico was perfect for our family

"This is our third time renting a unit within Pacifico at Coco Beach. Although the unit we rented was furnished differently, the layout remained the same. Our stay was incredible! Pacifico is located very centrally within Coco, so within walking distance to everything for grocery and retail shopping, dining out or even a stroll down the beach and beach club. The pool the unit is located on is quite long, and aptly named, the lazy river pool. There is a zero degree entry level for little ones, a small children's pool, a lap pool, for those so inclined to exercise, and a hot tub area. There are several comfy loungers, couches and tables at the poolside and also washrooms handy. At times it can seem like your very own resort, and other times it's nice to have a wonderful community of people to chat to and for the children to play with. The beachclub is quite beautiful. The sunsets are stunning. They have a full service bar and lunch/dinner menu. There is also a workout facility. They have several loungers and palapa's for finding some much needed shade mid afternoon. It can reach up to 40 degrees, but it doesn't seem so hot as there is usually a breeze. We often visit in March and have yet to experience a cloudy day. Randy was very helpful in arranging transportation to and from the airport and even directing us to someone to organize sightseeing trips and adventures. He was quick to respond to questions both during our stay and prior to our arrival. He met us personally at the front gate to show us into and out of the unit. He was very helpful in explaining everything from wifi usage to visiting the beach club and sunset happy hours (a must during your visit). Just keep your valuables and electronics at the unit. There have been a couple of thefts on the bottom level of the beach club, although it is guarded. There are also many excursions available within an hour from Coco such as canopy tours (Jungle Tour), horseback riding, hiking up a volcano (Ricon de la Veja, 2 hours away), wildlife marshland tours (Palo Verde), several beaches to explore (Hermosa, Ocotal, Tamarindo), ATV tours (Panama and Brasilito beach). To name only a few. I highly recommend Pacifico, the people who live, visit and work there are all very friendly. You and your family can feel safe and enjoy the vacation of a lifetime. You can be as busy and adventurous as you want or relaxed and laid back as you want...there is something for everyone in Costa Rica. 4 years of experience"
