  • Great Vacation!

"We stayed at Villa Corazon Del Mar for a week in March. The weather was beautiful! The house was awesome- we had three couples, & there was plenty of space! The furnishings in the house were a little older, but they were comfortable & did the job! We didn't spend much time inside anyways- we lounged by the beautiful pool all day & went walking on the nearly deserted beach in front of the house. We rented golf carts through Eddie- highly recommend! The villa is in close proximity to restaurants, bars, & grocery stops with the use of the golf carts. Dervin & "G" provided transportation as well as tours to the Arenal volcano, sunset catamaran cruise, & a fishing trip for the guys. The guys thought it was one of the best fishing trips they've done- caught lots of fish, & the boat crew was outstanding! We had one hiccup with transportation after our catamaran cruise, but Dervin was professional & handled it well! Highly recommend them! Tomas & Janet were awesome- they were always working hard to make sure the house was clean & maintained. They cooked us a couple awesome dinners, & Janet gave two terrific massages! The owner, Joan, was super & easy to work with. She answered any & all questions promptly & checked in on us while we were there. Overall, we had a great trip & enjoyed the relaxing nature of Villa Corazon Del Mar. We would highly recommend it to anyone!"

  • A Perfect Family Vacation

"We just returned from two glorious weeks spent at Ventana Del Mar in Puerto Carrillo. As with other reviewers our trip was a multi-generational event that included 8 adults and three children, ages 1,3, and 5. I have rented numerous properties through VRBO but never dealt with a more responsive owner than Michael. Given the size of our group and our diverse needs I barraged Michael with a plethora of questions and requests which were all responded to very promptly. Michael went out of his way to ensure that our family vacation was the best ever and he accomplished that, hands down! The house perfectly met our needs. One family stayed in the separate apartment and the rest of us in the house. The kids and grand kids spent hours frolicking in the swimming pool, which to my surprise was comfortably warm without being heated. Our concerns about the young ones and the pool were allayed with the barriers that were put up to allow adult only access to the pool. The grand living room provided us with hours of evening entertainment with competitive games of Settlers of Catan (the kids are hooked on it). The Wi-Fi connection was great. The beach is a 5-minute walk from the house. It is pristine! We took hourly walks each evening and observed the sunset while in the water. It is one of the nicest and cleanest beaches I have ever seen. We organized a number of activities through a local tour company, including a Canopy Tour (zip-lining) in which every one of participated, including, the 1-year old, who zip-lined with his father and the 3 and 5-year old, who braved it on their own. We also went on a Dolphin tour, saw lots of them and went snorkeling over the reef near Playa Samara. We vacillated on renting cars and decided not to, which was a good decision as we were picked up from the house for all of the activities and on the odd occasion where we ventured to Samara we took a cab. The kitchen is very functional and well stocked with dishes and other implements. Garardo was very helpful and even prepared a few delicious ceviches for us. El Colibri, across the street, is a very convenient and good Argentinian Steak House. Their chimichurri is outstanding! There was not one glitch in the entire two weeks we spent at Ventana del Mar. It was the best family vacation ever!"

  • Primo Property

"We arrived at Montelaguna Residence on February 1st, 2015 and departed March 31st. This condo unit is one of the most beautifully appointed, well-equipped condos that we have ever had the good fortune to stay in. There is every available kitchen utensil, bath towels or any other amenity you can imagine. The beds are comfortable and the layout of this condo is superb. Because of the beautiful long balcony accessed by the master bedroom, living room and dining room sliding doors, made the use of the air continuing unnecessary. Beautiful stainless steel appliances including an ice-maker water maker fridge which we found quite useful. Great supply of reading material, movies to watch and cd's to play. All in all, with the addition of the huge private pool and with the luxury of choosing Samara Beach or Carillo beach which are only a stones throw away, this property was pure bliss. And for the above reasons, that's why we have already booked this unit for next year!"

Guanacaste Travel Tips

Guanacaste Beach Rentals Give You the Real Costa Rica

If you are looking for long summer days on beautiful coastlines, Guanacaste beach rentals are for you. Vacations in Costa Rica can be filled with activities, sun, and sand. Enjoy the stunning shoreline, top-notch surfing, snorkeling, and so much more when you stay at Guanacaste resorts. The province is the perfect vacation destination for the whole family or the ideal spot for a romantic honeymoon.

Breathtaking Vistas within the Guanacaste Resorts Regions

All along the eastern borders of the province you will find a chain of volcanoes, many of which are visible from some Guanacaste beach rentals. The volcanoes meet the Cordillera de Tilaran and Cordillera de Guanacaste mountain ranges and offer plenty of hiking, mountain biking, and other high elevation activities. The views in this region are particularly breathtaking, especially when you reach Rincon de la Vieja Volcano Area with its lush forests filled with exotic plants and animals. No one ever said vacations in Costa Rica would not be gorgeous!

Vacations in Costa Rica Offer a Little Culture

As you plan your stay in Guanacaste resorts, you might appreciate learning a little bit about the local culture. The region is rich in culture and even takes its name from the word “quahnacaztlan” which is actually the word for the Guanacaste tree in the native language. This tree also happens to be the national tree of the country. Vacations here, especially those at Guanacaste beach rentals, will allow you the opportunity to see what the real Costa Rica is all about.

The Best Way to Reach Your Guanacaste Beach Rentals

Because it is a foreign country, vacations in Costa Rica do take some planning. The easiest way to reach Guanacaste resorts is to fly into Liberia and land at the Daniel Oduber International Airport. From the airport, you may either rent a car or take a bus through Guanacaste up the Pan-American Highway which is quite scenic. You will even catch a glimpse of the volcanoes on your way.
