  • Relaxation, Relaxation, Relaxation!

"This is an incredible home, in an incredible setting, with outstanding access to the beach, surf shops (Aqua Tibia), Nosara Town and various upscale restaurants. The home itself was very clean when we arrived, immaculately maintained throughout our stay and the perfect place to unplug (as much as humanly possible . . .. wifi worked great too) and unwind. The house consists of three (3) separate and distinct living units that all share a common backyard, pool, rancho and jungle beach path! I understand that this property, and the awesome beach path, is one of 16 other properties with direct beach access, which made our beach days "turn-key" beach days! The space is perfect for large families that desire a division in living quarters, or a multi-family group rental retreat! Loved the Civeche at Beach Dog Cafe (walking distance), Mojitos at El Chivo Cantina, pretty much everything at La Luna, burgers and wedges at Burgers and Beers, and tapas at Tibidabo (walking distance). If you like to surf, or are Day One folks (like myself), the team at Aqua Tibia Surf Shop (essentially across the street from this property) will take care of you. Lessons from Adrien, Andrew, Alfredo and Rolando, were all great. Cheers!"

  • Playa Potrero paradise

"Our family of 7 (six adults and our 16 month old grandson) spent a glorious week in this beautiful ocean front home at Playa Potrero! Prior to our trip we traded e-mails with the owner who gave us a lot of valuable information. Rita of Tropical Homes of Costa Rica (property manager) greeted us at her office when we arrived from the airport and escorted us to the home. A notebook in the home had great information about grocery stores, restaurants and activities. This 4 bedroom home (3 kings and 2 twin beds with 3 1/2 baths) was perfect for our group. The kitchen was well equipped as we cooked many meals there. Towels, including beach towels, were provided which was very helpful. The patio and pool area was our favorite place to relax and especially to watch the beautiful Pacific sunsets. We had fabulous food; a lot of restaurants within walking distance. We spent a day paddle boarding at Las Catalinas beach and had a fabulous lunch there as well. The guys chartered a boat for a day of fishing, catching bait as they trolled out of the bay. Some of the group surfed at Tamarindo and we saw a surfing competition at Tamarindo as well. Tropical Homes of Costa Rica created a custom hike close to one of the volcanos, including a mud bath and a delightful swim under a waterfall. We also rode the Monkey Trail (road not as bad as we had heard) and indeed saw monkeys. Our last meal was at the Sugar Beach Hotel where we experienced the most beautiful sunset we had ever seen and the food was absolutely delicious! What a pleasant surprise to meet Angie and Mino. Angie worked very hard to keep our home clean and tidy! Mino was a wonderful gardener, pool caretaker and security guard for us. We were quite pleased with their services!!! We highly recommend this home for your next vacation to Costa Rica!"

"The six of us ladies just got back from a week at the most beautiful beach. Our villa had a view that can never be outdone. We spent hours just sitting in the pool and on the large deck staring out at the Pacific Ocean. The location of the villa is second to none on that entire beach. And of course, thanks to house manager (Oli), we were able to do many truly memorable activities. Oli was able to set us up with great events and people, maximizing the entire Costa Rican experience. We all could not have been happier with the location, the view and the staff!!! Great time had by all."

Guanacaste Travel Tips

Guanacaste Beach Rentals Give You the Real Costa Rica

If you are looking for long summer days on beautiful coastlines, Guanacaste beach rentals are for you. Vacations in Costa Rica can be filled with activities, sun, and sand. Enjoy the stunning shoreline, top-notch surfing, snorkeling, and so much more when you stay at Guanacaste resorts. The province is the perfect vacation destination for the whole family or the ideal spot for a romantic honeymoon.

Breathtaking Vistas within the Guanacaste Resorts Regions

All along the eastern borders of the province you will find a chain of volcanoes, many of which are visible from some Guanacaste beach rentals. The volcanoes meet the Cordillera de Tilaran and Cordillera de Guanacaste mountain ranges and offer plenty of hiking, mountain biking, and other high elevation activities. The views in this region are particularly breathtaking, especially when you reach Rincon de la Vieja Volcano Area with its lush forests filled with exotic plants and animals. No one ever said vacations in Costa Rica would not be gorgeous!

Vacations in Costa Rica Offer a Little Culture

As you plan your stay in Guanacaste resorts, you might appreciate learning a little bit about the local culture. The region is rich in culture and even takes its name from the word “quahnacaztlan” which is actually the word for the Guanacaste tree in the native language. This tree also happens to be the national tree of the country. Vacations here, especially those at Guanacaste beach rentals, will allow you the opportunity to see what the real Costa Rica is all about.

The Best Way to Reach Your Guanacaste Beach Rentals

Because it is a foreign country, vacations in Costa Rica do take some planning. The easiest way to reach Guanacaste resorts is to fly into Liberia and land at the Daniel Oduber International Airport. From the airport, you may either rent a car or take a bus through Guanacaste up the Pan-American Highway which is quite scenic. You will even catch a glimpse of the volcanoes on your way.
