"My girlfriend and I decided to check out the western coast of Costa Rica in the Mid Month of December of 2014. I discovered a little surf/fishing town called Tamarindo and became intrigued. Someone told me about VRBO which I had never utilized until deciding to go to Costa Rica but I found it to be a very nice alternative to a hotel. Staying at the Casa Delfin was a first class experience and it simply felt like home. All the amenities of a hotel in a private quite home like atmosphere that is a hop, skip, and a jump away from the beach. Also, I must say after you book your dates of interest Rich (owner) does a magnificent job pointing you in the right direction. Rich has done all the homework for you and is prepared to send you all the information you will be needing to ensure your stay in Costa Rica is exactly what you had expected and were looking for. No doubt I will be a returning to the Casa Delfin in future! Thanks Rich!!"

Fantastic condo immaculately furnished and with a wonderful ocean view
"This condo was the perfect place for our stay in Tamarindo. It is modern and well furnished. The patio furniture is perfect to enjoying a stunning view of the ocean. It is roomy and comfortably fit 8 adults. The pool was outstanding for quick dips without having to go to the beach. We can't recommend this condo enough."

"Five stars is not enough. The property is pristine, the breakfasts are outstanding, and you are walking distance from a vibrant town with many English speakers. Jolene and Gary go out of their way to make sure you have all that you need, and ensure that you have a wonderful time. Just imagine that you are being hosted by some of your closest friends whose every desire is to make your visit a remarkable get away - that is who Jolene and Gary are! They will give you details of the best places to eat, play, and enjoy. They are from California and have lived in Villa Andalucia for 15 years - no language barrier for English speakers and no shortage of knowledge about Costa Rica. Their son Brooks is very personable and will take you to great snorkeling spots and teach you surf boarding and spear fishing. A great excursion is the river boat tour of the wildlife at a nature preserve about an hour away - crocodiles, white face monkeys, iguanas, native birds, howler monkeys. It also includes a hands on cultural tour of restored dwellings and historic early period cooking, sugar cane production, that was well done and fun."

Great location- across the street from the beach and walking distance to everything in town
"My husband and I stayed for a week with both my parents and our two children (6yrs old & almost 2yrs old). Mike and Kathy along with their friendly staff were awesome and accommodated our VERY late check in. We loved having a pool in the back yard for the kids to swim in and the the beach and various restaurants right across the street. While there are many adventurous activities to do within driving distance, we chose to spend the majority of our time relaxing in the backyard (watching monkeys, birds, etc), on the beach, and exploring the town by foot. We did so one adventurous thing though - take our 6yr old zip lining at Pura Aventura. We had a blast and felt very safe!
Cafe Tico (2 min walk out the gate and to the right) is a must if you like coffee. As is Langosta Beach Club if you're looking for a great place to sit and watch the sunset and have a nicer dinner."
