  • Great Stay!

"My family (brother, brother’s fiancée, father) and myself went to Costa Rica for vacation. After spending some time in the rainforest we headed to the beach. We stayed in villa 19 at Los Almendros and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The views out the back of the villa were amazing, overlooking the water. The villa was clean and modern and air conditioned – which after days in the jungle, hot and wet, being cool and dry was wonderful! The villa is well stocked with entertainment choices (flat screen tv, wifi, computer, books, movies etc.) in case you need some time inside. The kitchen is ready to cook in and easy to find items in – always a plus. There were also lots of little things to make your stay nicer like plenty of towels, a hairdryer, safe, and access to the washer and dryer. All the pillows and beds were comfortable and everyone in our group was comfortable temperature wise since each room had its own A/C unit. The sound of crashing waves lulled us to sleep every night. A few steps down from the villa is the sparkling pool, complete with lounging hammocks under shades. Just a bit further down the hill is the main entrance where you’ll find security and the dive shop. If you continue walking from there you’ll find yourself at Father Rooster’s (a restaurant and bar) on the beach. It’s probably about a 5 minute walk from the back door of the villa to the beach. A short drive down the road is Playas del Coco where you will find tourist shops, dive shops, restaurants, the grocery store etc. It’s a very short drive. We did scuba from Coco, we saw sharks, a ray, tons of fish and generally had a great time. I would highly recommend this villa as a base of operations for your costal explorations in Costa Rica!"

  • Wonderful place for a family holiday!!

"If you are looking for the perfect place for a family holiday get together - this is it!! Our family, five adults and one grandson, spent two weeks in Annette and Tom's Crystal Sands condo and couldn't have been happier. Not only is the location great but the condo couldn't have been better. Lots of room, equipped with everything that you could possibly need and a little bonus, spectacular sunsets viewed from the deck. The condo was well maintained and the maid service was nice to have. The three large bedrooms are like mini suites within the condo giving you your own space to relax. Lola, Natale and the other friendly staff at RPM Property Management were quick to respond to any concerns we had and were great at arranging tours for us. They also made numerous recommendations for things to do and places to go. Going out the gate onto the beach was great for taking walks, searching for sea shells and for walking to town or to nearby swimming and surfing. Our grandson loved the condo pool that we usually had to ourselves. If you have a vehicle, I would recommend making a day trip to the beaches at Playa Conchal and Playa Avellana, both are spectacular. Tamarindo has a great selection of restaurants if you want a break from cooking your own meals. A few recommendations: La Pachanga (Italian), Bamboo Sushi Club, Matty's Deli Cafe (next door to RPM Office), Surf Shack Burger and Wings, Sprout (on the way to Villa Real), La Panderia de Paris (French bakery) and Lola's (on the beach in Playa Avellana). Thanks again to Annette and Tom for providing such a perfect location for our early Christmas family vacation. We can't recommend it highly enough!!!"

  • Paradise!

"We had a fabulous stay here! The villa is located in the upper portion of Bahia Pez Vela. The view was unbelievable. The landscaping at the villa was beautiful, bougainvillea framed the ocean view... pride of ownership shows throughout the villa. The villa was absolutely beautiful, inside and out, and had everything we needed. Although the villa is a steep walk from the main pool, there's another pool on the same level as the villa. We had a car, so sometimes we drove to the main pool, but it would have been nice to have a golf cart. That said, we were just as happy to sit on the patio and admire the view. We were regularly visited by Coatimundi in the morning, Mapache in the evening, and white-throated magpie jays throughout the day... lots of fun! Bahia Pez Vela is a very nice "resort", well maintained, with beautiful landscaping, and nice people. Cesar, at the office was very helpful, and the staff at the restaurant, the gate, and those maintaining the grounds were very friendly. The beach is very quiet and secluded. There weren't many other people staying at Bahia Pez Vela, so we practically had a private beach and pools. Playas del Coco is very close by, for grocery shopping, dining, or an evening out at the many lounges. I can only speak positively of our entire experience with the owners, Verda and Neil, and our stay in Bahia Pez Vela!"

  • Great Villa, Fabulous Community, Terrific Owners

"I had a fabulous Girls getaway for four nights. This is a wonderful villa in great community. Tastefully decorated, great value. Fully stocked condo with everything we needed to cook. Spacious unit, a/c and solid WiFi. Steps to beach and pool with good snorkeling right off the beach. Calm ocean. Resort feels quiet and serene. Picante restaurant on premises. Good food, try the Batten Verde, a blended mojita, yummy! Not open for breakfast. 10 minute drive to shopping, high -end supermarket and nice restaurants. Must have car. Easy access to fun day trips. I went canyoning and tubing. Resort staff is friendly, responsive and English speaking. We had car trouble and they helped us. They even arranged for a massage on beach for me. Owners were terrific to work with. Easy going, nice and friendly. I would definitely go back and next time I’ll even bring my husband and kids."

Guanacaste Travel Tips

Guanacaste Beach Rentals Give You the Real Costa Rica

If you are looking for long summer days on beautiful coastlines, Guanacaste beach rentals are for you. Vacations in Costa Rica can be filled with activities, sun, and sand. Enjoy the stunning shoreline, top-notch surfing, snorkeling, and so much more when you stay at Guanacaste resorts. The province is the perfect vacation destination for the whole family or the ideal spot for a romantic honeymoon.

Breathtaking Vistas within the Guanacaste Resorts Regions

All along the eastern borders of the province you will find a chain of volcanoes, many of which are visible from some Guanacaste beach rentals. The volcanoes meet the Cordillera de Tilaran and Cordillera de Guanacaste mountain ranges and offer plenty of hiking, mountain biking, and other high elevation activities. The views in this region are particularly breathtaking, especially when you reach Rincon de la Vieja Volcano Area with its lush forests filled with exotic plants and animals. No one ever said vacations in Costa Rica would not be gorgeous!

Vacations in Costa Rica Offer a Little Culture

As you plan your stay in Guanacaste resorts, you might appreciate learning a little bit about the local culture. The region is rich in culture and even takes its name from the word “quahnacaztlan” which is actually the word for the Guanacaste tree in the native language. This tree also happens to be the national tree of the country. Vacations here, especially those at Guanacaste beach rentals, will allow you the opportunity to see what the real Costa Rica is all about.

The Best Way to Reach Your Guanacaste Beach Rentals

Because it is a foreign country, vacations in Costa Rica do take some planning. The easiest way to reach Guanacaste resorts is to fly into Liberia and land at the Daniel Oduber International Airport. From the airport, you may either rent a car or take a bus through Guanacaste up the Pan-American Highway which is quite scenic. You will even catch a glimpse of the volcanoes on your way.
