  • Beautiful Samara

"We just got back from a wonderful stay at this condo. We have a lot of great things to say about it: - the view is spectacular - the ocean and nature noises that you can hear from the balcony are wonderful - the condo is surrounded by trees and greenery that is home to howler monkeys and a lot of other wildlife that is so amazing to watch - the location is great. It is very close to the beach and town but not so close that you hear the bars (which can be loud) at night -it is great to have a covered parking stall right in front of the condo -the pool is great and not crowded -the kitchen is well stocked - the air conditioning, fans and curtains do a great job of keeping the place cool - the town that it is located it, Samara, is fantastic! We do have one negative thing to say about this condo. The drains really smell bad, especially the smell coming from the shower in the master bathroom. The property manager sent one of the building's handyman in to see if he could help, but he just told us to open the window and then dumped some blue stuff in the drain. The smell was back within a day. My husband, who is a tradesman, says that most likely the plumbing was not done properly allowing a methane/sewage smell into the suite. Other than that our stay at the condo was awesome!"

  • Wonderful place and best hosts

"I recently stayed at the Vila El Sueno de Ocotal, and enjoyed Calin and Silvia's hospitality. Calin offered me a very good price and he did his best to accomodate me there. He also helped me to find a place to stay for the days that he had no availability at his vila, and he also arranged me a transport to, and from the airport. As I did not rent a car, Calin offered to take me to Playas Del Coco to do shoppings, and he also offered me transport to his vila. This vila is very nice, located in an amazing place, with incredible views on the ocean, very nice and very well maintained, nice garden, flowers and plants, wonderful swimming pool, and everything is very clean. It is also very closed to the beautiful Ocotal Beach. I was impressed by Calin and Silvia's hospitality, and I consider them the best hosts I've ever seen. They invited me to breakfast, dinner and supper, and everything was perfect, especially the Thai cuisine. Also Silvia cooked the best pankaces. I was feeling like in family. I would definitely go back, and I recommend this vila to anyone wanting to spend nice and quiet vacations, and to experience the Costa Rica Pura Vida. Calin, Silvia, I already miss you and Costa Rica, but I will be back soon!!!"

  • Great place to relax and enjoy Costa Rica beach

"My 23 year old son and I wanted to have an exotic adventure together and we are so glad we found Casa Pastor! It was even more beautiful than the pictures, clean, open and gorgeous. Since it was only my son and I we only used 2 of the 3 bedrooms, but it would easily handle much more. Everything we needed in the kitchen, boogie boards, umbrella (we arrived at the start of the rainy season, but it was gorgeous in the mornings and most afternoons). Alex and Carol, thank you for sharing your paradise with us, I will be back with my wife next time (and maybe some of our other children). David, your care as the property manager was tremendous, helpful, friendly and always on-time. Thank you for helping us by phone when we got flat tire on the way to Miss Sky zipline."

  • Stunning views, amazing property and great area

"We've just finished our third stay at Villa Oceanis in the last year, and there's a reason we're continually drawn back to this gem in Guanacaste. A perfect size for two couples or a family of 4 or 5, the home has a well equipped kitchen, two beautiful bathrooms, a great picnic table on the deck, adirondack chairs and lounges. But in all likelihood you'll spend you time in the pool enjoying the spectacular views and sunsets. It's a beautiful pool suitable for kids and adults and is always well maintained. The home also has all of the other amenities you could use including stable and fast WIFI, A/C in the bedrooms with great patio doors at each end for breezes, a tv with Sky satellite (about 10 english channels), a gated driveway, washer and dryer (though you're provided with more than enough towels and plenty of handy drying racks for bathings suits). They've also thoughtfully included some paperbacks, bug spray, a lantern (there are not streetlights in the area), binoculars, maps and books about Costa Rica, and the list goes on. The home is on a beautiful beach for walking and surfing, but if you are looking to swim there are options a few minutes away by car. The area has a few great restaurants around including the one at Hotel Igauanzul (you can walk here), Amigo's, Latinos, Lola's Deeveena and others which are few minutes away by car. We've also felt incredibly safe in in the area and everyone we've met has been incredibly friendly. Over the last year this vacation rental has only gotten better! Two trees have been cleared out so the view is less obstructed, the indoor and outdoor couches have been replaced/recovered and look great and are comfy, a new privacy wall on the deck which gives it more space, and the yard has some new landscaping which also improves the view. Also new on this trip are Patty and Nicholas the new concierges who live nearby and are incredibly helpful and friendly. They emailed us ahead of our arrival to help with any preparations and had a wonderful set of activities/suggestions/options available (make sure to get a few platters of food from La Ventanas, do the beach sunset dinner, eat Desert at Deeveenas, and release baby turtles if it's happening during your stay). Thank you to Valerie and Patrick (the owners), you're easy to deal with and I hope we meet on a future visit. It was another magical stay and I am already planning a return trip, it truly is paradise."

Guanacaste Travel Tips

Guanacaste Beach Rentals Give You the Real Costa Rica

If you are looking for long summer days on beautiful coastlines, Guanacaste beach rentals are for you. Vacations in Costa Rica can be filled with activities, sun, and sand. Enjoy the stunning shoreline, top-notch surfing, snorkeling, and so much more when you stay at Guanacaste resorts. The province is the perfect vacation destination for the whole family or the ideal spot for a romantic honeymoon.

Breathtaking Vistas within the Guanacaste Resorts Regions

All along the eastern borders of the province you will find a chain of volcanoes, many of which are visible from some Guanacaste beach rentals. The volcanoes meet the Cordillera de Tilaran and Cordillera de Guanacaste mountain ranges and offer plenty of hiking, mountain biking, and other high elevation activities. The views in this region are particularly breathtaking, especially when you reach Rincon de la Vieja Volcano Area with its lush forests filled with exotic plants and animals. No one ever said vacations in Costa Rica would not be gorgeous!

Vacations in Costa Rica Offer a Little Culture

As you plan your stay in Guanacaste resorts, you might appreciate learning a little bit about the local culture. The region is rich in culture and even takes its name from the word “quahnacaztlan” which is actually the word for the Guanacaste tree in the native language. This tree also happens to be the national tree of the country. Vacations here, especially those at Guanacaste beach rentals, will allow you the opportunity to see what the real Costa Rica is all about.

The Best Way to Reach Your Guanacaste Beach Rentals

Because it is a foreign country, vacations in Costa Rica do take some planning. The easiest way to reach Guanacaste resorts is to fly into Liberia and land at the Daniel Oduber International Airport. From the airport, you may either rent a car or take a bus through Guanacaste up the Pan-American Highway which is quite scenic. You will even catch a glimpse of the volcanoes on your way.
