"We arrived at Montelaguna Residence on February 1st, 2015 and departed March 31st.
This condo unit is one of the most beautifully appointed, well-equipped condos that we have ever had the good fortune to stay in. There is every available kitchen utensil, bath towels or any other amenity you can imagine. The beds are comfortable and the layout of this condo is superb. Because of the beautiful long balcony accessed by the master bedroom, living room and dining room sliding doors, made the use of the air continuing unnecessary. Beautiful stainless steel appliances including an ice-maker water maker fridge which we found quite useful.
Great supply of reading material, movies to watch and cd's to play.
All in all, with the addition of the huge private pool and with the luxury of choosing Samara Beach or Carillo beach which are only a stones throw away, this property was pure bliss.
And for the above reasons, that's why we have already booked this unit for next year!"

"Bambula is a great place to stay, right in the center of the town of Samara and the host is wonderful, there is nothing to complain about except for the heat, but that all went away when we jumped in the waters of the pacific ocean. easy location to get too and friendly community. i will be staying there again in the future"

"We recently stayed in Stacey's condo for 2 weeks in July 2015. We were a family of 5 with 3 adults, an 8 yo and a 1 yo. All, with the exception of myself and the 1 yo, had stayed in the condo before, about 4 years ago.
The condo offers a nice size patio with a couch and chair, a fully equipped kitchen, two bathrooms and 3 bedrooms (all with nice A/C, however we had a difficult time adjusting or turning it off - user error) Also, all rooms including the patio had ceiling fans which were well used and very effective. We didn't want for anything in the way of the condo. We truly enjoyed everything about it and would definitely stay there again. With our 2 week stay, housekeeping came mid-stay and cleaned, which we were not expecting, a nice surprise.
The grounds are well kept with gardens, a nice pool and when we got there a Ranchero (palapa covered sitting area with several tables and chairs to meet and get out of the sun or rain). Mid-stay they tore the Ranchero completely down with plans of building a new one. We are anxious to see the new one and missed it when it was gone. Attached to the Ranchero is a laundry building with two coin operated washing machines and two dryers. They ask you to pay $1000 colones per cycle (roughly $2 US) and you supply your own detergent. It was a wonderful plus for us to have access to this with two kids, not to mention we are light travelers and need to wash our clothes since we wear them several times throughout our holiday.
The complex is in a perfect location. Between the complex and the beach is a pasture filled with horses and cows. We enjoyed seeing them all the time. The horses take walks around town, down the street and on play on the beach, it is really pretty cool. Just around the corner is a large tienda which offers pretty much anything you might need as well as a bakery with fabulous goods including sandwiches made to order.
Town was a short walk, maybe 4 blocks? And the town is awesome with plenty of shopping and restaurants. We ALWAYS felt safe and for the 1st time ever traveling in Costa Rica we didn't see or hear about any petty theft in that area. The locals are very friendly.
I have spent a total of 10 weeks traveling in CR throughout a span of 12 years and have never seen as many howler monkey's in one place as I did just across the street from the condo complex. We heard them day and night and were able to get within 10 feet of them on several occasions. What Fun!"

"Our family of four spent 5 weeks (April 2015) at Casa Limon Dulce and our time could not have been better - we truly had an amazing time and have built family memories that we will have for a lifetime! I remember when I first wrote to Rich and asked him if he would accept a rental with two kids under 3. He of course said yes, but that the house might not be totally kid friendly. I can now say that I completely disagree - I think it is the perfect house for young kids!
A few reasons why -- the underwater bench in the back of the pool was great for a our toddler, who could spend hours practicing his swimming and playing with his toys; the open concept indoor/outdoor living room enabled us to always have an eye on the kids and for our kids to easily be able to get shade while not really coming inside; the fenced in front yard allowed our son to 'explore' while we weren't worried about the road; the solid structure of the home and ceiling fans meant that our kids got great sleeps and weren't woken by each other; and of course, the internet radio and surround sound made for excellent dance parties in the living room (sorry Gerardo for all the '80s music! :)) I could go on, but in our view it was perfect, and the house really has absolutely everything you could want or need.
Samara was also the perfect town for us, and again perfect for kids - the water of Playa Samara is fairly calm and warm, you can get everything you need in town, and all the restaurants could not be more welcoming to families. We also explored beaches up and down the coast, and loved how different each beach was and definitely the adventure to find many of them - Camaronal, Barrigona, Guiones, Islita, Carrillo.
Lastly, I wanted to say that Gerardo - the onsite caretaker and property manager - was fantastic, made sure we had everything we needed and was excellent with our son (he is still talking about him!). Jenny and Stacy were absolutely wonderful and did a fantastic job making the house look amazing -- it was so nice seeing their smiling faces at the house every morning! And Rich was a great person to rent from - our emails made me feel comfortable from the beginning and he was very responsive to any question I had. Thank you!
I will stop there but say that we certainly need to find a way to take a month off work every year and we hope to be back to Samara and Casa Limon Dulce very soon!"
