  • A hidden gem with Lake access!

"We, a party of 6, stayed at Stephanie and Ron's beautiful gem for a total of 13 nights. We loved the layout and space available to us, especially the big living room/kitchen area and the deck. Getting to it at night can be challenging since the "Turtle Cove" sign is partially damaged. Jorge, the property manager, was kind enough to wait for our delayed arrival because we got lost a few times. :) Unfortunately, the weather wasn't that great but the never-ending winds were just right for the die-hart windsurfers amongst us. It's important though to let new tenants know that the road to the property is a dirt road so that people can make decisions about the type of car and car insurance to get when coming to stay here. Nevertheless, it was an okay enough road with a regular car. Thank you again, Stephanie and Ron, for letting us stay at your beautiful property! We would definitely recommend this place this to others who want to stay near Ticowinds or who do not mind driving 45 min to see the volcano, go on hikes, or enjoy the hot springs."

  • Amazing home on the beach!

"I truly can't say enough about this house. Right on the beach in Playa Hermosa, it was the perfect home for my family over the holidays. Walking distance to a few restaurants, great location for day excursions, truly an amazing and once in a life time experience. I have stayed in 5 star hotels all over the world and this was probably one of my favorite vacations ever. If you are looking for an authentic Costa Rica experience I highly recommend working with PEXS and staying at the Blue Villa. Dali and Freddie (the live in caretakers) made our vacation even better with their in home meals and catering to our every need. Maria, our concierge, helped us with every detail of our vacation and everything was more than perfect. Beautiful, relaxing, and we will be back!"

  • Nice house, great location

"Villa Buena Vista is a lovely property in Potrero Costa Rica. Jorge the property manager is very helpful and the directions to the house were great- thanks! Ernesto and Anna Maria(?) his wife are wonderful and are on the property full time to help out, clean, etc. Loved the house dogs- rusty, jack, Skye and I forget the big ones name- they are so friendly and they hung out with us on the deck every day! The house itself is set up on a hillside with amazing views, 3 bedrooms, 3 full baths and 1 half bath. Can walk to the beach but it is about a 1/4 mile so we drove- beaches are nice and pretty private. The house has a pool which we used every day- covered cabana, table & chairs and barbecue at the pool site. Birds all over and beautiful parrots everyday. Monkeys too! Only suggestions I would make- can use some new pots and pans for cooking - they are old and the non stick is pretty much all worn off. Need a new toaster too- it started sparking and did not toast well! Overall a nice place to stay Air conditioning in the bedrooms but not the living areas, however there are ceiling fans and even though the temperature was in the 90s during the day, it was much cooler in the morning and evening, besides who spends time in the house when outside is awesome! We spent all our time on the deck enjoying the view and birds. Table and chairs on the deck so we always ate out there. Potrero is nice and quiet and a short 30 minute drive to Tamarindo if you feel the need to see a real touristy beach town and Playa Flamingo is a short 10 minute drive- smaller than Tamarindo but still enough restaurants, shops and bars"

  • Make Sunrise Your Tamarindo Vacation Relaxation Headquarters!

"My friend and I enjoyed a Tamarindo vacation during the first week of September 2014. We stayed right across the street from the beach in the Sunrise Condos. A beautiful view of the spectacular pool as well as a glorious blue ribbon of ocean and swaying palm trees could be enjoyed while sipping cocktails on thirty eight's balcony. Sunrise Condos was a perfect base of operations...we'd stroll to grocery stores to pick up breakfast and lunch provisions...and then dine out...many delicious restaurants within walking distance, all featuring outdoor dining (which I love) on covered patios or terraces. Nothing like enjoying a piece of homemade coconut cream pie while watching the surf crash in the moonlight! I would definitely recommend our accommodations...thirty eight was clean, comfortably furnished with plenty of closet space and towels, and featured little extras that made it feel like home...a beach bag to tote your stuff to the beach, a small paperback "borrow one, leave one" library, and recent issues of several popular magazines. Ate most meals on the balcony...comfortable cushioned wicker furniture, a balcony ceiling fan, and the great views mentioned above made it hard to leave. The kitchen is fully stocked with ample glassware, dishes, glassware, more pots and pans than you'll ever need with all the great Tamarindo restaurants, microwave, toaster, toaster oven, and blender. The pool is clean and the cascading waterfall feature (wonderful for a shoulder massage!) lifts it several steps above ordinary. Sunrise features a 24-hour security gate to add to your sense of comfort and well-being. One of the most relaxing vacations I've ever been on...you won't be disappointed!"

Guanacaste Travel Tips

Guanacaste Beach Rentals Give You the Real Costa Rica

If you are looking for long summer days on beautiful coastlines, Guanacaste beach rentals are for you. Vacations in Costa Rica can be filled with activities, sun, and sand. Enjoy the stunning shoreline, top-notch surfing, snorkeling, and so much more when you stay at Guanacaste resorts. The province is the perfect vacation destination for the whole family or the ideal spot for a romantic honeymoon.

Breathtaking Vistas within the Guanacaste Resorts Regions

All along the eastern borders of the province you will find a chain of volcanoes, many of which are visible from some Guanacaste beach rentals. The volcanoes meet the Cordillera de Tilaran and Cordillera de Guanacaste mountain ranges and offer plenty of hiking, mountain biking, and other high elevation activities. The views in this region are particularly breathtaking, especially when you reach Rincon de la Vieja Volcano Area with its lush forests filled with exotic plants and animals. No one ever said vacations in Costa Rica would not be gorgeous!

Vacations in Costa Rica Offer a Little Culture

As you plan your stay in Guanacaste resorts, you might appreciate learning a little bit about the local culture. The region is rich in culture and even takes its name from the word “quahnacaztlan” which is actually the word for the Guanacaste tree in the native language. This tree also happens to be the national tree of the country. Vacations here, especially those at Guanacaste beach rentals, will allow you the opportunity to see what the real Costa Rica is all about.

The Best Way to Reach Your Guanacaste Beach Rentals

Because it is a foreign country, vacations in Costa Rica do take some planning. The easiest way to reach Guanacaste resorts is to fly into Liberia and land at the Daniel Oduber International Airport. From the airport, you may either rent a car or take a bus through Guanacaste up the Pan-American Highway which is quite scenic. You will even catch a glimpse of the volcanoes on your way.
