  • Great Stay!

"My family (brother, brother’s fiancée, father) and myself went to Costa Rica for vacation. After spending some time in the rainforest we headed to the beach. We stayed in villa 19 at Los Almendros and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The views out the back of the villa were amazing, overlooking the water. The villa was clean and modern and air conditioned – which after days in the jungle, hot and wet, being cool and dry was wonderful! The villa is well stocked with entertainment choices (flat screen tv, wifi, computer, books, movies etc.) in case you need some time inside. The kitchen is ready to cook in and easy to find items in – always a plus. There were also lots of little things to make your stay nicer like plenty of towels, a hairdryer, safe, and access to the washer and dryer. All the pillows and beds were comfortable and everyone in our group was comfortable temperature wise since each room had its own A/C unit. The sound of crashing waves lulled us to sleep every night. A few steps down from the villa is the sparkling pool, complete with lounging hammocks under shades. Just a bit further down the hill is the main entrance where you’ll find security and the dive shop. If you continue walking from there you’ll find yourself at Father Rooster’s (a restaurant and bar) on the beach. It’s probably about a 5 minute walk from the back door of the villa to the beach. A short drive down the road is Playas del Coco where you will find tourist shops, dive shops, restaurants, the grocery store etc. It’s a very short drive. We did scuba from Coco, we saw sharks, a ray, tons of fish and generally had a great time. I would highly recommend this villa as a base of operations for your costal explorations in Costa Rica!"

  • Sam Wray

"My wife, daughter and a her friend stayed here for 2 weeks this last winter. We had a lovely time and this place was everything that was advertised and more. Very well maintained. Freddy was not only a great caretaker but became a good friend. He made sure we were happy with everything. We really enjoyed the horses and riding on the beach and through the forest. I simply cannot say enough good about this place. If you choose to go here you will not be disappointed."

  • 60th Birthday Celebration

"Off the grid but the view was out of this world! Would definately stay again. Raphael at Rancho Loma Clara was very helpful and appetizers, drinks and meals were all wonderful!!! The house was perfect for space, solitude, quiet and the view and pool of course! The instructions were a little lacking, and kitchen could use a little update with fridge shelving, and utensils/dish towels & cloths as well as no spices or staples. Bath towels and matts could do with updating too. Shop at the bigger stores before getting to Coyote for all your main food items and pick up fruit from the roadside vendors for best fresh fruits. Thanks for sharing your house, we had a wonderful time!!!!"

Guanacaste Travel Tips

Guanacaste Beach Rentals Give You the Real Costa Rica

If you are looking for long summer days on beautiful coastlines, Guanacaste beach rentals are for you. Vacations in Costa Rica can be filled with activities, sun, and sand. Enjoy the stunning shoreline, top-notch surfing, snorkeling, and so much more when you stay at Guanacaste resorts. The province is the perfect vacation destination for the whole family or the ideal spot for a romantic honeymoon.

Breathtaking Vistas within the Guanacaste Resorts Regions

All along the eastern borders of the province you will find a chain of volcanoes, many of which are visible from some Guanacaste beach rentals. The volcanoes meet the Cordillera de Tilaran and Cordillera de Guanacaste mountain ranges and offer plenty of hiking, mountain biking, and other high elevation activities. The views in this region are particularly breathtaking, especially when you reach Rincon de la Vieja Volcano Area with its lush forests filled with exotic plants and animals. No one ever said vacations in Costa Rica would not be gorgeous!

Vacations in Costa Rica Offer a Little Culture

As you plan your stay in Guanacaste resorts, you might appreciate learning a little bit about the local culture. The region is rich in culture and even takes its name from the word “quahnacaztlan” which is actually the word for the Guanacaste tree in the native language. This tree also happens to be the national tree of the country. Vacations here, especially those at Guanacaste beach rentals, will allow you the opportunity to see what the real Costa Rica is all about.

The Best Way to Reach Your Guanacaste Beach Rentals

Because it is a foreign country, vacations in Costa Rica do take some planning. The easiest way to reach Guanacaste resorts is to fly into Liberia and land at the Daniel Oduber International Airport. From the airport, you may either rent a car or take a bus through Guanacaste up the Pan-American Highway which is quite scenic. You will even catch a glimpse of the volcanoes on your way.
