  • Casa Rosa

"Just returned home to about three feet of snow........guess we should have stayed longer! Our stay at Casa Rosa was wonderful, accommodation was great. In addition to going to the beach everyday, we swam in the beautiful pool and were lucky enough to meet some of our neighbours. We enjoyed our meals on the patio amid the gardens and watched many sunsets from our table. The kitchen had all the utensils needed to prepare meals. The air conditioning and many fans kept us cool in the 35 degree heat. The only thing we missed was a working barbecue."

  • Casa Paquita - Spotless on the Beach

"Our trip to Tamarindo was a long-promised family vacation where we wanted to experience something exotic, but wanted the comfort of a warm shower and nice accommodations each night. We were made to feel at home from the minute we arrived at Casa Paquita. Both the Concierge (Paola) and the housekeeper (Noami) not only greeted us warmly, they were with us throughout our stay making sure our every needs were met - whether it was arranging for zip line adventures, kayaking trips, scuba dives or simply a pot of coffee each morning. The crew made our trip effortless and enjoyable. Naomi was affable and available in addition to keeping the place spotless throughout our stay. Now, for the house! It is AMAZING. An infinity pool that was kept leaf-clean each day by the pool-boy and the spacious areas inside that had plenty of space for all of our troupe (3 young adults between 18 and 24, my mom and the two of us) to have their own space, ...or gather around the huge farm-house table that over-looks the pool and the glorious sunsets. The bedrooms are spacious and the common areas comfortable for lounging around. The best thing we can say is that the place was just as it is represented by the photos in the ad. We cooked most of our meals on site, but also enjoyed the short drive or modest walk to Tamarindo - where there are a few, but enough, nice restaurants and bars to stroll into on an off-day or each evening. The roads there were unpaved so the ride / walk was a bit bumpy, but did not take long. We walked into town for ice cream one evening and felt completely safe. During the day, the walk included a view of the resting howler monkey's hanging around in the trees. (Yes, it's safe, mom! All the monkey's want is to be observed and left alone.) If we had to give two heads-up, it would be to be sure you have a good map to get there as the roads are all two lane and not well-marked. And, that the internet was very slow. Although, on one hand a week "off the grid" was nice, keeping up with emails and other internet services was at dial-up speeds. All in all, a wonderful stay we would do again and recommend to any of our friends."

  • Complete relaxation

"The location of this rental property is ideal. I would totally recommend it to anyone traveling to Costa Rica. This property’s location and close proximity to the beaches as well as to the center of town are ideal. It offers a nice launching pad for day trips to the beach or other local communities. Any amenity that one could ask for is located just a few minute walk down to the beach or into town. The property itself was surprisingly large consisting of two levels, the property was immaculate, comfortable, nicely decorated, with a full kitchen, and with two and a half baths it’s ideal for multiple travelers. A washer and dryer in the unit was also a nice plus. If the beach were too much for you, you could always use one of the pools located inside the gated community. A small coffee shop and a grocery store are also close by. The property management company who helps with rentals was also very responsive and helpful with all our needs."

Guanacaste Travel Tips

Guanacaste Beach Rentals Give You the Real Costa Rica

If you are looking for long summer days on beautiful coastlines, Guanacaste beach rentals are for you. Vacations in Costa Rica can be filled with activities, sun, and sand. Enjoy the stunning shoreline, top-notch surfing, snorkeling, and so much more when you stay at Guanacaste resorts. The province is the perfect vacation destination for the whole family or the ideal spot for a romantic honeymoon.

Breathtaking Vistas within the Guanacaste Resorts Regions

All along the eastern borders of the province you will find a chain of volcanoes, many of which are visible from some Guanacaste beach rentals. The volcanoes meet the Cordillera de Tilaran and Cordillera de Guanacaste mountain ranges and offer plenty of hiking, mountain biking, and other high elevation activities. The views in this region are particularly breathtaking, especially when you reach Rincon de la Vieja Volcano Area with its lush forests filled with exotic plants and animals. No one ever said vacations in Costa Rica would not be gorgeous!

Vacations in Costa Rica Offer a Little Culture

As you plan your stay in Guanacaste resorts, you might appreciate learning a little bit about the local culture. The region is rich in culture and even takes its name from the word “quahnacaztlan” which is actually the word for the Guanacaste tree in the native language. This tree also happens to be the national tree of the country. Vacations here, especially those at Guanacaste beach rentals, will allow you the opportunity to see what the real Costa Rica is all about.

The Best Way to Reach Your Guanacaste Beach Rentals

Because it is a foreign country, vacations in Costa Rica do take some planning. The easiest way to reach Guanacaste resorts is to fly into Liberia and land at the Daniel Oduber International Airport. From the airport, you may either rent a car or take a bus through Guanacaste up the Pan-American Highway which is quite scenic. You will even catch a glimpse of the volcanoes on your way.
