"This house is AWESOME! Spacious and extremely comfortable for our group of 12 people. The staff was extremely friendly. They arrived every day at the same time to clean the property. The House Manager Cris was a great asset for recommendations for things to do throughout Tamarindo and surrounding areas. He connect us w/a great Surf Instructor, Carlos. Carlos was wonderful with teaching our non-experienced group surfing and many of us were able to stand and wide a wave (or two)!!! Our group also had catered dinner by Chef Derek Furlani. Food was scrumptious and his staff was excellent. Another great recommendation from the house management. Cris even connected us with tour guides and great pricing on exursions! In sum, the pics were true to form, the home was extremely comfortable, it was a short walk (5 mins) down a steep hill to the beach, and directly in the Tamarindo town. I highly recommend for groups that want to stay in nice villa to groups that want access to things to do in town. I hope to come again soon and I will definitely stay here!"Guest: rashida b. "My wife and I rented penthouse on nthe beach with another couple. We were absolutely thrilled with the condo itself which was spacious and very well appointed. The onsite staff as well as the management company were very friendly and responsive to our needs. The pool area was wonderful with shaded areas as well as sun. The condo is located about a mile outside Tamarindo which can be walked. There are a couple restaurants about a half mile away. There is also a wonderful bed and breakfast close by which caters to breakfast only people as well as people staing there. A small grocery store is also close by. This was undoubtedly the best beach vacation we have ever had and highly recommend this property!"Guest: Dave D Date of Stay: February 2014 Review Submitted: March 7, 2014View listing
"We found the casita to be perfect for us. The location is an easy walk to Tamarindo. I was able to unpack a week's worth of clothes for me and my husband and makeup, lotions, hair products....there was a convenient spot for everything. It totally exceeded our expectations."Guest: jolady Date of Stay: May 2014 Review Submitted: June 2, 2014View listing
"The house was absolutely as posted online. Its a calm pretty little place with adequate bedrooms for 6 adults. The kitchen was well equipped, there were plenty of linens and towels etc including beach towels which was great. The villa is clean. The pool is clean an refreshing and there is security on site who are helpful if you have questions. The compound is small and the villa outside spaces are private enough to chill alone if you wish. The owners were amazing at helping us get set up. They answered all questions and helped us set up a shuttle from airport. They were totally available by email on the lead up to our trip. RPM property mgrs. were a little glitchy for us hence the 4/5 review. May just be "tico time" attitude :) The location was great for us - out of town enough to be quiet but an easy walk to get to all activities. Ensure that you bring a flashlight - the road is dusty and can be muddy if it rains. The Langosta Beach Club right down the street was an amazing place for us to hang. The beach is very close - again walk across the street down the access road and there it is :) Its an easy inexpensive cab ride into town. Figure how how much before you get into the cab. Be aware that many people in the area (RPM included) are very helpful when assisting you in setting up tours (they get a kickback) - its actually easier to walk into town and set up the tours yourself - you can negotiate a better rate. We would recommend RTV with Action tours (by villa Amarillo) and Marlin Del Ray catamaran. Great food at Langosta Beach Club and make the trek to the far end of town to the Paris Bakery to get amazing croissants and pastries and quiches :) Grocery - as noted is expensive - its probably better to cab or drive to one of the major grocery stores outside of town and stock up once at the start of your trip - vs numerous trips to the small local (expensive) stores. Use trip advisor to negotiate the numerous restaurants and activities."Guest: jacki Date of Stay: August 2014 Review Submitted: September 9, 2014View listing
Tamarindo Travel Tips
An Unforgettable Trip to Tamarindo Beach Rentals
Who does not dream of unforgettable vacations, especially in a tropical paradise? If you are looking for such a trip then vacations in Costa Rica may be your answer. In Costa Rica, you have different provinces to choose from, including the Guanacaste Province in northwestern Costa Rica. In this area, you will find Tamarindo Beach rentals. The sandy beach may be just a few feet from your back door and you'll find surfing opportunities you will never forget. As you sit on the deck of Tamarindo resorts, you can look out at the Pacific Ocean for whales as well.
Tamarindo Resorts Are Easily Accessible
Tamarindo is a larger city in the province due in part to its accessibility. Flights and private charters can reach Tamarindo resorts by way of the International Airport in Liberia. It is 45 minutes from Tamarindo Beach rentals. In the town, you will pass by small stores, restaurants, and souvenir locations which you will want to visit at least once. Vacations in Costa Rica like those in Tamarindo ensure you have all the amenities at your accommodations, as well as in town.
Vacations in Costa Rica at Cape Sailfish
Tamarindo Beach runs along a section of bay formed by Cabo Velas or Cape Sailfish. To the north of Tamarindo resorts is Playa Grande which is inside the bay. Two beaches in this area are separated by a saltwater estuary called Estero Tamarindo; to the south of the bay, you'll find Playa Langosta. Vacations in Costa Rica are not complete without a stop at both beaches, especially because they are preserves for the giant leatherback sea turtle. If you visit between October and March, you will see the turtles come on shore at night to lay eggs.
Tamarindo Beach Rentals near Jungle Boat Tours
During the day, you can take a different sort of trip around the beaches.
