  • Friends Vacation

"Our original reservation was cancelled and was replace by this beautifull house. Me and my 3 friends really appreciate our stay at this house. We enjoyed a lot the pool and the full kitchen. The house is big enough for everybody. The kitchen is great. We cooked a lot of meal and enjoyed them on the rooftop terrassse. The only negetive this was that we have a lot of trouble with the washing machine and the toilet of the powder room wasn't flushing."

  • Excellent Villa

"Our family of four stayed in the Hermosa Heights Villa for a week trip to Costa Rica. Located just 25 minutes from the airport, it is very convenient. Playa Hermosa is just down the road and you can walk if you like. Playa del Coco is just a short 8 minute car ride or $10 cab ride and it has has tons of restaurants, bars, shops, and a large beach. Playa Potrero and Flamingo is just 1.15 hours and Tamarindo is about 1.75 hours by car. The villa is large with a great deck and view of the ocean. All amenities and A/C is included! Recommend renting a car if you want to see the coast - very easy from airport. Would stay there again. Owner is very nice and responsive and the property management team were excellent and prompt."

  • Look No Further for the Perfect Beach Vacation!

"We stayed at Casa del Mar, their house next door, two years ago, and we just knew we had to come back to Playa Grande. This time, we decided to try Casa Syl Mar. We knew that it would have the same great view, the same wonderful staff, and the same excellent hosts, so we didn't think we would have any real surprises. But, of course, we were pleasantly surprised to see just how beautiful this house is. I think it might be the prettiest house on the beach. You really can't go wrong with this place. Playa Grande is a great place if you like things a little quiet and love the outdoors. Boogie boarding and surfing here are just amazing (we took lessons from Doug and Kieley at Frijoles Locos) because of the consistent breaks. We also highly recommend doing the Estuary Tour through Jonathon at the Hotel Las Tortugas. This is a canoe trip into the salt water estuary where we saw hundreds of birds, crocodiles, and got a great close-up view of a troop of howler monkeys. Avoid the smelly, noisy motor boats. You won't see nearly as much wildlife (and they are, technically, illegal anyway). Ask about the fresh fish truck too! Gabriela helped us get some wonderful fish delivered right to us. Fantastic! Seriously, you just don't need to keep looking. I promise you won't regret staying here!"

Guanacaste Travel Tips

Guanacaste Beach Rentals Give You the Real Costa Rica

If you are looking for long summer days on beautiful coastlines, Guanacaste beach rentals are for you. Vacations in Costa Rica can be filled with activities, sun, and sand. Enjoy the stunning shoreline, top-notch surfing, snorkeling, and so much more when you stay at Guanacaste resorts. The province is the perfect vacation destination for the whole family or the ideal spot for a romantic honeymoon.

Breathtaking Vistas within the Guanacaste Resorts Regions

All along the eastern borders of the province you will find a chain of volcanoes, many of which are visible from some Guanacaste beach rentals. The volcanoes meet the Cordillera de Tilaran and Cordillera de Guanacaste mountain ranges and offer plenty of hiking, mountain biking, and other high elevation activities. The views in this region are particularly breathtaking, especially when you reach Rincon de la Vieja Volcano Area with its lush forests filled with exotic plants and animals. No one ever said vacations in Costa Rica would not be gorgeous!

Vacations in Costa Rica Offer a Little Culture

As you plan your stay in Guanacaste resorts, you might appreciate learning a little bit about the local culture. The region is rich in culture and even takes its name from the word “quahnacaztlan” which is actually the word for the Guanacaste tree in the native language. This tree also happens to be the national tree of the country. Vacations here, especially those at Guanacaste beach rentals, will allow you the opportunity to see what the real Costa Rica is all about.

The Best Way to Reach Your Guanacaste Beach Rentals

Because it is a foreign country, vacations in Costa Rica do take some planning. The easiest way to reach Guanacaste resorts is to fly into Liberia and land at the Daniel Oduber International Airport. From the airport, you may either rent a car or take a bus through Guanacaste up the Pan-American Highway which is quite scenic. You will even catch a glimpse of the volcanoes on your way.
