  • Perfect Birthday Celebration!

"My husband and I just returned home from two glorious weeks in a beautiful location overlooking a perfect ocean view. I chose Villa Las Brisas after looking at hundreds of houses on line. This was my 50th birthday celebration, and I was hoping for perfection. I was not disappointed! The villa is beautiful. It is decorated very tastefully, with all modern comforts! Every bedroom/bath was comfortable and elegant. We had WiFi and news on TV. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cooking appliances. The housekeeper, Yoco, was absolutely incredible. She kept the house very clean, made our beds while we weren't looking, and cooked our breakfast. Whatever we stocked for breakfast, she cooked it! When we bought fresh fruit, she had it sliced and waiting for us! She always had coffee ready! I found her invaluable! She does not speak English well, but we had fun communicating with her. It was not a problem. We found the grocery store in playa Coco to be well stocked. As well as a smaller grocery store closer in Playa Hermosa. We grilled fresh fish several nights on the outdoor grill. This was incredible. The nights we chose to go out, we found Playa Hermosa to be our favorite. It was 10 minutes away with nice little outdoor restaurants and great food. Playa Coco is 20 minutes away with great souvenir shopping and authentic Costa Rican restaurants. We spent less time on the beach than I expected. We found the pool at the villa so inviting. We had visits from iguanas, parrots, and even a raccoon one evening. I found this fascinating! Our 25-30 year old kids thought the place was great! We found adventures as well as relaxing at the villa. We went zip lining and ATVing! After they left, we had 3 couples join us. They all seemed very comfortable and thrilled. There was something for everyone. I definitely recommend having a rental car. Roads are very passable. Without a car, one might find it isolated. With a car, everything was within reach. So the moral of my review: Villa Las Brisas can be any type vacation you want. Stay there, relax, enjoy the quiet and view! Explore a little, and enjoy everything Costa Rica has to offer. Either way, I don't think you'll regret it. We sure didn't! We are already trying to plan another trip there. Thank you Preston for helping make our experience perfect."

  • Relaxing and great views

"We recently returned from our first visit to Costa Rica and our choice to stay at House of the summer sand was perfect. Kalli was extremely helpful and provided lots of information and answered all of our questions before we arrived. The condo is well equipped with everything you will need including beach towels which you don't normally see. As mentioned in other reviews the fruit stand at the corner is great and the owner is more than friendly. Our first visit landed us a couple of free mangos to try. Trip to Palo Verde is great and was booked at weekend tours which is only 3 minute walk from the condo. A car is not required but on our next visit I think we will consider it so we can tour around a bit. We made due without as there are a number of stores near by to pick up whatever you need. Knowing Spanish is not needed but is helpful in some situations and we will have a better grasp before our next trip. We took advantage of the grocery service provide by Tropical Homes and arrived to a fully stocked fridge including cold beer. And finally the view. The pictures don't do it justice. Our favorite time were early mornings and evening watching the waves hit the shore and looking for the pelicans as they dove for fish right off shore. Beach is great for walking and pool was perfect for quick dips when you were getting hot. Again the condo was great and thank you Kalli for a fantastic holiday. Can't wait to go back."

  • Exactly as advertised

"My family thoroughly enjoyed our time in Playa Panama while staying at La Joya Bella. The pool and porch are the perfect vantage point for incredible sunsets. The property manager (Daryl) was very helpful and the communication with the property owner was great. We would definitely stay here again. I recommend the Congo Trail Zip Line and a day trip to Tamarindo. We cooked/grilled out several times and the kitchen is very well stocked. The Auto Mercado in Playa del Coco was the best grocery store. The size of the bedrooms and having a bathroom in each bedroom made the stay very comfortable. Definitely rent a car or have arrangements for transportation. Overall a very nice place."

  • Fantastic Stay

"What a gorgeous home with beautiful views. Located in a secure gated area with other homes nearby, yet you feel secluded. We enjoyed the large deck just off the living room. Great views for watching sunsets, relaxing in the hammock, having your morning coffee or watching the toucans eating on the banana tree. The home has a huge master bedroom/bathroom on the upper level with another deck upstairs. An additional full bedroom/bathroom is located on the main level. The kitchen has all equipment needed for cooking meals. Only a 5-minute ride to the quaint town of Nuevo Arenal for groceries and restaurants. A beautiful hour drive to La Fortuna (a car is a must for this property). Ricardo was wonderful to work with, he answered all of my questions via email before the trip and during our stay, he was only a phone call away. He even called us at the home on our first full day there to see if we were happy with the home and asked if we needed anything. Very nice touch. The manager (Franklin) escorted us to the property and met us on our last day to return our deposit (fully refunded). I strongly recommend this property. Great stay. Thank you Ricardo!"

Guanacaste Travel Tips

Guanacaste Beach Rentals Give You the Real Costa Rica

If you are looking for long summer days on beautiful coastlines, Guanacaste beach rentals are for you. Vacations in Costa Rica can be filled with activities, sun, and sand. Enjoy the stunning shoreline, top-notch surfing, snorkeling, and so much more when you stay at Guanacaste resorts. The province is the perfect vacation destination for the whole family or the ideal spot for a romantic honeymoon.

Breathtaking Vistas within the Guanacaste Resorts Regions

All along the eastern borders of the province you will find a chain of volcanoes, many of which are visible from some Guanacaste beach rentals. The volcanoes meet the Cordillera de Tilaran and Cordillera de Guanacaste mountain ranges and offer plenty of hiking, mountain biking, and other high elevation activities. The views in this region are particularly breathtaking, especially when you reach Rincon de la Vieja Volcano Area with its lush forests filled with exotic plants and animals. No one ever said vacations in Costa Rica would not be gorgeous!

Vacations in Costa Rica Offer a Little Culture

As you plan your stay in Guanacaste resorts, you might appreciate learning a little bit about the local culture. The region is rich in culture and even takes its name from the word “quahnacaztlan” which is actually the word for the Guanacaste tree in the native language. This tree also happens to be the national tree of the country. Vacations here, especially those at Guanacaste beach rentals, will allow you the opportunity to see what the real Costa Rica is all about.

The Best Way to Reach Your Guanacaste Beach Rentals

Because it is a foreign country, vacations in Costa Rica do take some planning. The easiest way to reach Guanacaste resorts is to fly into Liberia and land at the Daniel Oduber International Airport. From the airport, you may either rent a car or take a bus through Guanacaste up the Pan-American Highway which is quite scenic. You will even catch a glimpse of the volcanoes on your way.
