"The house lives up to its pictures, it is stunning and beautiful. There is a bedroom in a loft above the living room with a private bathroom. The pool is great we had so much fun in there. The living room is huge, such a large area and was good for dancing in and relaxing and everything we wanted to do. The kitchen and dining room are great and have everything you need. The two bedrooms outside the kitchen area are beautiful and amazing (my favorite). There is a pool house but I never went into it, one of the people in our group stayed in it and liked it. The view from this house is beautiful and the sunsets and sunrises leave you breathless. Down side to this property you should know about: - The "hill".... this house is on a massive hill and only a few of the taxi's we took could even make it up it, yes it is that big and steep. So plan on some serious hiking, it is a workout not to look forward to. - The people looking after the house speak almost no English at all, in fact we had a guy in our group who spoke very little Spanish and even they had a hard time communicating. The communication barrier was an issue during our stay. - I slept in one of the rooms outside, closest to the kitchen and it was an amazing room and a great view to wake up to. But I never had hot water in my private bathroom and my bedroom door was broken and would not close at all. I only had a screen on my room and bugs and a frog did get in my room. I mentioned it to the staff on the day of our arrival and they shrugged their shoulders and never fixed it the entire week I was there. - One night we forgot to turn the lights off in the pool, instead of telling us or trying to let us know they turned the lights off and locked the door to where they turn on. They just locked us out….. We did talk to them and get it back open again but it was once again a hassle. - The house is 20-25 min from town. A van to carry all of us (we were a group of 8) was 60.00 each way. We started to get 2 cars instead and that was 40.00 each way (20.00 per cab) but we had to negotiate that, some cabs wanted more. Hulio, (no idea how you spell it) drives a red car with a silver roof rack (small town, you can’t miss him) he was GREAT and took good care of us. He charged us 20.00 each way, he could make it up the hill every time and he was SUPER reliable when we called and set pick up times. Over all I would stay here again in a heartbeat, for me personally the issues were minor and did not ruin the stay."

  • Simply Exceptional!

"My wife and I honeymooned here and I must say the Villa and staff were simply amazing. We have traveled to this part of Costa Rica a few times before but this was the best trip and vacation rental we have stayed in by far. The Villa is in a great location, just a short walk to the beach and has everything one could possibly need and much more. I just can't say enough good things about the place, we will be back next year without a doubt. Pura Vida!"

  • Condo Rental

"This was our second rental of this same unit and we were very pleased with the entirety of the condo and resort complex altogether. Highly recommend it to anyone else who is looking for a quiet and fun getaway in Playa Flamingo, CR. The views are breath taking over the bahia to the East, North and West. The unit was immaculate and all physicals (water, lights, etc.) worked just great. Had hot water which is sonetimes in CR a real commodity."

  • Best View In The Resort!

"This Villa is closer to the beach than the pictures show. The covered patio is great for escaping the very hot mid-day sun. The listing is very accurate; it's well-stocked, great beach view, close to restaurant/bar/pool. The resort seemed pretty empty while we were there. We liked it that way. No crowds at the pool, restaurant or beach. This is supposed to be rainy season but we only got rained on once while we were ziplining about 1.5 hours away from the resort. It was still fun and was combined with a hot springs visit. We also went on a wave-runner tour and an ATV tour. Both worth doing with our kids ages 20,18,14,11 & 6. And my in-laws enjoyed them too! Our rental cars, dinner reservations and activities were arranged by Kelsey. Her service was great and I changed things many times before we got there She got everything done, no problem, and called me when I arrived to check on us. Priceless! I would definitely recommend this resort and this villa in particular!"

Guanacaste Travel Tips

Guanacaste Beach Rentals Give You the Real Costa Rica

If you are looking for long summer days on beautiful coastlines, Guanacaste beach rentals are for you. Vacations in Costa Rica can be filled with activities, sun, and sand. Enjoy the stunning shoreline, top-notch surfing, snorkeling, and so much more when you stay at Guanacaste resorts. The province is the perfect vacation destination for the whole family or the ideal spot for a romantic honeymoon.

Breathtaking Vistas within the Guanacaste Resorts Regions

All along the eastern borders of the province you will find a chain of volcanoes, many of which are visible from some Guanacaste beach rentals. The volcanoes meet the Cordillera de Tilaran and Cordillera de Guanacaste mountain ranges and offer plenty of hiking, mountain biking, and other high elevation activities. The views in this region are particularly breathtaking, especially when you reach Rincon de la Vieja Volcano Area with its lush forests filled with exotic plants and animals. No one ever said vacations in Costa Rica would not be gorgeous!

Vacations in Costa Rica Offer a Little Culture

As you plan your stay in Guanacaste resorts, you might appreciate learning a little bit about the local culture. The region is rich in culture and even takes its name from the word “quahnacaztlan” which is actually the word for the Guanacaste tree in the native language. This tree also happens to be the national tree of the country. Vacations here, especially those at Guanacaste beach rentals, will allow you the opportunity to see what the real Costa Rica is all about.

The Best Way to Reach Your Guanacaste Beach Rentals

Because it is a foreign country, vacations in Costa Rica do take some planning. The easiest way to reach Guanacaste resorts is to fly into Liberia and land at the Daniel Oduber International Airport. From the airport, you may either rent a car or take a bus through Guanacaste up the Pan-American Highway which is quite scenic. You will even catch a glimpse of the volcanoes on your way.
