  • Loved it!

"We stayed at this condo for a week and we absolutely loved it! It is a beautiful place, very clean, and exactly what we were looking for. It's not right in the middle of everything but a quick short walk away. We wanted to be close to the beach but far away enough so we're not in the middle of the bars and clubs. It has everything you need, very well equipped. We loved it!"

  • Las Catalinas, a hidden vacation jewel

"We were a party of 9 staying at Stu Casa for 7 days. It did not disappoint in the least. Outstanding accommodations, service, views and activities. The weather was perfect, no rain for entire stay. We do a family vacation each year, typically at an Oceanside resort. Las Catalinas was paradise on the Pacific. No need to rent a car. We did and it was an expensive proposition that we would not do again. The beach at Las Catalina's is grey/black sand. Very unique. We highly recommend it for a wonderful experience."

  • Amazing Stay! Great Hosts

"The Twin Dolphins B&B right on the beach in Potrero Beach, CR was absolutely amazing! We stayed with Mike & Irma 1/3-1/9. We stayed in the penthouse suite on the 4th floor - wow what a great view. The bedroom was very large with a whirlpool and a big shower. The beds were very comfortable and slept very well. The area was quiet and peaceful with only a few people on the beach at any given time. MIKE WAS THE BEST! He knew anything and everything about Costa Rica and we could talk with him for hours. His breakfasts were some of the best I've ever had! Not to mention Irma's authentic Gallo Pinto on our last day was a great way to end our stay. Coffee and breakfast was served every morning on the balcony overlooking the ocean. Mike gave us great suggestions about what excursions/trips to take (Buena Vista Lodge & El Viejo boat tour) and even went with us on the boat tour. Words cannot express how perfect this trip was all thanks to Mike & Irma. We will be definitely be returning to stay with Mike & Irma again. Pura Vida! - Nick & Nancy"

Guanacaste Travel Tips

Guanacaste Beach Rentals Give You the Real Costa Rica

If you are looking for long summer days on beautiful coastlines, Guanacaste beach rentals are for you. Vacations in Costa Rica can be filled with activities, sun, and sand. Enjoy the stunning shoreline, top-notch surfing, snorkeling, and so much more when you stay at Guanacaste resorts. The province is the perfect vacation destination for the whole family or the ideal spot for a romantic honeymoon.

Breathtaking Vistas within the Guanacaste Resorts Regions

All along the eastern borders of the province you will find a chain of volcanoes, many of which are visible from some Guanacaste beach rentals. The volcanoes meet the Cordillera de Tilaran and Cordillera de Guanacaste mountain ranges and offer plenty of hiking, mountain biking, and other high elevation activities. The views in this region are particularly breathtaking, especially when you reach Rincon de la Vieja Volcano Area with its lush forests filled with exotic plants and animals. No one ever said vacations in Costa Rica would not be gorgeous!

Vacations in Costa Rica Offer a Little Culture

As you plan your stay in Guanacaste resorts, you might appreciate learning a little bit about the local culture. The region is rich in culture and even takes its name from the word “quahnacaztlan” which is actually the word for the Guanacaste tree in the native language. This tree also happens to be the national tree of the country. Vacations here, especially those at Guanacaste beach rentals, will allow you the opportunity to see what the real Costa Rica is all about.

The Best Way to Reach Your Guanacaste Beach Rentals

Because it is a foreign country, vacations in Costa Rica do take some planning. The easiest way to reach Guanacaste resorts is to fly into Liberia and land at the Daniel Oduber International Airport. From the airport, you may either rent a car or take a bus through Guanacaste up the Pan-American Highway which is quite scenic. You will even catch a glimpse of the volcanoes on your way.
