  • Absolutely Wonderful!

"We just returned from a fabulous 12-day trip to Costa Rica. Villa Gecko was a delightful home to return to after our daily adventures. The villa is clean, very comfortable, well-maintained with a well-equipped kitchen, washer and dryer, all enhanced by a lovely patio and pool. Villa Gecko is located within short walking distance of the the pool, the beach and of Picante (Pez Vela restaurant).Thank you Mary for making us feel so welcome in your charming home. We definitely felt the Pura Vida and we would certainly return to Villa Gecko!"

  • High-end comfortable and private loft- walking distance to Junquillal beach

"Prime location in Junquillal, north pacific coast of Costa Rica. The loft is always in perfect conditions and the service is comparable to a five star resort. All the furniture and objects overall are top quality. The condominium is very safe and the friendly staff is always taking care of you. The location is great since Junquillal is a surfing spot itself and is very close to other great surfing spots: Marbella- Avellanas, Negra. Dine- 15 min. away from the best restaurant of Costa Rica- Villa Deevena, Playa Negra. Chef Patrick use to cook for President Clinton and Bush. Very friendly people. In short, the place is very well managed and you get a lot of value for the price point. This is my second time and definitely not the last."

  • Great location and views!

"Property was clean, spacious, and well equipped. It had an amazing view of the beach. Only a few minor repairs that were needed to some of the condo's fixtures. Overall, great property in walking distance to the beach."

"WOW! When my two children and their 6 friends booked me a 50th Birthday VACATION in Costa Rica..I will admit I was abit apprehensive as to what or where we would be staying and what kind of adventure they had in store for me. They couldn't have done a better job with the home rental. Costa Rica in itself is a beautiful place but having a warm and welcoming home to reside in while we were there was simply comforting. Tom, the owner made us feel so very welcome and was such a help at arranging and offering local information to us. Trust me you need all the local help you can get!....Having a trusting local made it easier to travel about the country at ease. The home is magnificent ... he placed such thought into detail when building this house. The dragonfly inlet tiles, the copper sinks, teak wood details throughout the home and property, AIR CONDITIONING!!!!, a must see for yourself property. Its a hide away in the canopy of the jungles of Costa Rica. Walking to everything you need, beaches and great food!!!! We were introduced to locals to whom we became friends with throughout the duration of our stay and hope to remain framily for many years. If you want a true Costa Rica experience without all the hussle and bussle of the tourists areas...check this place out....become one with the sounds and smells of the country. Amazing trip....we will return, and when we do it will be at the home of Tom."

Guanacaste Travel Tips

Guanacaste Beach Rentals Give You the Real Costa Rica

If you are looking for long summer days on beautiful coastlines, Guanacaste beach rentals are for you. Vacations in Costa Rica can be filled with activities, sun, and sand. Enjoy the stunning shoreline, top-notch surfing, snorkeling, and so much more when you stay at Guanacaste resorts. The province is the perfect vacation destination for the whole family or the ideal spot for a romantic honeymoon.

Breathtaking Vistas within the Guanacaste Resorts Regions

All along the eastern borders of the province you will find a chain of volcanoes, many of which are visible from some Guanacaste beach rentals. The volcanoes meet the Cordillera de Tilaran and Cordillera de Guanacaste mountain ranges and offer plenty of hiking, mountain biking, and other high elevation activities. The views in this region are particularly breathtaking, especially when you reach Rincon de la Vieja Volcano Area with its lush forests filled with exotic plants and animals. No one ever said vacations in Costa Rica would not be gorgeous!

Vacations in Costa Rica Offer a Little Culture

As you plan your stay in Guanacaste resorts, you might appreciate learning a little bit about the local culture. The region is rich in culture and even takes its name from the word “quahnacaztlan” which is actually the word for the Guanacaste tree in the native language. This tree also happens to be the national tree of the country. Vacations here, especially those at Guanacaste beach rentals, will allow you the opportunity to see what the real Costa Rica is all about.

The Best Way to Reach Your Guanacaste Beach Rentals

Because it is a foreign country, vacations in Costa Rica do take some planning. The easiest way to reach Guanacaste resorts is to fly into Liberia and land at the Daniel Oduber International Airport. From the airport, you may either rent a car or take a bus through Guanacaste up the Pan-American Highway which is quite scenic. You will even catch a glimpse of the volcanoes on your way.
