  • Perfect start to our marriage

"My now husband and I chose this beautiful spot for our week long honeymoon. It was such a relaxing and wonderful spot, due, mainly, because of the hosts! They have created a safe haven, a retreat, and great 'base camp' from where to adventure out. Tamarindo and the surrounding area has SO much to offer and you don't even need to leave the front yard to arrange it! Just leave it to Gary and Jolene! Don't know where to start? They have EXCELLENT suggestions! Tamarindo has plenty of English speaking natives, so if you don't remember much of your high-school Spanish (like I didn't) you're not in a bind. (My husband got a kick out of trying the Spanish he could remember.) Even if they don't- things tend to get settled and people watch out for you. We LOVED the activities, hanging out with Gary, Jolene, and Brooks, and just staying inside with each other- listening to the rain (we came in the rainy season). I've also never had such good seafood. I'm not a fish person, but this area has AMAZING fish/seafood. Well, great food in general. From the breakfasts and coffee that is provided by Maria(you can't help but love her by the end)- to the coconut guy on the beach selling coconut/milk for $2 on the beach out of a cooler. Ask Jolene about a dinner at 'The Great Waltinis' restaurant across the estuary that includes a free boat ride! If you time it right- you also get a sun set on the beach."

  • A perfect villa for a perfect vacation

"The three generations of our family, eight adults and six children ages 8 to 16, spent ten wonderful days at this dream house that is set in a perfect location. The trip was to celebrate a 50th anniversary and it was important that the holiday be memorable for all. The house is very well set up. Each of the adult couples had a very quiet, spacious bedroom with ensuite bathroom. There was a roomy bedroom for the two girls and a spacious bedroom for the four boys. The open concept living area, which has a beautiful view towards the ocean, was very large, with two sitting areas. The dining room table easily seated the fourteen of us, and the well equipped kitchen was large and well set up for a number of cooks to be working at the same time. Off the living area was a large balcony facing the ocean. On the entrance level was a very large room that dwarfed the ping pong table and and gave entrance to the outside and the large, well maintained pool. We made great use of the large, covered area beside the pool and also the barbecue. From this outside area we could walk right onto a beach that is shared by just a few houses and is usually deserted. It was a lovely place to be and the bay in front had excellent snorkelling. We had taken water shoes but really did not need them. We were amazed at how quiet the whole area was. Debbie and Royce are excellent property managers and e-mail questions and requests were promptly dealt with. With the house there is access to the Hacienda Pinilla Beach Club. The huge pool there and the very long and beautiful beach were great places to spend days swimming, surfing, playing in the waves and relaxing. We cannot imagine a more ideal villa and location to have spent a very memorable vacation. We have come back raving about it and recommending it to other families and groups of people."

  • A Slice of Paradise!

"My wife and I rented penthouse on nthe beach with another couple. We were absolutely thrilled with the condo itself which was spacious and very well appointed. The onsite staff as well as the management company were very friendly and responsive to our needs. The pool area was wonderful with shaded areas as well as sun. The condo is located about a mile outside Tamarindo which can be walked. There are a couple restaurants about a half mile away. There is also a wonderful bed and breakfast close by which caters to breakfast only people as well as people staing there. A small grocery store is also close by. This was undoubtedly the best beach vacation we have ever had and highly recommend this property!"

Tamarindo Travel Tips

An Unforgettable Trip to Tamarindo Beach Rentals

Who does not dream of unforgettable vacations, especially in a tropical paradise? If you are looking for such a trip then vacations in Costa Rica may be your answer. In Costa Rica, you have different provinces to choose from, including the Guanacaste Province in northwestern Costa Rica. In this area, you will find Tamarindo Beach rentals. The sandy beach may be just a few feet from your back door and you'll find surfing opportunities you will never forget. As you sit on the deck of Tamarindo resorts, you can look out at the Pacific Ocean for whales as well.

Tamarindo Resorts Are Easily Accessible

Tamarindo is a larger city in the province due in part to its accessibility. Flights and private charters can reach Tamarindo resorts by way of the International Airport in Liberia. It is 45 minutes from Tamarindo Beach rentals. In the town, you will pass by small stores, restaurants, and souvenir locations which you will want to visit at least once. Vacations in Costa Rica like those in Tamarindo ensure you have all the amenities at your accommodations, as well as in town.

Vacations in Costa Rica at Cape Sailfish

Tamarindo Beach runs along a section of bay formed by Cabo Velas or Cape Sailfish. To the north of Tamarindo resorts is Playa Grande which is inside the bay. Two beaches in this area are separated by a saltwater estuary called Estero Tamarindo; to the south of the bay, you'll find Playa Langosta. Vacations in Costa Rica are not complete without a stop at both beaches, especially because they are preserves for the giant leatherback sea turtle. If you visit between October and March, you will see the turtles come on shore at night to lay eggs.

Tamarindo Beach Rentals near Jungle Boat Tours

During the day, you can take a different sort of trip around the beaches. Jungle boat rides are offered to guests of Tamarindo Beach rentals who want to spend the day on skiffs in the mangrove forests. It is possible to see birds, mammals, and reptiles while on the tour. Canopy tours are also available for visitors who want fantastic views of the forest below.
