  • Wonderful home, Wonderful Area

"This Villa was just the ticket for our two families (one with 1 child, the other with 3 children). We enjoyed a lot of surfing. The close proximity to the beach (5 minute walk) made it easy for everyone to go back and forth with ease on their own schedule with their own gear. The layout of the house also gave both families their own privacy but were able to come together nicely in the common areas. The house has all the necessities, is well decorated and has beautifully done landscaping. All this made for very relaxing times at the house either near the pool or on one of the two porches. Lots of wildlife around the house. The location is great. Close walk to couple restaurants. We rented golf carts, although not a necessity, this broadened our reach quite a bit. Can walk to everything, but transportation is nice if you wish to explore area. We all felt very safe in this house and in the area in general. Activities: We enjoyed surfing-took lessons and rented boards-utilized aqua tibia, coconut harry's, and the one on the corner near beach access, took nice quad tour with monkey quads, and had much success fishing with fishing nosara. Really enjoyed trying out the different restaurants in the guiones area, had some really good meals. All in all, this property provides a great foundation for a great vacation!"

  • Most Relaxing Vacation Ever!

"I cannot explain how incredibly beautiful this home is and how comfortable my stay was here. It's called the Pericos! It is situated in the hills of the peninsula papagayo, a very upscale, gated, quiet community that all of the elite homes are in. The views from the house are breathtaking and I couldn't get enough of the evening sunsets shimmering on the water and on the incredible edgeless pool!! Each room is so neatly and perfectly decorated and the bathrooms are all very large in size and have a modern feel to them. The master bedroom you will never want to leave because of the views, the comfortable furniture and the bathroom is gorgeous! The landscaping and grounds are spectacular and immaculate and just look beautiful! The staff is great and they are always there to get you whatever you need. They are all very friendly and they keep everything spotless. Meghan was the chef we hired and the food she prepared was better than dining at any 5 star restaurant! Absolutely delicious!! The pool was a perfect temperature and felt so wonderful and refreshing! The edgeless pool is gorgeous and at night it feels as if you were going to swim into the sky as it is all lit up with stars! The weather was perfectly 85 degrees there. The slight breezes that come through make it the perfect, most tropical paradise in the world! Pexs is very attentive to the renters needs and is a great team to work with! They speak both english and spanish which makes it a lot easier to communicate. They are all about making it a vacation that you will love and remember and want to come back to! I would recommend this vacation rental to anyone because it is truly an amazing, magical place!!"

  • Paradise at Casa Paquita

"Our group of 4 adults spent the week of February 7th 2015 at Casa Paquita. The property was fantastic with a great ocean front location. The beautiful pool was a center point of activities where we enjoyed swimming, dining, and fantastic sunsets all with beautiful ocean views and well manicured gardens. The back yard is lushly landscaped with paths leading down to a gate to the ocean. The ocean itself is offers fantastic views and is great for exploring, but the waves come ashore across volcanic rock making swimming directly behind the property impossible. There are some small safe entrances to the ocean nearby and large swimming beaches within walking distances. The living area and kitchen were inviting and well maintained. The upstairs patio offers another great area to relax and enjoy fantastic views. The property, inside and out, is multi-tiered with numerous areas for groups to congregate. There were only 4 of us, but we commented how members of a much larger group could find many places to enjoy a little privacy. The bedrooms are very large and comfortable with vaulted ceilings. The construction quality of the house is top notch, but I found the flamboyant use of tiles in the bathrooms is a little over the top. This is definitely not a new house, but it is well maintained. The housekeeper, Nohemy, was unbelievable. She took care of the property, our laundry, dishes, and breakfast all while helping keep a watchful eye on the property. On the last point the property felt very secure with an electric gate securing the front and a tall, but very nice, fence securing the rear. Finally there is a very sweet and aging dog named smokey there who will bark at strangers, but learns guests immediately. Smokey will keep her distance if desired, but we tried to adopt her during the stay and greatly enjoyed the company of this pet. I have to give final credit to the gardener and pool service who were there daily to keep the place looking its best. I would absolutely go back to Casa Paquita and recommend it to anyone considering a trip to this area of Costa Rica."

Guanacaste Travel Tips

Guanacaste Beach Rentals Give You the Real Costa Rica

If you are looking for long summer days on beautiful coastlines, Guanacaste beach rentals are for you. Vacations in Costa Rica can be filled with activities, sun, and sand. Enjoy the stunning shoreline, top-notch surfing, snorkeling, and so much more when you stay at Guanacaste resorts. The province is the perfect vacation destination for the whole family or the ideal spot for a romantic honeymoon.

Breathtaking Vistas within the Guanacaste Resorts Regions

All along the eastern borders of the province you will find a chain of volcanoes, many of which are visible from some Guanacaste beach rentals. The volcanoes meet the Cordillera de Tilaran and Cordillera de Guanacaste mountain ranges and offer plenty of hiking, mountain biking, and other high elevation activities. The views in this region are particularly breathtaking, especially when you reach Rincon de la Vieja Volcano Area with its lush forests filled with exotic plants and animals. No one ever said vacations in Costa Rica would not be gorgeous!

Vacations in Costa Rica Offer a Little Culture

As you plan your stay in Guanacaste resorts, you might appreciate learning a little bit about the local culture. The region is rich in culture and even takes its name from the word “quahnacaztlan” which is actually the word for the Guanacaste tree in the native language. This tree also happens to be the national tree of the country. Vacations here, especially those at Guanacaste beach rentals, will allow you the opportunity to see what the real Costa Rica is all about.

The Best Way to Reach Your Guanacaste Beach Rentals

Because it is a foreign country, vacations in Costa Rica do take some planning. The easiest way to reach Guanacaste resorts is to fly into Liberia and land at the Daniel Oduber International Airport. From the airport, you may either rent a car or take a bus through Guanacaste up the Pan-American Highway which is quite scenic. You will even catch a glimpse of the volcanoes on your way.
