  • Fantastic Experience

"This was our 2nd trip to Costa Rica, but this time we brought along my mother in law (77 years old) and two boys (2 years old and 18 years old). The property was amazing with fantastically decorated rooms and unbelievable views. Candace was very helpful when working with us to plan the perfect experience for our family. Velma greeted us each morning with a fantastic breakfast and steaming hot coffee. Alex took us on horseback rides through the rainforest which included the Macadamia Nut Farm. This house was built to provide for large families or groups, but cozy enough for our party of 5. This home is the perfect vacation spot for anyone wishing to experience Costa Rica since it is so convenient to Nuevo Arenal (my most favorite town in Costa Rica!!!), zip line adventures, Arenal Hanging Bridges, Eco Termales, ect. We had a fantastic time!!! :)"

  • Wonderful location, perfect for a group!

"We rented this beautiful Costa Rican home for a week in August and could not have been happier with our choice. The location was exactly what I was after....peaceful retreat with a pool and on the beach, in a good central location in Playas Del Coco from which we could explore when and if we wanted to do so. There were only three of us but the location and property were right so we did it and are glad that we did. The house is plenty big enough for many more people to stay and have privacy. Because of the way the rooms are situated the property may not be the best choice if you have very young children that you would wan to have in their own room.....they could sleep in the loft area of the second floor outside of the master bedroom I guess but otherwise it would be difficult to have them near you. The photos are accurate. The house is well kept and clean. I will note because it may be important to some - there was only 1 TV, no DVD player, and no iron. We did not ask because we did not miss them beyond noticing that they were listed but not at the property. Unless you want to stay put, you really should rent a car or have some form of transportation...not that the town or other services are so far but in the heat even the .5km walk to a very small, not full service market would be a chore- not what I want on vacation. The main down is maybe 1.5-2km from the house. The beach is peaceful and beautiful. The sand is clean and free of rocks. The water is clear. The pool was perfect size and refreshing. We would absolutely stay here again."

  • Excellent Stay!

"We really enjoyed our stay at this house. Very comfortable and had most amenities that we needed. Nir was so helpful and really nice. When we had a problem with the refrigerator he had it fixed as soon as possible and supplied us with a cooler until it was fixed. It was just a short walk to the beautiful beach and the pool was refreshing when we were at the house. This was our first time in Costa Rica and we had an awesome vacation. I would highly recommend it! An overall great experience and we would stay here again when we return."

  • Luxurious Craftsmanship, Friendship, Comfort & Location

"Our stay at Casa Paquita was absolutely amazing! Invited by our son-in-law's family for a birthday celebration, the nine in our group had plenty of space and amenities to make every moment spectacular. Noemi, the housekeeper, made our stay especially remarkable. From awakening each morning to her delicious coffee, to bedding down each night in our spotless room, she made every waking moment a pleasure. She never tired of our constant requests to help us learn Spanish and we had many warm conversations with her to learn about the local culture. At our request, she made many excellent recommendations of little-known places to visit and prepared mouth-watering local dishes for us. She did our laundry, arranged massages by pool and even located a fishing pole for my husband to use on Casa Paquita's picture-perfect beach. Her warm, nurturing nature made her feel like a member of my family and I already miss her and Smokey, the house dog, greatly. Casa Paquita itself is beautiful. The warm woods of the rounded doors and stairway show meticulous craftsmanship, as do the beautiful tiles throughout. The house is ingeniously built to harness the ocean breezes, from the three story fountain surrounded by the beautifully crafted staircase to the vented eaves in the upper stories and bathrooms. Although air conditioned throughout, conservation of energy has been thoughtfully incorporated into the construction of the home. The infinity pool is well maintained daily and is a wonderful viewpoint from which to enjoy ocean views in pampered comfort. It was the central gathering place for the entire family throughout our stay. We enjoyed beverages using ice from the ice maker with no ill effects, either. The grounds are beautiful, perfectly manicured and shade portions of the pool. We even spotted the occasional iguana and monkey in the trees. Two outdoor showers were beautifully and conveniently located to wash the sand from our beach-soaked bodies. Casa Paquita was easy to locate and only a short drive from Tamarindo. A small store is within walking distance and we were centrally located to explore the local beaches. The gated drive and courtyard made us feel safe and cozy. Overall, Casa Paquita is a magical place to relax, refresh and unwind due to the Pura Vida spirit of Noemi and the other Costa Ricans, like Diego and Luis, our guides to Arenal Volcano National Park and Eddie and Roberto who guided us on the horseback ride of our life at Playa Conchal. The memories a"

Guanacaste Travel Tips

Guanacaste Beach Rentals Give You the Real Costa Rica

If you are looking for long summer days on beautiful coastlines, Guanacaste beach rentals are for you. Vacations in Costa Rica can be filled with activities, sun, and sand. Enjoy the stunning shoreline, top-notch surfing, snorkeling, and so much more when you stay at Guanacaste resorts. The province is the perfect vacation destination for the whole family or the ideal spot for a romantic honeymoon.

Breathtaking Vistas within the Guanacaste Resorts Regions

All along the eastern borders of the province you will find a chain of volcanoes, many of which are visible from some Guanacaste beach rentals. The volcanoes meet the Cordillera de Tilaran and Cordillera de Guanacaste mountain ranges and offer plenty of hiking, mountain biking, and other high elevation activities. The views in this region are particularly breathtaking, especially when you reach Rincon de la Vieja Volcano Area with its lush forests filled with exotic plants and animals. No one ever said vacations in Costa Rica would not be gorgeous!

Vacations in Costa Rica Offer a Little Culture

As you plan your stay in Guanacaste resorts, you might appreciate learning a little bit about the local culture. The region is rich in culture and even takes its name from the word “quahnacaztlan” which is actually the word for the Guanacaste tree in the native language. This tree also happens to be the national tree of the country. Vacations here, especially those at Guanacaste beach rentals, will allow you the opportunity to see what the real Costa Rica is all about.

The Best Way to Reach Your Guanacaste Beach Rentals

Because it is a foreign country, vacations in Costa Rica do take some planning. The easiest way to reach Guanacaste resorts is to fly into Liberia and land at the Daniel Oduber International Airport. From the airport, you may either rent a car or take a bus through Guanacaste up the Pan-American Highway which is quite scenic. You will even catch a glimpse of the volcanoes on your way.
