  • Great location- across the street from the beach and walking distance to everything in town

"My husband and I stayed for a week with both my parents and our two children (6yrs old & almost 2yrs old). Mike and Kathy along with their friendly staff were awesome and accommodated our VERY late check in. We loved having a pool in the back yard for the kids to swim in and the the beach and various restaurants right across the street. While there are many adventurous activities to do within driving distance, we chose to spend the majority of our time relaxing in the backyard (watching monkeys, birds, etc), on the beach, and exploring the town by foot. We did so one adventurous thing though - take our 6yr old zip lining at Pura Aventura. We had a blast and felt very safe! Cafe Tico (2 min walk out the gate and to the right) is a must if you like coffee. As is Langosta Beach Club if you're looking for a great place to sit and watch the sunset and have a nicer dinner."

  • Hidden Gem!

"We arrived at our Playa Langosta rental and upon entering the condo, we were immediately blown away. The amount of space we had was incredible. I felt the pictures on the website were true to what the condo was. We were able to have a home away from home experience while on an amazing vacation to a beautiful country! We rented a car and so were able to shop at the grocery store and prepare delicious meals in the beautiful kitchen provided for us. The beaches and town of Tamarindo are a fifteen minute walk and worth it!! We loved La Esquina number five!"

  • Fabulous week at the Palms

"We were two "seniors" couples traveling together for a long awaited vacation. Costa Rica and The Palms were everything and more than we had expected. Our flight to Costa Rica was delayed, but Eric from Special Places met us after hours to check us into the condo. He was great! The grounds and amenities at the Palms were beautiful. The Palms' staff were also very helpful and always working hard to keep the grounds perfect. The guys went fishing and caught enough fish for us to grill out on the nice grills provided at the Palms for three nights' dinners. The infinity pool and the beach with the sunset views were awesome. The condo was lovely and equipped with everything we needed for a great vacation. We rented an SUV and made trips to Tamarindo, Monteverde, Conchal, and the Congo Trail on our own. My husband will never forget the invigorating experiences zip lining through the mountains and the clouds at Monteverde. Our car rental included a GPS and we were able to get around Costa Rica with no problems at all. We rent out our vacation home in Destin, FL on VRBO, so we didn't look anywhere else but VRBO when planning our vacation to Costa Rica. The condo owner, Barbara, was wonderful to work with and we thank her for sharing her lovely home with us. We will definitely come back and rent from Barbara again."

  • Very comfortable home away from home

"We stayed at the condo, for 2 1/2 weeks, and were able to get the feel of the condo, building, and the community. All were very relaxed, safe, and made us feel 'at home', in an exotic country. The condo lacks for nothing, with lots of extras, in the way of a paper-back library, storage room with all sorts of toys and beach items, and even a full spice rack, for your exotic cooking nights. Its about a 20 minute hike into Tamarindo, but as you can do most of it along the beach, it is hardly noticeable. If you don't mind a little walking, you don't need a car. WE would definitely stay here again."

Guanacaste Travel Tips

Guanacaste Beach Rentals Give You the Real Costa Rica

If you are looking for long summer days on beautiful coastlines, Guanacaste beach rentals are for you. Vacations in Costa Rica can be filled with activities, sun, and sand. Enjoy the stunning shoreline, top-notch surfing, snorkeling, and so much more when you stay at Guanacaste resorts. The province is the perfect vacation destination for the whole family or the ideal spot for a romantic honeymoon.

Breathtaking Vistas within the Guanacaste Resorts Regions

All along the eastern borders of the province you will find a chain of volcanoes, many of which are visible from some Guanacaste beach rentals. The volcanoes meet the Cordillera de Tilaran and Cordillera de Guanacaste mountain ranges and offer plenty of hiking, mountain biking, and other high elevation activities. The views in this region are particularly breathtaking, especially when you reach Rincon de la Vieja Volcano Area with its lush forests filled with exotic plants and animals. No one ever said vacations in Costa Rica would not be gorgeous!

Vacations in Costa Rica Offer a Little Culture

As you plan your stay in Guanacaste resorts, you might appreciate learning a little bit about the local culture. The region is rich in culture and even takes its name from the word “quahnacaztlan” which is actually the word for the Guanacaste tree in the native language. This tree also happens to be the national tree of the country. Vacations here, especially those at Guanacaste beach rentals, will allow you the opportunity to see what the real Costa Rica is all about.

The Best Way to Reach Your Guanacaste Beach Rentals

Because it is a foreign country, vacations in Costa Rica do take some planning. The easiest way to reach Guanacaste resorts is to fly into Liberia and land at the Daniel Oduber International Airport. From the airport, you may either rent a car or take a bus through Guanacaste up the Pan-American Highway which is quite scenic. You will even catch a glimpse of the volcanoes on your way.
