  • An unforgettable winter holiday.

"Casa Marlanda was everything we expected and more. It is a spacious, comfortable, well decorated home and we especially enjoyed the fully equipped kitchen! We will miss waking up to the sound of birds and howler monkeys and early morning coffee on the balcony overlooking the pool and laguna. We were amazed by the number and variety of birds. We chose not to rent a car and enjoyed the early morning walk along Playa Samara to yoga class and the gym and to shop. The pool was always refreshing to cool off in and Playa Carrillo is also within easy walking distance. Dean was very helpful in answering our questions and giving advice before our arrival and even e-mailed a few times during our stay to see if we needed anything! Christopher and Brenda at Samara Info Centre were friendly and helpful and arranged tours for us throughout our stay. Alvaro at Samara Trails offers a hike through his property with lots of info about the local dry tropical forest. We would recommend this tour. Local people were friendly and helpful. WE really didn't want to leave at the end of the month."

  • Mini Paradise in Costa Rica!

"Incredible place! All the reviews were 100% correct. This is a mini paradise...from the moment you walk in the enclosed tropical garden with with the inviting pool just takes your breath away. We were three adults and three children and the house was perfect for us. The rooms were beautiful, each one with its own charm! We chose the first floor one with my husband and found it private and luxurious... Every morning, I would turn on the outside fountain and enjoy the tiny sacred space behind the bedroom. The two teenage girls had the upstairs bedroom overlooking the pool and though they did not spend alot of time in the room, found time to relax and enjoy the space. I am a cook so I took well advantage of everything in the kitchen which I found well stocked and perfect! The company that oversees the property were great - taking care of little inconveniences in a timey fashion. I have nothing but good things to say - Thank you for providing us with such a wonderful environment to spend our vacation. We also loved the Beach Club were we went every afternoon- the people there are also committed to making sure that we enjoyed our stay. Russ, Duncan thank you for everything and you should be very proud of the space that you offer. I know that I personally have very high standards and your place did not dissappoint me!"

  • Great Stay!

"My family (brother, brother’s fiancée, father) and myself went to Costa Rica for vacation. After spending some time in the rainforest we headed to the beach. We stayed in villa 19 at Los Almendros and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The views out the back of the villa were amazing, overlooking the water. The villa was clean and modern and air conditioned – which after days in the jungle, hot and wet, being cool and dry was wonderful! The villa is well stocked with entertainment choices (flat screen tv, wifi, computer, books, movies etc.) in case you need some time inside. The kitchen is ready to cook in and easy to find items in – always a plus. There were also lots of little things to make your stay nicer like plenty of towels, a hairdryer, safe, and access to the washer and dryer. All the pillows and beds were comfortable and everyone in our group was comfortable temperature wise since each room had its own A/C unit. The sound of crashing waves lulled us to sleep every night. A few steps down from the villa is the sparkling pool, complete with lounging hammocks under shades. Just a bit further down the hill is the main entrance where you’ll find security and the dive shop. If you continue walking from there you’ll find yourself at Father Rooster’s (a restaurant and bar) on the beach. It’s probably about a 5 minute walk from the back door of the villa to the beach. A short drive down the road is Playas del Coco where you will find tourist shops, dive shops, restaurants, the grocery store etc. It’s a very short drive. We did scuba from Coco, we saw sharks, a ray, tons of fish and generally had a great time. I would highly recommend this villa as a base of operations for your costal explorations in Costa Rica!"

  • Great place to relax and enjoy Costa Rica beach

"My 23 year old son and I wanted to have an exotic adventure together and we are so glad we found Casa Pastor! It was even more beautiful than the pictures, clean, open and gorgeous. Since it was only my son and I we only used 2 of the 3 bedrooms, but it would easily handle much more. Everything we needed in the kitchen, boogie boards, umbrella (we arrived at the start of the rainy season, but it was gorgeous in the mornings and most afternoons). Alex and Carol, thank you for sharing your paradise with us, I will be back with my wife next time (and maybe some of our other children). David, your care as the property manager was tremendous, helpful, friendly and always on-time. Thank you for helping us by phone when we got flat tire on the way to Miss Sky zipline."

Guanacaste Travel Tips

Guanacaste Beach Rentals Give You the Real Costa Rica

If you are looking for long summer days on beautiful coastlines, Guanacaste beach rentals are for you. Vacations in Costa Rica can be filled with activities, sun, and sand. Enjoy the stunning shoreline, top-notch surfing, snorkeling, and so much more when you stay at Guanacaste resorts. The province is the perfect vacation destination for the whole family or the ideal spot for a romantic honeymoon.

Breathtaking Vistas within the Guanacaste Resorts Regions

All along the eastern borders of the province you will find a chain of volcanoes, many of which are visible from some Guanacaste beach rentals. The volcanoes meet the Cordillera de Tilaran and Cordillera de Guanacaste mountain ranges and offer plenty of hiking, mountain biking, and other high elevation activities. The views in this region are particularly breathtaking, especially when you reach Rincon de la Vieja Volcano Area with its lush forests filled with exotic plants and animals. No one ever said vacations in Costa Rica would not be gorgeous!

Vacations in Costa Rica Offer a Little Culture

As you plan your stay in Guanacaste resorts, you might appreciate learning a little bit about the local culture. The region is rich in culture and even takes its name from the word “quahnacaztlan” which is actually the word for the Guanacaste tree in the native language. This tree also happens to be the national tree of the country. Vacations here, especially those at Guanacaste beach rentals, will allow you the opportunity to see what the real Costa Rica is all about.

The Best Way to Reach Your Guanacaste Beach Rentals

Because it is a foreign country, vacations in Costa Rica do take some planning. The easiest way to reach Guanacaste resorts is to fly into Liberia and land at the Daniel Oduber International Airport. From the airport, you may either rent a car or take a bus through Guanacaste up the Pan-American Highway which is quite scenic. You will even catch a glimpse of the volcanoes on your way.
