"My two young sons and I had a fantastic week in this house. Richard was super helpful and basically was a concierge half our stay - showing us the lesser known gems to visit in the area. This home is isolated enough that it felt like a nice private hideaway but was relatively close to beaches, restaurants, etc. We would definitely go back. Gracias Richard!"Guest: Ctworkingmom Date of Stay: April 2014 Review Submitted: May 7, 2014View listing
"This house is AWESOME! Spacious and extremely comfortable for our group of 12 people. The staff was extremely friendly. They arrived every day at the same time to clean the property. The House Manager Cris was a great asset for recommendations for things to do throughout Tamarindo and surrounding areas. He connect us w/a great Surf Instructor, Carlos. Carlos was wonderful with teaching our non-experienced group surfing and many of us were able to stand and wide a wave (or two)!!! Our group also had catered dinner by Chef Derek Furlani. Food was scrumptious and his staff was excellent. Another great recommendation from the house management. Cris even connected us with tour guides and great pricing on exursions! In sum, the pics were true to form, the home was extremely comfortable, it was a short walk (5 mins) down a steep hill to the beach, and directly in the Tamarindo town. I highly recommend for groups that want to stay in nice villa to groups that want access to things to do in town. I hope to come again soon and I will definitely stay here!"Guest: rashida b. "This is a special place. You can: 1) Hear the surf and experience a more quiet residential cottage-like setting away from the hustle of Tamarindo. 2) Swim in the morning near the river by Barcello (they have life gaurds who will warn if rip tides or hazards are present) 3) Never miss the sunsets right outside your gate on the beach 4) Take an evening swim before bedtime....after wandering into Tamarindo for a bite. Love it and will return again soon. Owner and property manager are wonderful people. RPM is right across the street. Thanks so much for your kindness."Guest: Chris B. "Our trip to Tamarindo was a long-promised family vacation where we wanted to experience something exotic, but wanted the comfort of a warm shower and nice accommodations each night. We were made to feel at home from the minute we arrived at Casa Paquita. Both the Concierge (Paola) and the housekeeper (Noami) not only greeted us warmly, they were with us throughout our stay making sure our every needs were met - whether it was arranging for zip line adventures, kayaking trips, scuba dives or simply a pot of coffee each morning. The crew made our trip effortless and enjoyable. Naomi was affable and available in addition to keeping the place spotless throughout our stay. Now, for the house! It is AMAZING. An infinity pool that was kept leaf-clean each day by the pool-boy and the spacious areas inside that had plenty of space for all of our troupe (3 young adults between 18 and 24, my mom and the two of us) to have their own space, ...or gather around the huge farm-house table that over-looks the pool and the glorious sunsets. The bedrooms are spacious and the common areas comfortable for lounging around. The best thing we can say is that the place was just as it is represented by the photos in the ad. We cooked most of our meals on site, but also enjoyed the short drive or modest walk to Tamarindo - where there are a few, but enough, nice restaurants and bars to stroll into on an off-day or each evening. The roads there were unpaved so the ride / walk was a bit bumpy, but did not take long. We walked into town for ice cream one evening and felt completely safe. During the day, the walk included a view of the resting howler monkey's hanging around in the trees. (Yes, it's safe, mom! All the monkey's want is to be observed and left alone.) If we had to give two heads-up, it would be to be sure you have a good map to get there as the roads are all two lane and not well-marked. And, that the internet was very slow. Although, on one hand a week "off the grid" was nice, keeping up with emails and other internet services was at dial-up speeds. All in all, a wonderful stay we would do again and recommend to any of our friends."Guest: J & K Date of Stay: June 2014 Review Submitted: July 1, 2014View listing
Tamarindo Travel Tips
An Unforgettable Trip to Tamarindo Beach Rentals
Who does not dream of unforgettable vacations, especially in a tropical paradise? If you are looking for such a trip then vacations in Costa Rica may be your answer. In Costa Rica, you have different provinces to choose from, including the Guanacaste Province in northwestern Costa Rica. In this area, you will find Tamarindo Beach rentals. The sandy beach may be just a few feet from your back door and you'll find surfing opportunities you will never forget. As you sit on the deck of Tamarindo resorts, you can look out at the Pacific Ocean for whales as well.
Tamarindo Resorts Are Easily Accessible
Tamarindo is a larger city in the province due in part to its accessibility. Flights and private charters can reach Tamarindo resorts by way of the International Airport in Liberia. It is 45 minutes from Tamarindo Beach rentals. In the town, you will pass by small stores, restaurants, and souvenir locations which you will want to visit at least once. Vacations in Costa Rica like those in Tamarindo ensure you have all the amenities at your accommodations, as well as in town.
Vacations in Costa Rica at Cape Sailfish
Tamarindo Beach runs along a section of bay formed by Cabo Velas or Cape Sailfish. To the north of Tamarindo resorts is Playa Grande which is inside the bay. Two beaches in this area are separated by a saltwater estuary called Estero Tamarindo; to the south of the bay, you'll find Playa Langosta. Vacations in Costa Rica are not complete without a stop at both beaches, especially because they are preserves for the giant leatherback sea turtle. If you visit between October and March, you will see the turtles come on shore at night to lay eggs.
Tamarindo Beach Rentals near Jungle Boat Tours
During the day, you can take a different sort of trip around the beaches. Jungle boat rides are offered to guests of Tamarindo Beach rentals who want to spend the day on skiffs in the mangrove forests. It is possible to see birds, mammals, and reptiles while on the tour. Canopy tours are also available for visitors who want fantastic views of the forest below.
