  • Great place!

"We loved the Hacienda with its open concept around the courtyard and swimming pool. The kitchen as part of this space was great both for meals and easy access to snacks and drinks. The bedrooms were comfortable, and it was nice to have the option of having and AC'ed space if needed, although like the recommendation we tried not to rely on that too much to acclimatize ourselves. Our group did kind of wish that the sitting/TV room had air conditioning. Also I'm not sure if it was typical of March in CR but there were a ton of mosquitos. So as long as you're prepared for that you will have a lovely stay at the Hacienda del Pacifico. The things we loved was the proximity to the beach. The staff. And we would strongly recommend the Friday Beach BBQ at the Hotel Capitan Suiza."

  • Incredible and relaxing

"Being travel agency owners we have travelled extensively and consider ourselves very fussy... We set the bar high and this condo met and exceeded our expectations in every way! My husband, myself and 3 teenagers travelled to Las Ventanas in Dec. the condo was so spacious and it was decorated beautifully! The grounds and pool area were spectacular with some of the most amazing views and sunsets we have ever seen...often we were the only people at the pool. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful from the time we booked until we drove away at the end of our week. The area was a nice change to some of the other areas we have visited in Costa Rica as it was a lot quieter with less tourists. The beach was was very clean and safe for swimming and there are so many great restaurants that it was hard to choose. We can't wait to return, thank you for the great week :)"

  • Perfect getaway..,..

"We had such a great time in Costa Rica last week. Wish I was there now! Thanks to Val for opening up your home to my family. We all loved your place! It was so nice and way nicer then the pictures you have online. My wife who is fussy about everything loved it there. You had everything we needed. I even left a few extra beers for the next person that comes. Truly wonderful accommodations. We tried all your restaurant recommendations too. They were all good. Only negative I could find was the ride from the main gate (10 min) to the 2nd gate but in the end it was worth it. The surfing is awesome at "little hawaii" which you have the easiest access to from this villa. We had some much space too in your condo we truly felt like we were right at home. Loved the beach club there which you need to pay $20 per family. You can use it for a meal credit, drink credit or whatever you want. We went there everyday with the kids and they loved the pool. For me it was ideal because I could surf and hang with my family and not feel like I was leaving them for long."

  • Pura Vida

"Casa Limon exceeded our high expectations. As others have said, the architecture is spectacular and the place is laid out beautifully. The kitchen makes you want to cook, and the dining room makes you want to dine in. That being said there are many great choices for eating out. The whole fish at Locanda on the beach was probably our favorite. Ma Ma Gui's makes the best thin crust pizza we've ever had. We arranged with Gerardo(the on site caretaker) via email to have his sister Lleana make a special dinner for us. Lleana made a delicious, gourmet, 4 course meal for us. We also arranged ahead of time for the 5 of us to have massages with Tod, Casa Limon's massuse. All 5 of us were impressed with his skill and knowledge and wanted more. We managed to get in 2 more hours of massage for 2 lucky family memebers. As others have said, it was really nice to have Gerardo nearby. One day the wifi wasn't working and he knew just how to reboot it, our sons wanted to rent surfboards on New Years Day and Gerardo just happened to have 2 surfboards they could rent, and he helped them tie it to the top of the jeep. I wouldn't have know that Jinny the housekeeper was there because she is so unobtusive, except that the house looked cleaner. With 5 adults it was really nice to have the option of walking to and from town even though we had a jeep. Everybody could come and go as they pleased for yoga classes on the beach, or surfing at the best time, or catching lunch at the bohemian cafe (a favorite of our crowd), etc. I musn't forget to say something about the pool. I didn't realize that the dining room/family room is totally open to the outside and thus the pool. We had an 18 month old with us and I panicked when I first realized it was all open. As it turns out the pool with it's steps entertained our grand daughter for hours every day , and it wasn't a problem at all because with an 18 month old you pretty much need to have somebody supervising their movement all the time anyway. We did feel that it would not be a place for 2 non swimming toddlers, but luckily we just had one with us. As you can tell from the pics there are some boulders that separate the pool area and it was easy to separate patio time from pool time. Rich, the owner was real helpful and easy to communicate with via email. I could go on and on, it's true Pura Vida!"

Guanacaste Travel Tips

Guanacaste Beach Rentals Give You the Real Costa Rica

If you are looking for long summer days on beautiful coastlines, Guanacaste beach rentals are for you. Vacations in Costa Rica can be filled with activities, sun, and sand. Enjoy the stunning shoreline, top-notch surfing, snorkeling, and so much more when you stay at Guanacaste resorts. The province is the perfect vacation destination for the whole family or the ideal spot for a romantic honeymoon.

Breathtaking Vistas within the Guanacaste Resorts Regions

All along the eastern borders of the province you will find a chain of volcanoes, many of which are visible from some Guanacaste beach rentals. The volcanoes meet the Cordillera de Tilaran and Cordillera de Guanacaste mountain ranges and offer plenty of hiking, mountain biking, and other high elevation activities. The views in this region are particularly breathtaking, especially when you reach Rincon de la Vieja Volcano Area with its lush forests filled with exotic plants and animals. No one ever said vacations in Costa Rica would not be gorgeous!

Vacations in Costa Rica Offer a Little Culture

As you plan your stay in Guanacaste resorts, you might appreciate learning a little bit about the local culture. The region is rich in culture and even takes its name from the word “quahnacaztlan” which is actually the word for the Guanacaste tree in the native language. This tree also happens to be the national tree of the country. Vacations here, especially those at Guanacaste beach rentals, will allow you the opportunity to see what the real Costa Rica is all about.

The Best Way to Reach Your Guanacaste Beach Rentals

Because it is a foreign country, vacations in Costa Rica do take some planning. The easiest way to reach Guanacaste resorts is to fly into Liberia and land at the Daniel Oduber International Airport. From the airport, you may either rent a car or take a bus through Guanacaste up the Pan-American Highway which is quite scenic. You will even catch a glimpse of the volcanoes on your way.
