  • My kids want to move here!

"My two young sons and I had a fantastic week in this house. Richard was super helpful and basically was a concierge half our stay - showing us the lesser known gems to visit in the area. This home is isolated enough that it felt like a nice private hideaway but was relatively close to beaches, restaurants, etc. We would definitely go back. Gracias Richard!"

  • perfect!

"Villa Mirador is exactly as described—if not better. Mary-Ellen, the owner, is absolutely amazing. She was extremely helpful, organized, prompt, friendly and passionate about her properties. The on-site manager, Daniel, was very helpful as well. He does not speak English—so be prepared if you do not speak Spanish. Just ask Mary-Ellen questions ahead of time. The house has everything you should need—even a crib for our little one. The views and pool were amazing! We spent several late afternoons relaxing in the pool and patio area. There were (3) bedrooms downstairs and (1) upstairs. Air conditioner worked great in the rooms; however, there is no ac in the main living areas. The house is designed to be an open concept which for the most part does not require ac in the living areas. This particular home is probably the smallest in Samara Reefs; however, it is off on its own providing you plenty of privacy. If you need a little more room (5th bedroom) I would contact Mary-Ellen about her other property in Samara Reefs. Daniel actually took us over to view it and it was amazing. Very large pool—you could do laps in it and the house is a little bigger. Villa Mirador was perfect for our party of 6 adults and 2 kids. Samara is a very nice beach town with friendly people and plenty to do and several great restaurants. I would recommend a car—we picked up our car rental from the airport. With traffic it is 1 hour and 40 mins. Without traffic we did it in 1 hour 15 mins; however, I did the drive 4 times in a week so I was very familiar with the roads. Overall this property is truly amazing. The only small little issue we had was the light drapes in the bedrooms. Our 3 and 1 year old woke up super early each morning which caused for some long days! I would absolutely come back to Samara Reefs and stay at Villa Mirador again."

  • Exquisite, beautiful, and very restful!

"We travel quite extensively and found this apartment lovely--very well appointed kitchen, comfortable furniture and beds, and spotless. Friends stayed in the other apartments and we had a great time enjoying drinks, snacks, and meals in three units/ All are spacious and elegantly decorated. The pool and surroundinggardens are beautiful. We loved the howler monkeys, turtle nesting, and spectacular birds. Set atop a mountain overlooking the ocean and the Nosara beaches, this site provides beautiful views--morning, noon, and night. The nearby La Garta nature preserve provides a great morning walk and the La Garta lodge's Sunset Bar offers a great place for sunset (if one feels like leaving the apartment). Bibi is a very gracious host. We had a wonderful stay and recommend the property very highly."

  • Charlie S

"My wife and I visited from Sept 20-27, 2014 and had a great time! We continuously enjoyed the beautiful views from the porch, pool and from inside the house. Carl's directions made getting there very easy and the local map provided made travel in Nosara simple and fun. We took walks to the river, saw monkeys (some with little babies), many birds, and animals. The store was easy to get to for supplies and the people were very friendly. The house was perfect and whether you want to take long hikes or sit by the pool this is the place! We felt very safe and secure and the privacy of being on a dead end road was great. We would highly recommend this beautiful oasis to anyone visiting Costa Rica as this house is simply perfect!"

Guanacaste Travel Tips

Guanacaste Beach Rentals Give You the Real Costa Rica

If you are looking for long summer days on beautiful coastlines, Guanacaste beach rentals are for you. Vacations in Costa Rica can be filled with activities, sun, and sand. Enjoy the stunning shoreline, top-notch surfing, snorkeling, and so much more when you stay at Guanacaste resorts. The province is the perfect vacation destination for the whole family or the ideal spot for a romantic honeymoon.

Breathtaking Vistas within the Guanacaste Resorts Regions

All along the eastern borders of the province you will find a chain of volcanoes, many of which are visible from some Guanacaste beach rentals. The volcanoes meet the Cordillera de Tilaran and Cordillera de Guanacaste mountain ranges and offer plenty of hiking, mountain biking, and other high elevation activities. The views in this region are particularly breathtaking, especially when you reach Rincon de la Vieja Volcano Area with its lush forests filled with exotic plants and animals. No one ever said vacations in Costa Rica would not be gorgeous!

Vacations in Costa Rica Offer a Little Culture

As you plan your stay in Guanacaste resorts, you might appreciate learning a little bit about the local culture. The region is rich in culture and even takes its name from the word “quahnacaztlan” which is actually the word for the Guanacaste tree in the native language. This tree also happens to be the national tree of the country. Vacations here, especially those at Guanacaste beach rentals, will allow you the opportunity to see what the real Costa Rica is all about.

The Best Way to Reach Your Guanacaste Beach Rentals

Because it is a foreign country, vacations in Costa Rica do take some planning. The easiest way to reach Guanacaste resorts is to fly into Liberia and land at the Daniel Oduber International Airport. From the airport, you may either rent a car or take a bus through Guanacaste up the Pan-American Highway which is quite scenic. You will even catch a glimpse of the volcanoes on your way.
