  • Good secluded place for some peace and quiet

"Beautiful setting! Loved having coffee and tea on the veranda. Nicely setup roomy condo. It was great to have a washer and dryer as we got some refreshed clothes mid-trip. Some tour guides (though older) were available. Nice neighbors--we lost power due to a storm--luckily they called the power company to get things in motion to get this fixed quickly. Ed was helpful, meeting us to handover the keys. Nice Italian place and breakfast place a couple of miles South. Bed wasn't the most comfortable, and didn't quite feel like home. Would have been nice if there was aan active phone. All in all, good place and would go there again."

  • Great Vacation!

"We stayed at Villa Corazon Del Mar for a week in March. The weather was beautiful! The house was awesome- we had three couples, & there was plenty of space! The furnishings in the house were a little older, but they were comfortable & did the job! We didn't spend much time inside anyways- we lounged by the beautiful pool all day & went walking on the nearly deserted beach in front of the house. We rented golf carts through Eddie- highly recommend! The villa is in close proximity to restaurants, bars, & grocery stops with the use of the golf carts. Dervin & "G" provided transportation as well as tours to the Arenal volcano, sunset catamaran cruise, & a fishing trip for the guys. The guys thought it was one of the best fishing trips they've done- caught lots of fish, & the boat crew was outstanding! We had one hiccup with transportation after our catamaran cruise, but Dervin was professional & handled it well! Highly recommend them! Tomas & Janet were awesome- they were always working hard to make sure the house was clean & maintained. They cooked us a couple awesome dinners, & Janet gave two terrific massages! The owner, Joan, was super & easy to work with. She answered any & all questions promptly & checked in on us while we were there. Overall, we had a great trip & enjoyed the relaxing nature of Villa Corazon Del Mar. We would highly recommend it to anyone!"

  • Everything we wanted and more!

"Right from the start this place exceeded our expectations. Kalli was amazing to deal with and very helpful in ensuring all of our questions were answered. We arrived at the condo very late and when we woke up in the morning the location took our breath away. The beach and ocean in front of the condo was much better than the pictures showed. The condo was beautiful, clean and everything we wanted was there. Kalli's information book in the condo and the information she sent prior to our trip was perfect. The sunsets from the deck with a glass of wine in the evening were spectacular after a long day of adventures. The Shack, the Beach House and Coco Loco's are must go to places for food. Everyone in our group are foodies and we were not disappointed with either place. We initially rented bikes and then upgraded to golf cart as it was to hot for us to bike everywhere. The golf cart was a perfect way to experience the local area, we even made a couple very long trips to Tamarindo :) Our next trip we will rent a vehicle to get inland a bit more but would def. recommend the golf cart to travel locally. If you are a diver I would highly recommend the Aqua Centre in Flamingo. Sailing on the Panache (first class), Surfing in Playa Grande. This was our first trip to Costa Rica and will not be our last. We are already discussing our return trip and planning to spend a month as we found 16 days was not enough time to see this beautiful country. Again thank you Kalli for this wonderful place and we returning to the House of Summer sand in the very near future."

Guanacaste Travel Tips

Guanacaste Beach Rentals Give You the Real Costa Rica

If you are looking for long summer days on beautiful coastlines, Guanacaste beach rentals are for you. Vacations in Costa Rica can be filled with activities, sun, and sand. Enjoy the stunning shoreline, top-notch surfing, snorkeling, and so much more when you stay at Guanacaste resorts. The province is the perfect vacation destination for the whole family or the ideal spot for a romantic honeymoon.

Breathtaking Vistas within the Guanacaste Resorts Regions

All along the eastern borders of the province you will find a chain of volcanoes, many of which are visible from some Guanacaste beach rentals. The volcanoes meet the Cordillera de Tilaran and Cordillera de Guanacaste mountain ranges and offer plenty of hiking, mountain biking, and other high elevation activities. The views in this region are particularly breathtaking, especially when you reach Rincon de la Vieja Volcano Area with its lush forests filled with exotic plants and animals. No one ever said vacations in Costa Rica would not be gorgeous!

Vacations in Costa Rica Offer a Little Culture

As you plan your stay in Guanacaste resorts, you might appreciate learning a little bit about the local culture. The region is rich in culture and even takes its name from the word “quahnacaztlan” which is actually the word for the Guanacaste tree in the native language. This tree also happens to be the national tree of the country. Vacations here, especially those at Guanacaste beach rentals, will allow you the opportunity to see what the real Costa Rica is all about.

The Best Way to Reach Your Guanacaste Beach Rentals

Because it is a foreign country, vacations in Costa Rica do take some planning. The easiest way to reach Guanacaste resorts is to fly into Liberia and land at the Daniel Oduber International Airport. From the airport, you may either rent a car or take a bus through Guanacaste up the Pan-American Highway which is quite scenic. You will even catch a glimpse of the volcanoes on your way.
