  • Best vacation ever!

"We loved the house, the beach, the pool, and much more. We took many walks on the beach which was always amazing! There were great neighbors and we were never bored. It is a great property and it was very very safe! It was the best vacation ever! The only downside was that there was construction going on all day, every day which made it hard to hear the waves and we were not informed about this before we came. But, we didn't mind it that much."

  • Can't Get Enough of Rancho Deluxe!

"My girlfriend and I just returned from our third stay at the villa within the last year. As so many others have professed, it is an "other-world" experience. We are definitely addicted and can't wait for our next trip!! Jerry, thanks again for sharing your slice of paradise."

  • Great unit, grounds and location

"This was a great rental. The unit is very nice with three bedrooms, a good sized kitchen, comfortable living room and a small table by the window that made for a comfortable computer work station to keep in touch. There is a good washer and dryer and the kitchen was well stocked. The TV was a good size. There were plenty of shower and pool towels. There are two safes that make locking things up easy, which is important for peace of mind. This is one of five units in a gated compound surrounding a pool. It is the only second floor unit, so it is quiet and quite private. If I could change one thing, it would be to replace the french doors between two of the bedrooms with a wall, but if you have little kids the doors are probably better to give them more of a connection to their parents. Outside was even better. There is a large table (seats 6) on a patio overlooking the complex. There are trees all around, so it has a nice view but it also private. We had breakfast there every morning and a few dinners as well. There is also a side patio down a level, with two chaise lounges. Down by the pool there are another few chairs and tables, so there was usually no issue getting a spot to relax. The pool was great for the family. Warm, clean and a good size. A bit too short for lengths, but ever so fun for lounging, made up water polo, diving for object or just floating and watching the iguanas or monkeys. Really idyllic. Finally, the location was just as good as the unit and grounds. It is on a quieter street on the far side of Tamarindo. It is a couple of hundred yards past the bars and restaurants, so it was quiet at night, but close enough that walking into the heart of Tamarindo for dinner was a pleasant stroll. It is across the street from the beach, but there is a pass through right across the street from the compound so you're on the beach in a minute or two. The beach is really nice. Flat, fine sand, with spectacular sunsets. We've rented a ton from VRBO and this was one of the better units as it was great for the unit, the grounds and the location. We loved it."

  • Wonderful stay at Casa-Banda!

"We had a wonderful, relaxing time in a beautiful oasis in a jungle. If you can imagine a Hollywood film star going to a resort in Costa Rica, this is it! Listening to the unusual birds in the morning was magical, and the chirping (quietly) geckos at night. We walked down to the beach at Playa Pelada; it was scenic with rock outcrops, uncrowded, and plenty of sand for sunbathing. We enjoyed watching the terns, pelicans, egrets, osprey, and frigatebirds diving for fish. Don't miss visiting Lagarta Restaurant just down the road from Casa-Banda. The view of Rio Nosara, estuary, and shoreline is incredible and very romantic! Bibi and Arne are wonderful hosts and a wealth of knowledge. We enjoyed hearing many great stories about their lives in Costa Rica. We hope to return again!"

Guanacaste Travel Tips

Guanacaste Beach Rentals Give You the Real Costa Rica

If you are looking for long summer days on beautiful coastlines, Guanacaste beach rentals are for you. Vacations in Costa Rica can be filled with activities, sun, and sand. Enjoy the stunning shoreline, top-notch surfing, snorkeling, and so much more when you stay at Guanacaste resorts. The province is the perfect vacation destination for the whole family or the ideal spot for a romantic honeymoon.

Breathtaking Vistas within the Guanacaste Resorts Regions

All along the eastern borders of the province you will find a chain of volcanoes, many of which are visible from some Guanacaste beach rentals. The volcanoes meet the Cordillera de Tilaran and Cordillera de Guanacaste mountain ranges and offer plenty of hiking, mountain biking, and other high elevation activities. The views in this region are particularly breathtaking, especially when you reach Rincon de la Vieja Volcano Area with its lush forests filled with exotic plants and animals. No one ever said vacations in Costa Rica would not be gorgeous!

Vacations in Costa Rica Offer a Little Culture

As you plan your stay in Guanacaste resorts, you might appreciate learning a little bit about the local culture. The region is rich in culture and even takes its name from the word “quahnacaztlan” which is actually the word for the Guanacaste tree in the native language. This tree also happens to be the national tree of the country. Vacations here, especially those at Guanacaste beach rentals, will allow you the opportunity to see what the real Costa Rica is all about.

The Best Way to Reach Your Guanacaste Beach Rentals

Because it is a foreign country, vacations in Costa Rica do take some planning. The easiest way to reach Guanacaste resorts is to fly into Liberia and land at the Daniel Oduber International Airport. From the airport, you may either rent a car or take a bus through Guanacaste up the Pan-American Highway which is quite scenic. You will even catch a glimpse of the volcanoes on your way.
