  • Casa Miramar

"We recently stayed at Casa Miramar for a week and found the house very inviting, spacious, comfortable and well-laid out. The views are stunning, and we spent a lot of time outside on the terrace enjoying the wonderful weather and beautiful view of the Pacific Ocean. There were exotic flowers, birds, squirrels, iguanas and even a raccoon to entertain and welcome us. This is a wonderful place to enjoy the beauty of nature. Martha and Donald were very friendly and helpful and took great care of us as well as the house. The language barrier was minimized with a translation app. There are several places within walking distance down the hill, but we also enjoyed the beach, took a day trip to Tamarindo and booked a couple of tours through Jonas with Adventours, all of which we highly recommend. We can't wait to go back to Costa Rica and Casa Miramar!"

  • Flamingo Marvel

"My wife and I celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary while in Costa Rica for 2 weeks at this condo. This condo is relatively new with amazing views of Flamingo Beach. Our local contact, Willie, was excellent in answering all our questions via e-mail. He had a local phone number also but we did not have good cell reception so we just e-mailed. This location's internet router is not personally protected, but connectivity worked fine for us. The king size bed was very comfortable, but I can not attest to the queen bed in the 2nd BR as I did not sleep on it, but our guests said it was OK. The best thing about this particular condo is that you could walk down the hill to Flamingo Beach, go to the end of the buildings to its own pool, shower, and grill or walk 200 yards down the hill in another direction and use Flamingo Marina Resort's pool, swim-up bar, or restaurants. Great location, super views, and very convenient to restaurants, supermarkets, other beaches, and within 30 minutes to Tamarindo for the best shopping. There is shopping right there at Flamingo, but we like Tamarindo the best for shopping, but not for staying because of its hustle and bustle feel."

  • A hidden gem with Lake access!

"We, a party of 6, stayed at Stephanie and Ron's beautiful gem for a total of 13 nights. We loved the layout and space available to us, especially the big living room/kitchen area and the deck. Getting to it at night can be challenging since the "Turtle Cove" sign is partially damaged. Jorge, the property manager, was kind enough to wait for our delayed arrival because we got lost a few times. :) Unfortunately, the weather wasn't that great but the never-ending winds were just right for the die-hart windsurfers amongst us. It's important though to let new tenants know that the road to the property is a dirt road so that people can make decisions about the type of car and car insurance to get when coming to stay here. Nevertheless, it was an okay enough road with a regular car. Thank you again, Stephanie and Ron, for letting us stay at your beautiful property! We would definitely recommend this place this to others who want to stay near Ticowinds or who do not mind driving 45 min to see the volcano, go on hikes, or enjoy the hot springs."

  • Spectacular!

"After touring most of beautiful Costa Rica in it's ''summer" months, we were dusty and hot and were overjoyed by the spectacular beauty and cool, crisp nighttime air at this beautiful property. What a joy to wake up to trilling out countless varieties of birds, and as my traveling companion is a birder, he was overjoyed. The house was cozy and well-appointed, the pool was sparkling, and we love the sound of the howler monkeys in the trees. The owners were so pleasant and very helpful when we needed information about local tours - we loved the boat trip."

Guanacaste Travel Tips

Guanacaste Beach Rentals Give You the Real Costa Rica

If you are looking for long summer days on beautiful coastlines, Guanacaste beach rentals are for you. Vacations in Costa Rica can be filled with activities, sun, and sand. Enjoy the stunning shoreline, top-notch surfing, snorkeling, and so much more when you stay at Guanacaste resorts. The province is the perfect vacation destination for the whole family or the ideal spot for a romantic honeymoon.

Breathtaking Vistas within the Guanacaste Resorts Regions

All along the eastern borders of the province you will find a chain of volcanoes, many of which are visible from some Guanacaste beach rentals. The volcanoes meet the Cordillera de Tilaran and Cordillera de Guanacaste mountain ranges and offer plenty of hiking, mountain biking, and other high elevation activities. The views in this region are particularly breathtaking, especially when you reach Rincon de la Vieja Volcano Area with its lush forests filled with exotic plants and animals. No one ever said vacations in Costa Rica would not be gorgeous!

Vacations in Costa Rica Offer a Little Culture

As you plan your stay in Guanacaste resorts, you might appreciate learning a little bit about the local culture. The region is rich in culture and even takes its name from the word “quahnacaztlan” which is actually the word for the Guanacaste tree in the native language. This tree also happens to be the national tree of the country. Vacations here, especially those at Guanacaste beach rentals, will allow you the opportunity to see what the real Costa Rica is all about.

The Best Way to Reach Your Guanacaste Beach Rentals

Because it is a foreign country, vacations in Costa Rica do take some planning. The easiest way to reach Guanacaste resorts is to fly into Liberia and land at the Daniel Oduber International Airport. From the airport, you may either rent a car or take a bus through Guanacaste up the Pan-American Highway which is quite scenic. You will even catch a glimpse of the volcanoes on your way.
