"My two young sons and I had a fantastic week in this house. Richard was super helpful and basically was a concierge half our stay - showing us the lesser known gems to visit in the area. This home is isolated enough that it felt like a nice private hideaway but was relatively close to beaches, restaurants, etc. We would definitely go back. Gracias Richard!"Guest: Ctworkingmom Date of Stay: April 2014 Review Submitted: May 7, 2014View listing
"Just returned for a second time at this condo. It's been about 7 years and what a difference. The grounds and pool area have grown in to provide a lush tropical setting once you leave the door. The condo has loads of upgrades with an up to date kitchen and washer & drier. Each room has a private balcony with a bathroom. The location and style allows you to feel the Costa Rican culture, it's located on a quiet dirt road away from the more heavily traveled tourist areas. The location is 5mins walk to the beach and town. Tamarindo remains a down to earth Costa Rican town, but we did find a few new restaurants that were adding a touch of global panache to the local scene. We hit local spots for awesome fried red snapper served Tico style with head & tail, and found a new Argentine location serving home made noodles. This is a great location for anyone that wants the beach town lifestyle of Costa Rica, highly suggest renting this modern up to date condo in a super spot."Guest: Marching Date of Stay: September 2014 Review Submitted: September 27, 2014View listing
"This is my forth trip to Costa Rica and this little slice of paradise tops the list for best accommodations and best location. Very private beach and all the extras you could need including a beautiful large spacious infinity pool. The restaurant on property; Picante is wonderful and you can’t beat the service. While the resort has a very private feel, it has very easy access to Coco where there are many choices of restaurants, shops, and grocery stores. The Villa is very spacious, comfortable, and well stocked with anything you could need. Our group of 8 was very comfortable and plenty of room for all. The newly renovated kitchen is beautiful! We spent a lot of our time on the patio overlooking the beach and thoroughly enjoyed the views, the sounds, and the wildlife. The reception office with Alfredo, Isabel, and Cesar was very accommodating; always there with anything you need. Isabel set up our zip line tour at Borinquen and Cesar gave us the best directions; highly recommend this trip! Lastly, I must say how wonderful the owners of this villa are; Carolanne and Alvin were so helpful in setting up a wonderful, memorable, unforgettable vacation for all. We will definitely be back to Bahia Pez Vela! -Dorothy T. and Family Houston, TX"Guest: Dorothy T. Date of Stay: July 2014 Review Submitted: July 13, 2014View listing
Guanacaste Travel Tips
Guanacaste Beach Rentals Give You the Real Costa Rica
If you are looking for long summer days on beautiful coastlines, Guanacaste beach rentals are for you. Vacations in Costa Rica can be filled with activities, sun, and sand. Enjoy the stunning shoreline, top-notch surfing, snorkeling, and so much more when you stay at Guanacaste resorts. The province is the perfect vacation destination for the whole family or the ideal spot for a romantic honeymoon.
Breathtaking Vistas within the Guanacaste Resorts Regions
All along the eastern borders of the province you will find a chain of volcanoes, many of which are visible from some Guanacaste beach rentals. The volcanoes meet the Cordillera de Tilaran and Cordillera de Guanacaste mountain ranges and offer plenty of hiking, mountain biking, and other high elevation activities. The views in this region are particularly breathtaking, especially when you reach Rincon de la Vieja Volcano Area with its lush forests filled with exotic plants and animals. No one ever said vacations in Costa Rica would not be gorgeous!
Vacations in Costa Rica Offer a Little Culture
As you plan your stay in Guanacaste resorts, you might appreciate learning a little bit about the local culture. The region is rich in culture and even takes its name from the word “quahnacaztlan” which is actually the word for the Guanacaste tree in the native language. This tree also happens to be the national tree of the country. Vacations here, especially those at Guanacaste beach rentals, will allow you the opportunity to see what the real Costa Rica is all about.
The Best Way to Reach Your Guanacaste Beach Rentals
Because it is a foreign country, vacations in Costa Rica do take some planning. The easiest way to reach Guanacaste resorts is to fly into Liberia and land at the Daniel Oduber International Airport. From the airport, you may either rent a car or take a bus through Guanacaste up the Pan-American Highway which is quite scenic. You will even catch a glimpse of the volcanoes on your way.
