  • Great location!!

"This Condo is huge and was plenty of space for us 3 couples. The location is very close to the beach only about a 10 minute walk. There is a small grocery store at the bottom of the hill which has most of the essentials. The list of food recommendations was great we tried out so many. Las Baulas pizza was great. La Bodega across the street for breakfast and coffee is excellent!!. We did the wok n roll and everyone loved their Sushi. The surf shack has some of the best burgers and fries I have had. All the restaurants have Costa Rican service which is relaxed. Plan on being in any of the restaurants for 2 hours unless you go before 6 so don't arrive hungry! For our local cuisine we talked with someone in one of the downtown shops and she recommended we eat out of the back of this women's car. Apparently all the locals eat what she brings. It is a traditional rice/ beans, Plaintains, a slaw of some type and vege, pork, chicken or beef. She parks under a tree downtown near the Diria Hotel. The cost is only about 4 Us dollars per meal. She is there only at lunch. We got lunch from her twice it was so good. If interested in it ask some of the locals they will direct you. Not well stocked to cook as we only found two spices in the house. We opted to eat out instead. I did find that food is kind of expensive here. A small jar of peanut butter will run you over $6.00 so if you don't want to eat every meal out maybe bring some small items from home. Also we were there at a busy time of year and they seem to have some type of rolling blackouts. We would lose power in the evenings for a few hours so you may want to plan ahead. Also we were in Tamarindo for New Years and we had so much fun walking on the beach at midnight with probably 10,000 others watching the fireworks and all the paper hot air balloons being let off it was so beautiful!!"

  • Perfect Nosara setup

"My family just returned from our Costa Rica vacation and couldn't be happier with our stay at Agua Dulce. It was the perfect location for us. We wanted to walk to the surf at Playa Guinoes and being able to walk to the shops and restaurants. Our 2br place was perfect for our kids (14 and 12), the pool was refreshing, wifi was a hit (I said we wouldn't use, but we did :), and the AC kept everyone cool at night. Great place, great time, memories we will have until we get back again! Thank you"

  • 50th wedding anniversary with whole family

"What a wonderful week we had. Your place was just marvelous. One never really knows what it will turn out to be until on site and we were just ecstatic once in the house and saw all of the accommodations. It seemed to us that you have the best place in Playa Grande in the facility known as Villa Olivia!!!!!!! We could not have asked for anything better. The staff were wonderful, gracious, helpful, courteous, and very attentive. Kim was a fabulous cook, every evening meal. We participated in a number of interesting activities but enjoyed the beach, the waves, and the view from the hammocks, lounge chairs, and benches under the trees at your place the most!!! Thank you for your responsiveness throughout the reservation process."

  • Absolutely fantastic

"This is a gorgeous property. But more important, owner Jackie and her staff know how to make their guests feel relaxed and comfortable. The two houses are immaculate as are the grounds and pool. Two ladies clean daily and one hardly notices when they are there. We had them cook just one fantastic dinner and breakfast but they can do more. We have visited Costa Rica multiple times but this was our first as an entire family- eight of us, including two granddaughters 6 and 9. Villa Oasis was perfect! I'd give more than five stars if it were possible. We lounged around the pool, took morning walks to the beach but for beach days, we drove the five minute drive to Carrillo Beach. The beach is one of the best in Costa Rica. One son in law surfed three days at a great surf beach about twenty minutes drive south. There are many excellent restaurants in the area, including a little family pizza and pasta place just down the road. Easy for the first night's dinner. We aren't fishermen, so didn't go with Rick on the "Kingfisher" but we'd probably book a trip next time just to see the area from the ocean and perhaps get some fresh fish. The pictures are accurate- the villa is perhaps even nicer than the pictures show. We feel this is a first class vacation destination- absolutely fantastic! Thank you Jackie, Jessie and Jenzy for a wonderful week."

Guanacaste Travel Tips

Guanacaste Beach Rentals Give You the Real Costa Rica

If you are looking for long summer days on beautiful coastlines, Guanacaste beach rentals are for you. Vacations in Costa Rica can be filled with activities, sun, and sand. Enjoy the stunning shoreline, top-notch surfing, snorkeling, and so much more when you stay at Guanacaste resorts. The province is the perfect vacation destination for the whole family or the ideal spot for a romantic honeymoon.

Breathtaking Vistas within the Guanacaste Resorts Regions

All along the eastern borders of the province you will find a chain of volcanoes, many of which are visible from some Guanacaste beach rentals. The volcanoes meet the Cordillera de Tilaran and Cordillera de Guanacaste mountain ranges and offer plenty of hiking, mountain biking, and other high elevation activities. The views in this region are particularly breathtaking, especially when you reach Rincon de la Vieja Volcano Area with its lush forests filled with exotic plants and animals. No one ever said vacations in Costa Rica would not be gorgeous!

Vacations in Costa Rica Offer a Little Culture

As you plan your stay in Guanacaste resorts, you might appreciate learning a little bit about the local culture. The region is rich in culture and even takes its name from the word “quahnacaztlan” which is actually the word for the Guanacaste tree in the native language. This tree also happens to be the national tree of the country. Vacations here, especially those at Guanacaste beach rentals, will allow you the opportunity to see what the real Costa Rica is all about.

The Best Way to Reach Your Guanacaste Beach Rentals

Because it is a foreign country, vacations in Costa Rica do take some planning. The easiest way to reach Guanacaste resorts is to fly into Liberia and land at the Daniel Oduber International Airport. From the airport, you may either rent a car or take a bus through Guanacaste up the Pan-American Highway which is quite scenic. You will even catch a glimpse of the volcanoes on your way.
