"I would like to start my review with the great communication between Jacquie and myself. Jacquie was a delight to work with and very caring and helpful. Whenever I asked her a question she answered me very promptly and had all my questions address. She takes the worry out of renting a home and makes sure to put your mind at ease. I personally had high expectations of what I wanted in a home for my family and I on our trip to Costa Rica. This was the second trip for me and my families first and I wanted it to be special. When we arrived to Casa de la Loma and Ana and Freddie greeted us I knew right then it was going to be special. Ana made everything feel just like home for us from the home cooked meals, making beds, laundry and wonderful conversations. Ana and Freddie were very helpful with questions we had about the home and what to do in the area. Ana was very helpful setting up excursions for all of us along with telling us where to find the store, butcher, fish market and ect. Ana is a amazing cook with a great smile to go with her amazing cooking. The home itself was beautiful with a pool to die for. The pool was so amazing it was hard to get my family out of it some days. I heard over and over "wow" this is truly paradise with amazing views that take your breath away. We will definitely be back to enjoy more of the tranquil environment that Casa de la Loma offers. I will end by saying that the home and Ana and her family made it a perfect ~Pura Vida~ experience. My family and I meet friends for life."

"Villa Paraiso was an amazing property with the PERFECT floor plan for our group. There was 13 of us in all with 7 young adults from ages 14-23 and the 8 bedrooms were just amazing. The view does not get any better than at Villa Paraiso, watching the sun set in the evenings were breath taking and the infinity pool was the perfect solution to a hot day. The kitchen set up was the ideal fit for our large group and eating breakfast every morning on the 16 person table out on the deck was an unbelievable way to start our day. My family loved Rosa's breakfast in the morning, the fresh fruit, scrambled eggs, rice and beans, and the wonderful coffee made it hard to leave. One of the best meals is when we had Rosa and Luis (gardner/house keeper) do dinner the last night we were there, the chicken, vegetables, the amazing guacamole, and home made tortilla chips with her guacamole was the best!!!!! If you need anything- adventures, groceries, cab rides, anything just call Mateo and he has it taken care of in 5 minutes, he is amazing and can steer you in the right direction for quality and value. My family absolutely loved this property and our vacation, it was truly PURA VIDA!!!!!!"

"My husband and I had the opportunity to stay at this home for 8 nights. We arrived in the dark, not fully appreciating our surroundings and in the morning woke to a view that surpassed any we had ever seen, the sunrise over Arenal Volcano and panoramic view of beautiful Lake Arenal. The home and location was everything we hoped for and more. It was far enough off the beaten path (quietly secluded from tourist traps) yet close enough for wonderful day trips and activities. After a day of exploring it was a pleasure to come back to relax and enjoy the comforts this house has to offer; morning coffee on the patio, sunsets at the pool, howler monkeys, toucans, humming birds, hiking, swimming in the lake. The local people are friendly and helpful and the town of Nueva Arenal has great places to eat and local markets so you don't have to venture far. Our stay at Casa de Turtle Cove was just what we needed to make our first trip to Costa Rica one we will never forget. Thank you Stephanie and Ron~"

  • Spectacular!

"After touring most of beautiful Costa Rica in it's ''summer" months, we were dusty and hot and were overjoyed by the spectacular beauty and cool, crisp nighttime air at this beautiful property. What a joy to wake up to trilling out countless varieties of birds, and as my traveling companion is a birder, he was overjoyed. The house was cozy and well-appointed, the pool was sparkling, and we love the sound of the howler monkeys in the trees. The owners were so pleasant and very helpful when we needed information about local tours - we loved the boat trip."

Guanacaste Travel Tips

Guanacaste Beach Rentals Give You the Real Costa Rica

If you are looking for long summer days on beautiful coastlines, Guanacaste beach rentals are for you. Vacations in Costa Rica can be filled with activities, sun, and sand. Enjoy the stunning shoreline, top-notch surfing, snorkeling, and so much more when you stay at Guanacaste resorts. The province is the perfect vacation destination for the whole family or the ideal spot for a romantic honeymoon.

Breathtaking Vistas within the Guanacaste Resorts Regions

All along the eastern borders of the province you will find a chain of volcanoes, many of which are visible from some Guanacaste beach rentals. The volcanoes meet the Cordillera de Tilaran and Cordillera de Guanacaste mountain ranges and offer plenty of hiking, mountain biking, and other high elevation activities. The views in this region are particularly breathtaking, especially when you reach Rincon de la Vieja Volcano Area with its lush forests filled with exotic plants and animals. No one ever said vacations in Costa Rica would not be gorgeous!

Vacations in Costa Rica Offer a Little Culture

As you plan your stay in Guanacaste resorts, you might appreciate learning a little bit about the local culture. The region is rich in culture and even takes its name from the word “quahnacaztlan” which is actually the word for the Guanacaste tree in the native language. This tree also happens to be the national tree of the country. Vacations here, especially those at Guanacaste beach rentals, will allow you the opportunity to see what the real Costa Rica is all about.

The Best Way to Reach Your Guanacaste Beach Rentals

Because it is a foreign country, vacations in Costa Rica do take some planning. The easiest way to reach Guanacaste resorts is to fly into Liberia and land at the Daniel Oduber International Airport. From the airport, you may either rent a car or take a bus through Guanacaste up the Pan-American Highway which is quite scenic. You will even catch a glimpse of the volcanoes on your way.
