  • Beautiful, spacious house in a great location

"The house is comfortable, spacious and beautiful! It was a great place to relax in the evening by the pool or in the "backyard" patio after a busy day of activities. Just a quick walk to the beach. Great to walk the beach to Tamarindo at low tide (or spend hours exploring the tide pools). Just a $5 cab ride to/from Tamarindo. Maria, the property manager, was helpful with recommendations for surf lessons and restaurants. My daughters loved Princess (or Prince?), the resident cat! We enjoyed surf lessons, scuba diving, snorkeling, boogie boarding, zip lining and lots of amazing food in the Tamarindo restaurants. I've already recommended this home to friends who are planning to visit Costa Rica!"

  • Good secluded place for some peace and quiet

"Beautiful setting! Loved having coffee and tea on the veranda. Nicely setup roomy condo. It was great to have a washer and dryer as we got some refreshed clothes mid-trip. Some tour guides (though older) were available. Nice neighbors--we lost power due to a storm--luckily they called the power company to get things in motion to get this fixed quickly. Ed was helpful, meeting us to handover the keys. Nice Italian place and breakfast place a couple of miles South. Bed wasn't the most comfortable, and didn't quite feel like home. Would have been nice if there was aan active phone. All in all, good place and would go there again."

  • A Magical Oasis in a Perfect Location!

"A stay at Villa Encantada is simply a magical experience. As you arrive, the beautiful Mediterranean architecture gives you a glimpse of what is to come. Entering the private courtyard you are welcomed to a luxurious oasis boasting a magnificent private pool with a refreshing fountain surrounded by lush tropical gardens. Several sitting areas provide you with choices of sun or shade complete with ceiling fans, stereo speakers, comfortable cushioned furniture and lighting perfect for romantic evenings. Upon entering the Villa itself there is an open plan concept featuring a well appointed chef's kitchen, large dining table and comfortable living area with flat screen cable TV and music system. The plush furnishings, warm colors and custom made tile and woodwork create a most comfortable environment. Moving through the Villa there is a convenient half bath and an outdoor dining area complete with high end grill. In the rear is the private and magnificent Master Suite complete with a walk in closet/dressing/laundry area and a huge shower with screened access to the private rear garden. Upstairs are two additional, well appointed bedroom suites, one with a wonderful balcony overlooking the pool, that complete a very well designed floor plan. The Villa is in the very desirable Playa Langosta area surrounded by high end properties. The beautiful beach, great for walking, exploring and enjoying magnificent sunsets, is just a short walk through a land preserve. All the necessities such as a food and beverages, breakfast/lunch/dinner are again just a short stroll away. A longer walk or a short drive brings you to the bustling town of Tamarindo with all the beach activities and nightlife you could want. Close enough to enjoy and far enough to maintain peace and quiet! One of the benefits not to be missed is complimentary access to the Langosta Beach Club. Within walking distance (also by the beach at low tide), it is a great spot to enjoy the beach, spa and gym, cocktails at the bar and poolside dining. Highly recommended. Russ and Duncan have created a Magical Oasis that made our Costa Rican trip a truly enchanted experience. We are anxiously looking forward to our return visit. Pura Vida!"

  • Beautiful spot

"We just got back from 5 nights at Casita Louisa and cannot say enough good things about it. It's in a great location, you can walk or drive to the beach. Great restaurants in the area, so you don't have to go far. The house is fully equipped with everything you need. The pool is huge and was fantastic to have. The house is secure and the owners have made sure all the windows have bars, it has the safe room where you can store all your valuables and the pull down gate, which secures the front door. Master bedroom has a large king size bed, quite firm but we slept great. You do have to run the fans, along with AC at night as it gets quite hot. We really enjoyed our stay there and would go back in a heartbeat!"

Guanacaste Travel Tips

Guanacaste Beach Rentals Give You the Real Costa Rica

If you are looking for long summer days on beautiful coastlines, Guanacaste beach rentals are for you. Vacations in Costa Rica can be filled with activities, sun, and sand. Enjoy the stunning shoreline, top-notch surfing, snorkeling, and so much more when you stay at Guanacaste resorts. The province is the perfect vacation destination for the whole family or the ideal spot for a romantic honeymoon.

Breathtaking Vistas within the Guanacaste Resorts Regions

All along the eastern borders of the province you will find a chain of volcanoes, many of which are visible from some Guanacaste beach rentals. The volcanoes meet the Cordillera de Tilaran and Cordillera de Guanacaste mountain ranges and offer plenty of hiking, mountain biking, and other high elevation activities. The views in this region are particularly breathtaking, especially when you reach Rincon de la Vieja Volcano Area with its lush forests filled with exotic plants and animals. No one ever said vacations in Costa Rica would not be gorgeous!

Vacations in Costa Rica Offer a Little Culture

As you plan your stay in Guanacaste resorts, you might appreciate learning a little bit about the local culture. The region is rich in culture and even takes its name from the word “quahnacaztlan” which is actually the word for the Guanacaste tree in the native language. This tree also happens to be the national tree of the country. Vacations here, especially those at Guanacaste beach rentals, will allow you the opportunity to see what the real Costa Rica is all about.

The Best Way to Reach Your Guanacaste Beach Rentals

Because it is a foreign country, vacations in Costa Rica do take some planning. The easiest way to reach Guanacaste resorts is to fly into Liberia and land at the Daniel Oduber International Airport. From the airport, you may either rent a car or take a bus through Guanacaste up the Pan-American Highway which is quite scenic. You will even catch a glimpse of the volcanoes on your way.
