"My family and I thoroughly enjoyed staying this condo. The accommodations were perfect for our family of 5 which includes 3 teens. The condo was very clean, nicely decorated/furnished and spacious enough for the 5 of us. The location was perfect, close enough to the main town but far enough away that it was quiet. We were so thankful for all the sightseeing, adventuring and eating recommendations that Scott and Mary Beth put together for their guests. We enjoyed so much within an hour drive -- zip lining, horseback riding, visiting various beaches, waterfalls, great food, etc. When we had questions before and during our stay Scott and Mary Beth were very prompt with communications to make sure we were comfortable and situated. We would definitely return to CR some day and hopefully have the opportunity to stay in La Esquina #9."

"The pros: the condo is in a nice complex with an attractive pool and hot tub that we enjoyed almost every day, most of the time having it all to ourselves. The condo has almost everything you need (except food...which is shockingly expensive). The master room is spacious with a nice size bathroom. I would have opted for different sinks as the bowls take up much of the counter space but there is a shelf below the sink too. The owners provide hand, dish and body (liquid) soaps and laundry detergent and fabric softener, plus the linens and beach towels, all included in the rental fee. The kitchen is well stocked with the essentials you need to make your own meals "at home." The views from the balcony are just beautiful! There wasn't always a breeze so it was sometimes too muggy with bugs around to enjoy but other times it was absolutely perfect. All the people we met at the complex, around town, and on tours were very nice and helpful. The owners were also a pleasure to work with.
The cons: the beds in the second room do not have the foam topper that the master bed has so they aren't as comfortable for adults (headboards aren't attached to the beds). The sheets and towels have some stains (the spare king-size sheets have a tear in them), several of them just need to be replaced. The condo has a few maintenance items that need to be addressed, mostly normal wear and tear, hard water, and a humid environment. There is an issue with a window/door leaking in the master bedroom when really strong winds accompany storms. We were without water 3 times so I would definitely recommend putting water in bottles and pots to keep on hand. We only lost power once, just for 10 minutes. The roads to the condo are rough so be prepared to experience the "Costa Rican car massage." The pool wasn't always cleaned so we spent a few hours skimming the pool (had we mentioned this to the maintenance staff, I'm sure it would have been addressed). Even after resetting and rebooting the modem and wireless router, the wireless internet in the condo rarely every worked so we were often using the wireless internet from the complex instead.
Other important info: taxis into town are anywhere from $5 to $10 one way (higher fare is to go to the Auto Mercado which has the largest selection around and gluten free items). Do NOT change money at the airport! Everywhere we went accepted US dollars.
Overall, we really enjoyed our 2 week stay at this well-priced condo!"

"This was a beautiful house. The four bedrooms are all like suites, only 2 units have to share a bathroom. One unite stands alone like a carriage suite. The house is on a road outside Tamarindo. It was a very peaceful stay. The manager, Julius couldn't have been nicer. Great communications via email and in person. He was always just a phone call away."

"Vacationed for a week with another couple, our first trip to Costa Rica. All agreed the home met all expectations: clean, well furnished, comfortable, and the splash pool in the back yard was perfect after our walks to town and back along the beach. Appliances, grill, dining room or outside table were very inviting for eating at home, but we passed on any cooking-in to sample the variety of restaurant in Tamarindo, Langosta, and Lolla's and the Marriott on Playa Avelinnas. It was only a short walk cutting though the Capitan Suiza Hotel or the Beach Club to get to the beach, and having access to the club as part of the house was super convenient (pool, food, massage and exercise room). Linda recommended and we used almost exclusively Tamarindo Traval for our excursions and trips around the area. Fantastic week all around."
