  • Beautiful Condo

"Our family of 4 (48,47,16, and 13) just returned from a wonderful week at Casa Solamar in Sunrise Condos, Tamarindo. The condo is beautiful and very well appointed--towels, sheets, dishes, 2 blenders, large DVD collection, etc...The complex is great with 24/7 security and a gorgeous pool with a waterfall. Plenty of recliners by the pool. Sunrise is directly across the street from the beach right in the center of Tamarindo. There are 2 food stores right outside and restaraunts everywhere (try Eat at Joe's for huge nachos). Jonathan and the others at Vacation Rentals of Tamarindo were great to deal with and helped us book the condo, ziplining, estuary tour, and our van rides to and from liberia airport (side note--DO NOT wait to buy food at the airport it is monsterously expensive--like $40 for 2 burgers and 1 fries!!) We truly loved the condo and our visit to Tamarindo and feel it was our best vacation EVER! We took surf lessons from Costa Rica Surf Club-right next to the VRT office and they were great. Thanks! Hope to see you again!! Tom D and family."

  • Wonderful place and best hosts

"I recently stayed at the Vila El Sueno de Ocotal, and enjoyed Calin and Silvia's hospitality. Calin offered me a very good price and he did his best to accomodate me there. He also helped me to find a place to stay for the days that he had no availability at his vila, and he also arranged me a transport to, and from the airport. As I did not rent a car, Calin offered to take me to Playas Del Coco to do shoppings, and he also offered me transport to his vila. This vila is very nice, located in an amazing place, with incredible views on the ocean, very nice and very well maintained, nice garden, flowers and plants, wonderful swimming pool, and everything is very clean. It is also very closed to the beautiful Ocotal Beach. I was impressed by Calin and Silvia's hospitality, and I consider them the best hosts I've ever seen. They invited me to breakfast, dinner and supper, and everything was perfect, especially the Thai cuisine. Also Silvia cooked the best pankaces. I was feeling like in family. I would definitely go back, and I recommend this vila to anyone wanting to spend nice and quiet vacations, and to experience the Costa Rica Pura Vida. Calin, Silvia, I already miss you and Costa Rica, but I will be back soon!!!"

  • Best vacation home ever

"9 of us went to Playa Grande for 9 days. 5 of them being teenagers. Everyone loved everything about this house. We can not wait to go back. We try to go on a different vacation every year, but this one will certainly be a repeat. The owner is east to work with and the caretakers are great. The waves were only a 3 minute walk for all of our surfers and boogey boarders. Next door is a great restaurant Seven and a small convenience store that has everything you could possibly need."

Guanacaste Travel Tips

Guanacaste Beach Rentals Give You the Real Costa Rica

If you are looking for long summer days on beautiful coastlines, Guanacaste beach rentals are for you. Vacations in Costa Rica can be filled with activities, sun, and sand. Enjoy the stunning shoreline, top-notch surfing, snorkeling, and so much more when you stay at Guanacaste resorts. The province is the perfect vacation destination for the whole family or the ideal spot for a romantic honeymoon.

Breathtaking Vistas within the Guanacaste Resorts Regions

All along the eastern borders of the province you will find a chain of volcanoes, many of which are visible from some Guanacaste beach rentals. The volcanoes meet the Cordillera de Tilaran and Cordillera de Guanacaste mountain ranges and offer plenty of hiking, mountain biking, and other high elevation activities. The views in this region are particularly breathtaking, especially when you reach Rincon de la Vieja Volcano Area with its lush forests filled with exotic plants and animals. No one ever said vacations in Costa Rica would not be gorgeous!

Vacations in Costa Rica Offer a Little Culture

As you plan your stay in Guanacaste resorts, you might appreciate learning a little bit about the local culture. The region is rich in culture and even takes its name from the word “quahnacaztlan” which is actually the word for the Guanacaste tree in the native language. This tree also happens to be the national tree of the country. Vacations here, especially those at Guanacaste beach rentals, will allow you the opportunity to see what the real Costa Rica is all about.

The Best Way to Reach Your Guanacaste Beach Rentals

Because it is a foreign country, vacations in Costa Rica do take some planning. The easiest way to reach Guanacaste resorts is to fly into Liberia and land at the Daniel Oduber International Airport. From the airport, you may either rent a car or take a bus through Guanacaste up the Pan-American Highway which is quite scenic. You will even catch a glimpse of the volcanoes on your way.
