  • Excellent place, in a beautiful town, run by a true-blue gentleman.

"Spent 1 month with my family at La Buena Vida and enjoyed every minute of it. The condo is gated and the people staying there are super nice and helpful. Steve, the owner, was always available and never stressed out on little things. Steve knows the true meaning of pura vida. Always a great conversation to be had by the pool with some interesting folk. The place is immaculate and has everything you need for a beach vacation. In short, everything written on the description is exactly as it . Furthermore, The maid and ground workers are so polite and do great work. The town people are very friendly. I heard stories before my trip that Tamarindo can be dangerous. All I can say is That I never felt any danger even at night. We left stuff on the beach while in the water and never worried about theft. In short, I liked the place so much, that I am looking to retire here."

  • Outstanding Condo!

"Spent an excellent four days at Dave's condo with the family in late November, 2013. It is a clean, spacious, well-appointed two bedroom condo on the fourth floor of the 7-stories Matapalo condo within the Tamarindo Diria Resort complex. The 100+ sq.ft. balcony looks down to the family pool and over the treetops of the compound and out towards the ocean. It has a patio table and chair set which I spent hours just enjoying the cool breeze and chilling. My mother also loved sitting there and chat about the latest family stuff. The master bedroom is spacious and looks out to the ocean. The ensuite bathroom is huge. The secondary bedroom is at the back and good for sleeping. The bed is a little "bare" but still comfortable so no complaints there whatsoever. We made good use of the kitchen for simple breakfasts. The coffee machine (my lifesaver in morning) works well, and the blender was put to good use for making ice-cold pina colada's! The necessities of modern life - TV's, internet connection (outstanding speeds) and telephone all worked well. The location of the condo was central in Tamarindo. Being a small town, it's walking distance to almost every place one would want to go - good restaurants, small supermarket, and all the in-town surf shops. Dave the owner was excellent in communicating with me on request for more info, signing the lease agreement and so on. If I ever make a return trip to Tamarindo, this would be my absolute first choice."

  • We didn't want to leave!

"Jane, We loved your condo! Everything was exactly like the photographs. We enjoyed sitting together on the outdoor porch watching the spectacular sunset or relaxing with a book. The condo was very accommodating to 4 adults, and we had more than enough room. We also enjoyed the pool and I LOVED that it was a lap length (about 25 yrds). My only complaint about the condo was the limited lighting in the 2nd floor bathroom. The only small overhead light in the room created mostly shadows than light causing some difficulty for my husband shaving and my makeup. Tamarindo was approximately 1 mile away and we walked or drove depending on our plans for the day. There were plenty of nice restaurants in the area to enjoy but our favorites were Patagonia and Pangus. Amazing food!! Make reservations as they are very busy! Thanks again and we will be back!!"

  • Fabulous!

"I would recommend this property without hesitation. My wife and I and two children (7 and 10) spent a wonderful week here. The property was well run and the staff were wonderful, helpful and accommodating. The beach club, membership of which is included in the rent, was directly across the street and right on the beach. We could not have asked for more and would not change a thing!"

Tamarindo Travel Tips

An Unforgettable Trip to Tamarindo Beach Rentals

Who does not dream of unforgettable vacations, especially in a tropical paradise? If you are looking for such a trip then vacations in Costa Rica may be your answer. In Costa Rica, you have different provinces to choose from, including the Guanacaste Province in northwestern Costa Rica. In this area, you will find Tamarindo Beach rentals. The sandy beach may be just a few feet from your back door and you'll find surfing opportunities you will never forget. As you sit on the deck of Tamarindo resorts, you can look out at the Pacific Ocean for whales as well.

Tamarindo Resorts Are Easily Accessible

Tamarindo is a larger city in the province due in part to its accessibility. Flights and private charters can reach Tamarindo resorts by way of the International Airport in Liberia. It is 45 minutes from Tamarindo Beach rentals. In the town, you will pass by small stores, restaurants, and souvenir locations which you will want to visit at least once. Vacations in Costa Rica like those in Tamarindo ensure you have all the amenities at your accommodations, as well as in town.

Vacations in Costa Rica at Cape Sailfish

Tamarindo Beach runs along a section of bay formed by Cabo Velas or Cape Sailfish. To the north of Tamarindo resorts is Playa Grande which is inside the bay. Two beaches in this area are separated by a saltwater estuary called Estero Tamarindo; to the south of the bay, you'll find Playa Langosta. Vacations in Costa Rica are not complete without a stop at both beaches, especially because they are preserves for the giant leatherback sea turtle. If you visit between October and March, you will see the turtles come on shore at night to lay eggs.

Tamarindo Beach Rentals near Jungle Boat Tours

During the day, you can take a different sort of trip around the beaches. Jungle boat rides are offered to guests of Tamarindo Beach rentals who want to spend the day on skiffs in the mangrove forests. It is possible to see birds, mammals, and reptiles while on the tour. Canopy tours are also available for visitors who want fantastic views of the forest below.
