  • 1st class Accommodations. Excellent customer service. Will be back!!

"My family and I just returned from our first trip to Costa Rica. What a fabulous family vacation! My wife, 3 adult children and I were all very impressed with both the professionalism of the management company (especially Bob and Karla) as well as the 1st class accommodations at this rental home. Karla did a bang-up job setting-up all of our transportation needs for the week. Our drivers were punctual, personable and drove late model, fully air conditioned vehicles. Karla was available to arrange tours, massages, rentals and the like, however, we did not partake as we had already made our own arrangements beforehand for 2 tours. Upon arriving at the house on day 1, Bob was waiting for us and he gave us a quick tour of the house. Upon telling him that our driver did not have time to stop at the supermarket (automercado), due to delays from construction traffic on the way back from the airport - I thought I was still in NY- he promptly offered to to take my son and I food shopping as well as showing us some of the better restaurants and shops in town. A great way to start a vacation, no doubt. The house itself was clean, spacious and well appointed with quality bedding (my wife wants a new bed now thank you very much). My 25 yr old son slept on the pull-out couch and had no complaints- not many 25 yr olds would I expect. Although I was a little concerned beforehand about the "outdoor" showers, they were exceptionally private and, to be honest were, for lack of a better word - "very cool"- no pun intended. We pretty much walked everywhere we needed to go with occasional cab rides($5-$6) back to the house late at night due to being just plain tired rather than safety concerns. There is a cut-through to reach the beach (5 min), 10 minutes to the Beach Club and 15 minutes to town. The weather was a little windy but consistently warm (surprisingly low humidity) and sunny every day. We had no problems with bugs at all at the house or in town. Note: If you plan on buying a SIM card for your cell phone, get it at the airport? - Tamarindo does not sell them anywhere in town. Kind of a pain so we just used skype as needed. We left this house, this town, fully intent on doing it all over again in the (hopefully) foreseeable future. I highly recommed both the property and management company! Thanks again Bob and Karla for a treasured memory."

  • Location, Location, Location!

"This is my forth trip to Costa Rica and this little slice of paradise tops the list for best accommodations and best location. Very private beach and all the extras you could need including a beautiful large spacious infinity pool. The restaurant on property; Picante is wonderful and you can’t beat the service. While the resort has a very private feel, it has very easy access to Coco where there are many choices of restaurants, shops, and grocery stores. The Villa is very spacious, comfortable, and well stocked with anything you could need. Our group of 8 was very comfortable and plenty of room for all. The newly renovated kitchen is beautiful! We spent a lot of our time on the patio overlooking the beach and thoroughly enjoyed the views, the sounds, and the wildlife. The reception office with Alfredo, Isabel, and Cesar was very accommodating; always there with anything you need. Isabel set up our zip line tour at Borinquen and Cesar gave us the best directions; highly recommend this trip! Lastly, I must say how wonderful the owners of this villa are; Carolanne and Alvin were so helpful in setting up a wonderful, memorable, unforgettable vacation for all. We will definitely be back to Bahia Pez Vela! -Dorothy T. and Family Houston, TX"

  • Great place close to the beach

"We loved staying at this place. I was there myself with 2 other girlfriends and it exceeded our expectations. it was very clean. he sofa was super comfy I almost fell asleep there. The place is a really short walk to the beach, and we rented bikes to get everywhere in town. We had a blast and I will definitely recommend the place to others."

  • Excelente or Superb

"We traveled to Costa Rica for our first time with 2 teenagers and 2 preteens. When we arrived at Villa Buena Vista, we were all very impressed with the layout, the grounds, the views and overall ambiance. The home is furnished very well with a great kitchen, wonderful pool which felt very good at the end of the day. The maid and groundskeeper just added to the overall experience. The two beaches close by are exceptional and relatively quiet. Jorge, the property manager, was a real asset and always very helpful. All in all, we give it our highest recommendation. We cannot wait to go back!!!!"

Guanacaste Travel Tips

Guanacaste Beach Rentals Give You the Real Costa Rica

If you are looking for long summer days on beautiful coastlines, Guanacaste beach rentals are for you. Vacations in Costa Rica can be filled with activities, sun, and sand. Enjoy the stunning shoreline, top-notch surfing, snorkeling, and so much more when you stay at Guanacaste resorts. The province is the perfect vacation destination for the whole family or the ideal spot for a romantic honeymoon.

Breathtaking Vistas within the Guanacaste Resorts Regions

All along the eastern borders of the province you will find a chain of volcanoes, many of which are visible from some Guanacaste beach rentals. The volcanoes meet the Cordillera de Tilaran and Cordillera de Guanacaste mountain ranges and offer plenty of hiking, mountain biking, and other high elevation activities. The views in this region are particularly breathtaking, especially when you reach Rincon de la Vieja Volcano Area with its lush forests filled with exotic plants and animals. No one ever said vacations in Costa Rica would not be gorgeous!

Vacations in Costa Rica Offer a Little Culture

As you plan your stay in Guanacaste resorts, you might appreciate learning a little bit about the local culture. The region is rich in culture and even takes its name from the word “quahnacaztlan” which is actually the word for the Guanacaste tree in the native language. This tree also happens to be the national tree of the country. Vacations here, especially those at Guanacaste beach rentals, will allow you the opportunity to see what the real Costa Rica is all about.

The Best Way to Reach Your Guanacaste Beach Rentals

Because it is a foreign country, vacations in Costa Rica do take some planning. The easiest way to reach Guanacaste resorts is to fly into Liberia and land at the Daniel Oduber International Airport. From the airport, you may either rent a car or take a bus through Guanacaste up the Pan-American Highway which is quite scenic. You will even catch a glimpse of the volcanoes on your way.
